I fear young people may think money is easy to obtain and become discouraged to seek a path of hard work. Unfortunately the world doesn't work that way, although RUclips and social media may make them feel warm and fluffy.. We live in a HIGHLY competitive world, and it gets harder every day as populations grow.
Thank you so much for having me and showcasing my musical side, Jubilee! I love the open discussion about money. I hope you all enjoyed the episode as much as I did hanging around the filmmaker John that day! :D
I think whoever uploaded this video is an asshole trying to make the girl look better than the boy, why can't we be real like with the Ricky Gutierrez video? PS I don't think that guy even makes 60 a day, he got a lucky 35 dollar tip, subtract the luck and he probably makes 30 a day.
Amy Escamilla Like yeah if it is an expense for your job or in that environment like a loss on investment I get it. But random external expenses like his car being parked wrong seem pretty arbitrary imo. 🤷♂️
I think you're being too kind. Adding in the $600 parking tow was highly misleading for this article. They shoot this one day later and it's a boring article and they know it. they're going to have to be more sincere going forward or they risk getting labeled as intentionally misleading their audience for clicks.
I think everyone's missing the point.. lol. They didn't predict that his car was getting towed. The common question after the videos are does money buy happiness. Even though he literally didn't make anything that day, he was still happy (despite what he was saying)
Different lives. One living for herself and her future, the other for a loved one and his end. Both respectable, different perspectives. Awesome series!
I don't think the software engineer was living his life only for a loved one and his end. I think they were both living for the future and may be living for other things. In the video, the software engineer said he was taking care of his dad but never said that he still does that or that he lives for his dad.
Doesn't really make sense how you take the 10 bucks or so that he spent on breakfast and lunch as if the girl didn't eat or drink anything during the entire time you were there also deducting his $600 towing fee is kinda bs
but...but...but....life is soooooo hard as a 22 year old intern making $96,000 a year and having to start sooooooo early at 10 am, and work soooo late until 3:15. Ugh....you guys just don't understand the struggle we have to face. Like....literally, people judge us all the time as being entitled....and it's like pretty much rape okay? OMG! This is so unfair. I'm like just so stressed out now. I need to take a 3 month vacation.
1) He only made less money because his car got towed, on a normal day he makes almost double what she does 2) He is unhappy because he's got the shit end of software dev. If he worked for a larger company or even a company of 50-60 he'd get more interaction and group projects, so he'd enjoy his job a lot more. 3)IMO he's in the wrong profession. if he genuinely doesn't like coding, how is he going to do it all day and not go crazy, and how will he teach it to kids without a passion for it at all? He seems confused to me. I get tired of coding after a days work, and I actually enjoy it.
Not when you live in SF and pay 4k a month for rent for that tiny, shitty little apartment. Also - it doesn't mention if it's 2k a week BEFORE or AFTER taxes.
Yep he makes 7k a month when he doesn't get his car towed by being a dumbo. More if he made his lunch. He's not struggling like they tried to make it seem with the boring sad music for him and the upbeat fun music for her. Plus he even said he enjoys his life he is just not as animated as the girl personality wise.
I love this series so much! Really insightful into how people go about their daily lives. Brilliant cinematography and editing. Well put together Jubilee! Keep the series coming please :)
R Age I know people that do this because you can exempt certain lines and write something that the machine ignores (however this makes is take more hardrive space and loads slower when you run said peice of code )
Garth HetaBlade Quinn even said he takes a half an hour to an hour to remember what he was doing. Just put a comment that says "Start here, continue doing" whatever. People forget what they were doing and why they did it all the time, not to mention the next person that is going to modify the code needs to know what you were thinking and doing.
Garth HetaBlade Aftrr reading my reply to you, it might look like I was saying that you are for not commenting.. This was not my intention, I was just saying in general reasons why people should comment their code.
Jonas Hübotter It really depends on what type of code you are writing. If you have ever written code with algorithms in it, you have to explain it because it gets so confusing not to mention it makes it way easier to understand. There are usually equations with several calls in it and if somebody comes after you to maintain your code, they will have to find the other calls and understand what's going on in that then come back to the original equation and understand what's going on in there. For example, I wrote code that has a beam of light from a satellite to the Earth. If you are pointing straight down from the satellite to the Earth, code is easy. If the beam is at an angle, now you have to know how much of the beam is on the Earth and off the Earth, shape the beam to the Earth's surface, and decide how far the beam will stop if it's not on the Earth. Now, think if I didn't write comments and a customer said "I don't want a square beam, I want a circle beam" can you re-write the code?
I know right, who does that shiet? lolol First time I've heard of a girlfriend ever doing something like that. I'm betting she's expecting a nice 2k necklace or something that cost a lot of money out of this calendar thing.

