- This has been a very very long time coming. I've teased this project lots over the last few months, especially whilst riding huge jumps, attending Red Bull Hardline and even Red Bull Rampage. But now this project has arrived and it's amazing. Marin Bikes have worked super hard on this prototype big and fun park / downhill bike. And I built it up just in time to come and ride downhill and freeride jump tracks in Queenstown New Zealand! This is my dream MTB bike project because I get the chance to design and work with Marin on this bike, along with new sponsors announced in the video too! Keep the adjustability in the final frame. Everyone wants that
To be able to take it from a shorter steeper park bike to a longer slacker race bike would be good. Yes frames have adjustability currently but not enough to genuinely make a proper difference to how and what it rides
It's Marin, they wont listen unless you have youtube fame apparently.

Mat supper sick bike, just can't get over the glitter effect, if it was gloss grey, super sick, I want to buit a new bike always had narin hardtail, I'm so in awe of ur 2022 bike u used for vantage jam, tha build u talked about the company that will build ur perfect custom build, with the sick barn conversion look, that's the big rig I fancy building, any specs would b greatly appreciated, want to do a mirror build for myself, either that or a Atherton, but always bn a marin guy since 1997

Brands need to make more versatile bikes like this
Why? You have choice which bike you want and on almost every bike 3 or 4 setup positions with couple of degrees to adjust head tube or seat tube angle, long or short wheelbase, etc. Why do you need more? It just adds on complications and price. And if you are racing you know what you want already.
@@mtb24only why not? more choice doesn't hurt, as long as others stay around
@@mtb24only little things make a big difference in addition too different fork and wheel sizes .I ride big jumps and tech which require two completely different bikes thats why they make a bike for different disciplines

That’s a sexy ass bike if I was going to build a bike I would build exactly that … I have a Marin rift zone 2 but the suspension is just a bit too little for my liking maybe will up the suspension to a 140 - 150mm fork😊
