EOs are loaded with toxic VOCs. scripps.ucsd.edu/biblio/volatile-chemical-emissions-essential-oils This YL laundry product contains decyl glucocide, 2017 Allergen of the Year. And you’re probably paying a premium to be exposed to all that crap. Smart? Nope!!!!
Loved the video. Yours was my favorite by far and used it to dilute mine. Will you be creating any videos for the household cleaner, hand soap, and dish soap?
Yes! It’s 100% plant based and safer than anything else out there. I’ve been using it for years, and I have two kiddos (7 & 3). Also works amazing on stains! No extra stain remover need. 😉 Would love to help teach you how get started and send you a gift for joining me. You can find me @heyalyssaramsey on Instagram or visit oilyboxshop.com and click Get Oils for more info.
I have a link in the description below the video with a link to the bottles I use. Those are currently unavailable, but if you scroll down to similar items you can find the same bottles in a 2pk or other choices available. Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊
Is this really worth the money though? I’m genuinely asking because I wanted to however after watching this video not so sure let me further explain. She said I’d need three 32 ounce bottles =96 ounces total. How many loads can you do with that? As well as to consider the cost is around 30 and this does not include shipping and handling ? Not to mention I could go buy a the tide laundry detergent for $13 and get 115 washes. How many loads can I get from all of those bottles?
Steffyyy robless It’s totally worth the money! I cost compare between Tide and Thieves in the video to help make it easy to compare cost per load of Tide cost and this Thieves hack. I get up to 192 HE loads out of these three bottles for the cost explained in the video. Plus it is plant based, so no chemical brightners, SLS, parabens, chemicals linked to cancer, etc found in many store shelf brands. And it works amazing! I’ve been doing this recipe for nearly 4 years and it’s all I use. No fabric softener (I use white vinegar) and no separate stain removers, etc. If you’d love to chat more or want help getting started I’d love to help you! Feel free to find me on social media @faithbloomsoilers or @heyalyssaramsey I would love to chat more with you to truly help you and answer your questions. 😊
Steffyyy robless As a consumer you have no objective way of comparing concentration of cleaning agents unless you have access to a chemistry lab. What you get instead are testimonials like hers that make all sorts of claims, about which I am skeptical.
@@FrankGutowski-ls8jt I get what you're saying, but I personally don't feel like I need a lab to tell me if my clothes are clean 😅 (I also don't need a lab to smell the petroleum-based fragrances that are often known carcinogens and disrupt normal hormone balance in generic cleaners .... we got chemicals in the USA that are illegal in other countries because they're so toxic ⚠️) Every essential oil we're using is a chemical we aren't using, so more the merrier! That's just how I see it, of course:)
You are far far far better than this lady from Simply Lake & Lace for she is discriminating people with disabilities. You provided closed caption. I am very impressed with you! Great work!
Thank you! I'm going to make this tomorrow! I'm also looking for a healthy alternative to dryer sheets to help with static cling (especially in the winter months)! I have dryer balls and I put the YL EO on them but that doesn't do anything for the static cling of sport shorts and other polyester type athletic fabrics. Any ideas? :)
Roger Shenk thanks so much for watching! Would love to hear what you think after you give it a try. If you like this video, make sure to share with your friends. 😊 And don’t forget to hit the like button and SUBSCRIBE. 🙌🏻 I also use wool dryer balls with YL Lemongrass on them. Smells great! Try clipping a safety pin to your dryer balls to help with the static cling. 😉
Roger Shenk Place a safety pin on one of your dryer balls. It helps with the static cling! I haven’t tried putting it on all the dryer balls but I know having one works!
I personally do not use dryer sheets at all. I just deal with the static. I would love clean suggestions though. What I find works best for polyester clothes, is hanging them to dry and not putting them in the dryer at all. I have found they don’t smell or stink. I find putting them in the dry makes them smelly. I hope that helps.
I just use White Vinegar! It’s a natural and safe softener. Sometimes I will add a couple drops of Young Living oils into the vinegar softener when I run it, but I use wool dryer balls with Oils on them typically. 😉
Kirsten Michele Simple Living Thanks for watching, and yes you are correct. 😊 They have corporate and partner farms, but they are the only company to own their own farms. All other oil companies import, purchase third party, etc. So Young Living is the only one that has complete quality control, but the knowledge, equipment and ability to produce the highest quality of pure oil because of this. Their distilleries are on site, so they can manage proper distillation times, heat, etc. All of those details are super important for purity and quality. 😉 Their partner farms are all held to same Seed to Seal standards, and they have very close relationships with each of the farm managers at each farm. I had the privilege of hearing a group of them collectively speak together this past summer and their respect for the company, knowledge and love and care for what they do is bar none. You can also book a tour of ANY of the farms to visit them anywhere at any time! No other company can offer this, which is amazing. 😊
It is so expensive and to purchase the product they wanted my social security number why do they need that. I have never had to give my social security number to purchase anything
Armchair toxicologist. Sound like she’s been brainwashed and indoctrinated by YL, the MLM cult. Same old YL propaganda targeting clueless, gullible housewives. Wrong. They have contract farms. They buy commercial surfactants. Wrong, there are no ‘medicinal benefits’. FDA warned them in 2014 to cease and desist making medicinal claims about EOs. Look up the definition of toxin. Store bought detergents don’t contain toxins. Saying a product is plant based is no assurance that it’s toxin free, as both plants and animals can produce toxins.
Frank Gutowski thank you for your comment. This channel is meant to help provide awareness about toxins AND chemicals found in our homes. Young Living is a company we have used for many years and they have been a huge help to our family’s health. I have personally visited one of their many owned farms, their labs, and warehouses, and I have seen the process first hand to be able to attest to the quality and purity. No other company even owns their own farms, period. They do also have partner farms, but they are held to the same rigorous standards and YL is actively involved in their production and processes. They do not just purchase from them like other companies. Thank you for watching, and I hope this video helps provide positive encouragement for people to check the ingredients of the products in their homes and to do their own educated research. It is our goal to bring awareness of ingredients regardless of the companies and products they choose to use. The end goal is the same...better choices=better health. 😊
From a chemistry point of interest, any water base premixed product without a preservative and left for more 2 days microbial test show growth.
one more, I have watched many Young Living videos, you are my favorite of all. Keep up the great work. Good video!

Thanks Alyssa, this was a great instruction vid. I really appreciate you showing how much to use. I have been using WAY too much!
Where did you buy that gorgeous pentagon shelf?
My husband made it for me! : )
Where is the link to buy the pump bottles from Amazon? Great job by the way -a fellow YL oiler :)
How did you get the Thieves labels off for the clear amazon bought ones?
Is this detergent ok to use for babies?