Hello I'm new to bitcoin trade and i have been making few loses, but recently i see a lot of people earning from it, can someone please give me a new strategy or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I have been seeing so many recommendations about olivia tracy on Instagram and telegram trending, her strategy must be good for people to talk about her
my cousin recommended her to me. He has been investing with her for some months now, but he earns just 60% of whatever he invests in a week which i think its too low, I've seen other traders who offer to give you 300% of whatever you invest
Wow I'm thirty years old and make about $90 a day, 9-6pm, standing the whole day. It's a weird mix of depression and inspiration to see these young ones making so much money. I know its possible to find work that actually pays well but I just don't know where to start.
Christopher Page I should be in u.s.a instead of my country (Spain) I work in hospitality as a waiter I just get 1.200 a month....Ian’s I have to deal with customers and all day stand...Hahaha I feel like I wanna be there
Girl: "So the fun thing about freelancing is that you never know how much you're going to make" Guy: "How much do you make a month?" Girl: "Uhm 4 - 5k... XDDD"
They asked about how much. You can take your yearly earnings and average it out on a monthly basis. And it is true, your income is not super stable. you may be able to afford your living expenses but its not a constant regular thing if you understand... like maybe a week you dont get work at all but another week you have a client who is paying 200/hr and for a 8 hr shoot for multiple days etc.
This video was so eye opening. They do completely different things, but you can see how money plays a role in their lives in similar/ different ways. I love these videos and this series is truly amazing!!! Plus her singingggggg🤩
Matthew Hellman she said in the video that her pay isn’t always consistent. She never knows how much she’ll make, he on the other hand always makes the same amount.
This is easily one of the most moving videos I've seen in a long time. You have two people on polar ends of the spectrum, different backgrounds, and different mindsets both feeling that they are happy. I think what's most amazing is even Ricky hesitated to say he was happy but immediately answered that money does not buy happiness. Respect to both of these exceptional individuals.
this is not realistic at all for any purpose. When you freelance, you don't get a client daily you don't make the same amount daily. You also don't get your car toll each day, monthly makes more sense.
Very missleading that they make the guy pay 600 over some random BS , but the girl does not get the same, however ignoring the $money$ part of this being a bad comparison, the girl is living a much happier fulfilling life just because of her attitude.
I mean, if you want, you can also include the cost of rent in each of their apartments. His rent in SF proper likely $3k/month (average), while she would more likely have been paying $2K (average). I think it's safe to say he is making more but spending more on food while she is making less (highly dependent on if she is hired), but spending less. Interesting video though!
a 22 year old rents a 2 floor house paying it with his internship money....interesting no wonder ppl is SF cant make it out alive as others in comment say with 8k a month...beeing stupid is the reason 8k a month wont keep someone alive
if he has roommates and he pays so much then its time for a change ...find somewhere else to live....just for this video and all the comments i checked for houses and studios.....literally places with less than 1k$....sometimes if u struggle is good to leave ur comfort and think ahead ...its all for the best.....
YnR Shikyo that's well living in SF is a struggle for everyone, not just intend. Rent is going up in SF and the median rent is moving higher than $2.5k a month. But because tech is in the city, most people can afford it.
i mean i cant rly say THIS is right cause ofc i am not from SF but i rly think that if u search and take some time to see where most of your money go and adapt , change some things its rly helpful and yes the majority might be expensive shit here and there ...still you can avoid some of them and with a monthly 8k i think thats not that hard....ofc as someone that has no family to support....dunno what he is doing with his parents i am talking about wife and kids that live with him and he needs to take care of ...again i might be completely wrong but i think there is a way i live in brussels and for my standards and the money i have monthly i feel its expensive for me...but by beeing careful and not beeing worried if my house is big/small or a hole i am doing pretty well...totally better than when i first came here.
You need to have this same discussion with a bit older people, with kids, and see what money means to them. Its really easy to not care about money when you have no one depending on you for everything. But once you have a couple kids and your own happiness depends on their happiness, money does indeed buy that happiness. I have a mid 40s friend who also says money doesn't mean that much, but he has no kids. Do an episode with parents, there will be a big difference of opinion.
Exactly man Most people lack the right knowledge to trading and they don't let experts help them trade, they tend to do it on their own knowing fully well they lack the right strategy
I'm so glad Jubilee is tackling money. I know I get wrapped up in it as much as anyone else. It's really interesting to see the way other people live and value and give weight to money. Good job guys! between this and the monopoly, I hope you keep finding ways to show how people feel about money, and make it different and interesting for the internet
Some people are so wound up because he had an early expense and thinks that shouldn't count. Of course it counts. Maybe he only got towed once but maybe it's something that happens a lot because of where he lives. She probably doesn't make $400 day but she did today so it counts, just like his lunch and her Uber. She doesn't have a car so she doesn't have that expense. It counts. Recognize the point of the video is not a race but a day in the life.
I loved this video and some people are acting so childish in the comment section. This video is supposed to showcase a-day-in-the-life not what their whole year is like. It's just looking at what happened to them on that one day. His car factors into it because it put his daily spending into the negatives (meaning, his spending for that day started off in the negatives because he spent money before he could even make money) and they counted his meals and uber because those were added expenses for that day. This video is in no way implying that the girl makes more money than him annually, it's just looking at that one, specific day. And they probably didn't count her food because she probably ate at home. The only thing that should have been counted (because they counted his uber rides) would have been how much money she spent on gas that day, driving from photoshoot to photoshoot.
Yeah, but he didn't pay that expense the day of filming. That would -$250 the day prior, but still a positive $350 the day of. They just wanted to have a good title to bring in views of people expecting a completely different situation. I call that scummy
I really liked this video... while it may not reflect each individual's "average" day, it was an honest and personal look into their lives and their perspectives on money. I'd love to see more every day mini-documentaries like this!
Photograhpy is also very expensive if you want the best of the best ( which people would prefer ).. So i think they should raise the price on it, because video you make quite a bit
This is a very interesting series. Finances aren’t really talked about so learning about how real people manage and mismanage their money can teach young people a lot

