I dilute this way... 30 oz water to 1 oz cleaner. Or in a 16 oz spray bottle with water to just over 1/2 oz of cleaner. Or in a 8 oz bottle with water to just over 1/4 oz of cleaner. ❤❤ Love love this cleaner only thing I use and it's the only cleaner I would ever let my kids use. They love helping me.🙂

Glad to help! Just remember for light degreasing use 3 cups of water to 1 cap of cleaner, for medium degreasing use 2 cups of water to 1 cap of cleaner, and for hard degreasing use 1 cup of water to 1 cap of cleaner. Happy cleaning! 😊

Love this. My question is ... we know thieves cleaner is antibacterial, I use thieves cleaner in my local school to clean, what is the ratio needed to insure I am killing viruses and such on surfaces also with other sanitizers there is a recommended time to leave on surfaces befor whipping off usually 60-90 seconds this information would be very helpful to ensure I am sanitizing properly at my school.

My husband looks at the ratio as 1oz to 30oz. Each capful equals 1/4 oz. We make our everyday, (medium) cleaner with 1/2oz thieves cleaner to 15-16oz water. I like a smaller bottle. Does that sound right? I do wish they would change the instructions to ounces instead of parts.

I love the smell of this stuff. My sister gave me some of it. Along with the toothpaste and hand sanitizer. Is the household cleaner an antibacterial. I know the hand sanitizer does because the first ingredient is alcohol. But I don't see anything listed on the household cleaner bottle.

Suggestion, if the singles still exist, 3 tablespoons in one ounce. So a tablespoonful could help if you didn't receive a cap with your single sample 😇

You can cut a roll of paper towels in half in put it in a plastic large can or Folgers for easy cleaning wipes.
Can we use Young Living thieves cleaner in a carpet cleaning machine?
Would anyone know how long I can keep the Thieves cleaner diluted in my spray bottle? I heard some say 2 weeks. What if it lays beyond that? Thanks in advance for any help.
We have no specific research on how many days it can last before it loses its unique properties; however, if stored in an HDPE or PET type plastic or glass spray bottle for a few weeks, it will be fine!
If you use PETE Plastic HDPE or Glass you can leave it in there as long as you want. You cannot use any other things to store or it can eat the plastics and get into the cleaner and the stuff that plastics are made up of are toxic
I love thieves. I use peroxide instead of water- it makes it work like it’s on steroids.

Mine is a cloudy after I diluted.
Try adding a little more water! Our dilution ratios are a good guide, but tweak until you find the ratio that works best for you.
Have you ever heard or experienced this issue? I’ve tried to tweak it and it’s still cloudy every time. Even with the directions you gave. So weird

What about for disinfecting soft surfaces after sickness? Like mattress or couch.
@Hocksfam great question! We have a recipe for Carpet Spot cleaner, where you combine 6 cups of water and one capful of the HH Thieves cleaner. Store in a glass spray bottle, spray with the solution and blot with a clean cloth. This solution is intended specifically for carpet, so it may not be as effective on a mattress or a couch, but it should help to disinfect!
