  • There are many different kinds of angels in the Bible of various ranks including the archangels.
An angel is a messenger from God and the archangels are some of the higher-ranking angels in heaven. The prefix “arch” means “chief” and so these archangels are chief among the angels.
There are three archangels named in the Bible: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.
    Saint Michael the Archangel
    ”Gift from God”
Michael defended the people of Israel in battle in the Old Testament Book of Daniel. He served as the patron angel of God’s people. He maintained this role in the New Testament Book of Revelation as John saw a vision of him fighting a battle against Satan in heaven. Many people turn to Michael for protection against temptation from Satan today.
    Saint Gabriel the Archangel
    ”God is my Strength”
The archangel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary to announce the birth of Jesus Christ and to Zechariah to foretell the birth of John the Baptist. He also appeared earlier in the Old Testament as an interpreter of dreams and visions for the prophet Daniel.
    Saint Raphael the Archangel
    ”God has Healed”
The archangel Raphael helped Tobiah find a wife and heal his father in the Old Testament Book of Tobit.
Some other churches, religions, and even early Church Fathers list the names of other archangels, but only these three appear in the accepted books of the Bible.
How many Archangels are there in the Bible?
Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael are the only three archangels featured by name in the Bible and the only names accepted by the Catholic Church. These are the archangels celebrated on the Feast of the Archangels.
However, Raphael introduces himself as “one of the seven angels who stand and serve before the Glory of the Lord” (Tobit 12:15). This has led many to believe there are seven archangels and some apocryphal texts like the Book of Enoch list them by name: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Phanuel, and Sariel.
Other denominations accept many archangels and Eastern Orthodox Christians venerate many archangels.

Point of correction, Raphael was never named in the Bible. Gabriel was never called an archangel in the Bible. You're only correct about Michael who's not only named in the Bible but the only angel called an archangel in the Bible. Infact the Bible refer to Michael as "The Archangel" which is a singular term. If you're sending this video to help people then teach them what's in the Bible not what's not in the bible..