Jubilee i like the song the Asian lady was playing on her piano.
Wait... so his car gets towed every day?
Eric Hamers lmao probably
It gets towed "for the first time" every day*.
*insert obligatory asian joke here*
Omg ty. U made my day
Guy is ballin so much he's like, "I'll give the honor to tow my car everyday."

DOLLY AVE this was a nice one, really liked your vibe! 😋
you appear to be a very beautiful person, lookswise but also from the inside!
Are you going to be doing covers of songs on your RUclips channel?
Hello! Yes! Feel free to subscribe to my channel. We have some musical content in the process of being uploaded :D stoked!
DOLLY AVE yes please, we need covers. I really enjoyed hearing your voice
2k a week, 4 weeks in a month, that's 8k a month. That's more than the girl makes. I don't know why they make it seem like he makes less.
that's what i was thinking!!!
He lives in San Francisco bud 110k and below is poverty there the girl is making more money in relation to the guy based on where they live
She lives in Los Angeles which is almost equally as expensive.
He is in SF hes making nothing for where he lives poor dude
The title is really misleading. He only lost $250 because he got towed. He's not gonna be getting towed for $600 everyday.
It's a snapshot ("In a Day") not an average ("Per day").
They explicitly say that multiple times....
You sound like you never tried to par in SF
Yeah and sense even if he did he said it was 90% off
Nick Tokar I know this is late but he also lives in San Francisco
Reminds me of how I sit and code at a computer all day, and while I'm there I can't wait to get home and sit at a computer and do RUclips all night.
Cyranek you matter, meme boy. Do not lose hope :)
cyanek ily
wtf are you doing here champ?
and videogames?
nah videogames are garbage
I don't get how the car being towed gets factored into how much you gain in a day though? 🤔
Loomkoom B. Because life is unexpected so there’s gunna be situations where you lose money 🙄 or gain money ex finding $20 on the floor
they only added it because "Earning $400 vs Earning $350 in a Day" wouldn't sound as good lol
A Male yeah that style of singing is in such short supply, lol
What is that song?
The coder would still make more money in a year
as an intern. :'(
alan kn and probably grow unhappy
alan kn and the girl made more money in less time.
True, but the girl is making money from her dream, while the coder is doing something other than his dream of being a high school teacher.
1) He only made less money because his car got towed, on a normal day he makes almost double what she does
2) He is unhappy because he's got the shit end of software dev.
8k a month for an intern position? Worth
Not when you live in SF and pay 4k a month for rent for that tiny, shitty little apartment.
Also - it doesn't mention if it's 2k a week BEFORE or AFTER taxes.
Make that in someone cheaper to live like Texas and it'll be worth
Sounds great but unfortunately, in San Francisco that is barely enough to stay alive.
You completely are forgetting the guy lives in San Fransisco and the cost of living there is out the roof. Do you even math???
Ron Samba not in Texas it's not. It's cheap. Where do you live?
Thanks for a great day Jubilee! It was great hanging out with John, and the sushi was AMAZING. Didn’t realize my coding face was so frowny lol
this was a great video - I'm up in SF too!
U re awesome man

I might quote this!!
I'm sure he doesn't lose 250 every day because his car needs towing. Clickbait title smh
Love the content but please cut the clickbaits please
well this is youtube :D...
it's in a day not per day dude
Or u just couldnt understand in a day vs per day
Kinda catfish because it’s not like he gets his car towed every day
Sandy Wong u mean click bait
LMFAO

He's not struggling like they tried to make it seem with the boring sad music for him and the upbeat fun music for her. Intern payed 2k a week? INTERN? A FREAKING INTERN?
That's pretty normal in Software Engineering. Two Sigma pays their interns $10,500 a month so yeah...plus free food and stuff
Ruler Most internships are paid, and some are not, it just depends on the person you're interning for.
Ruler Slavery ain't so bad if you get paid 2k a week.
Give me the chains!
Ruler I live in the US and worked on a coworking space in downtown Chicago and even I was like “damnnnnn” lol I guess it’s because he lives in SF.
Also, cost of living is crazy high in most cities on the west coast, so salaries are kind of inflated to meet that
I love this series so much! Really insightful into how people go about their daily lives. Brilliant cinematography and editing. Well put together Jubilee! Keep the series coming please :)

Girl: "So the fun thing about freelancing is that you never know how much you're going to make"
Guy: "How much do you make a month?"
Girl: "Uhm 4 - 5k...
L
Beautiful series! Dolly seems overall more content with life. Beautiful music, too! Keep it up - can't wait for more.
In LA she’s a photographer, editor, RUclipsr, singer, artist and all the above
That’s one lucky boyfriend
This video was so eye opening. They do completely different things, but you can see how money plays a role in their lives in similar/ different ways. I love these videos and this series is truly amazing!!!
Plus her singingggggg🤩
Alo Tiana they get paid the same lol
Matthew Hellman she said in the video that her pay isn’t always consistent. She never knows how much she’ll make, he on the other hand always makes the same amount.
The most import questions here is, where can I buy the calendar?
This is easily one of the most moving videos I've seen in a long time. You have two people on polar ends of the spectrum, different backgrounds, and different mindsets both feeling that they are happy. I think what's most amazing is even Ricky hesitated to say he was happy but immediately answered that money does not buy happiness. Respect to both of these exceptional individuals.
This series are great, keep it up, Jubilee!
Great content guys!
Super interesting, keep it up!
Please make more of these episodes. I really find them inspiring. Subbed!
Please keep making videos like this. We can all learn from them
I love this content! It's well produced, has a story and makes one think about ones own values
this is not realistic at all for any purpose.
YnR Shikyo he probably has roommates. That's very common in SF. A two floor apartment would not be $2.5k a month, that would be a dream.
if he has roommates and he pays so much then its time for a change ...find somewhere else to live....just for this video and all the comments i checked for houses and studios.....literally places with less than 1k$....sometimes if u struggle is good to leave ur comfort and think ahead ...its all for the best.....
These series are so human. Glad I could watch them.
Great series, multiple seasons please!
2k a week!!? That's all that caught my attention in those 11 minutes
DiploMattE i make 1200 a month...doing two jobs and summer school, currently trying to learn how to make money online lol so i can focus on school
Atheastist Vanguard I dont understand why you would feel the need to say that. But ok.
Atheastist Vanguard go trade forex/stocks. I do that, earns me a comfortable income monthly. I make $15k per month
Ted B damn, nice whats the minimum investment, and is there an app or specific website
Most people keep losing because they lack the right attitude to Forex trading
Exactly man
Most people lack the right knowledge to trading and they don't let experts help them trade, they tend to do it on their own knowing fully well they lack the right strategy
@Nicholas Dalton I have lost a lot can you please help me in contacting your trader to trade on my behalf?

I'm so glad Jubilee is tackling money. I know I get wrapped up in it as much as anyone else. It's really interesting to see the way other people live and value and give weight to money. Good job guys! between this and the monopoly, I hope you keep finding ways to show how people feel about money, and make it different and interesting for the internet
This is a good series! Keep it up.
10:29 OK his smile just made my day 😊
what a soulful voice :)
holy shit that singing at the end was so good i need to hear more
DO a lot more of these please! I love this!
Notification gang🎈
Some people are so wound up because he had an early expense and thinks that shouldn't count. Of course it counts. Maybe he only got towed once but maybe it's something that happens a lot because of where he lives. She probably doesn't make $400 day but she did today so it counts, just like his lunch and her Uber. She doesn't have a car so she doesn't have that expense. It counts. Recognize the point of the video is not a race but a day in the life.
Making $10,000,000 VS Losing $127,000,000 in a Day
Winning the lottery VS losing all your money gambling.
What
You can lose any amount if money in gambling
EpicInTheSky PRO yes you can?
great series keep up the good work
Loving this series. Good job Jubilee :)
The next episode should have the person who filmed this, filming while being filmed.
That sounded so complicated until I realised you were just talking about a behind the scenes lol
We just gonna ignore Dolly's ANGELIC voice?!
Her voice is so beautiful!
These videos are awesome! It's cool to see all different career paths!
She should try singing more, her voice is so relaxing
Moral of the story don't live in San Francisco
but thats where all the money is. catch 22
That’s where all the big companies are at though.
I love this series and I think I was particularly interested in this episode because the girl has the same name as I do lol
I LOVE this series! Keep it up!
Man, you guys has a nice skill of editing. Keep the good works!
Please tell me that girl makes videos of her singing because omg her voice
Looks like she does! Dolly Ave? Love it. I need more of her voice tbh.

The link to her music video is in the video description
Photograhpy is also very expensive if you want the best of the best ( which people would prefer ).. So i think they should raise the price on it, because video you make quite a bit
Miss Elizabeth is legit and her method works like magic I keep on earning every single week with her new strategy
I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Elizabeth
She has been handling my account for years now
wow I'm just shock someone mentioned and recommended expert Miss Elizabeth I thought I'm the only one trading with her
you don't need to be shock because I'm also a huge beneficiary of expert miss Elizabeth
She helped me recover what i lost trying to trade for myself
This is the best series on yt after watching the stock trader ep I fell in love. Thanks for making it
Please keep these videos coming!
It sucks how money is looked at smh I used to stress so hard over it. So happy I found happiness in people and not things
Until those people change or abandon you. Meanwhile, this account keeps going up-up-up! /s
*DO YOU KNOW??*
If crypt0 ain't making you rich or you always loosing, you are doing it wrong.
Yeah, there is alot of sense in this.
Crypto is always loose or gain, but you loose less and gain more..
It's more better when you use the help of an experienced person.
When you invest you're buying a day you don't have to work.
Assets that can make you rich:
Gold
St0ck
Crypt0
Real estate.
Very insightful, we all have our own path and it's just great to see the hustle from two different perspectives.
This is a great series!
I wanna know where he lives that it costs 690 bucks when your car gets towed?!

*OMG I LOVE THIS TYPES OF VIDEOS ❤❤❤*
yall gotta keep in mind they included the towing, obviously doesnt happen everyday, and he is just an intern lol
This is a very interesting series.
Finances aren’t really talked about so learning about how real people manage and mismanage their money can teach young people a lot
Awesome serie! Love it!
Should not have counted the -600$ cuz it’s not something that happens constantly he would have made around 300$
