I miss how Lana looked when she first came out. I loved the huge red hair, the heavyly winged eyeliner, her beautiful dresses, the whole Priscilla Prestley vibe. It suited her so well, I wish she still rocked this look. I know she has to evolve, and this look is not really conducive to the NFR era, but shit, she was so stunning during this time! No one does glamour like Lana Del Rey (back in 2011/2012). Her more recent live performances are much improved from this time, but I kinda miss this vulnerable, frightened green version of her. She’s enthralling to watch!
@dracarys now we’re lucky if she wears makeup to shows.. not saying she needs it at all I mean she doesn’t seem to care or put effort in.. I loved her outfits and big hair it’s just so boring to me now. Just my opinion nobody come for me lol
@Torkis Irawan to be fair her recent stuff has also been pretty successful. It has more to do with taste than it does "denial" so it's understandable why some people may not be into her other albums due to her shifting and experiencing another genre.
And till this day she didn't go back 😭 I love her and I love all her albums, old and new. But ohh how I miss this time. I feel like she really felt what she sang. She did her thing, dared to be different. And she feels what she sings but it's more mellow, not as deep dark music nowadays. Love for her she's (hopefully) happier. But these old concert videos are GOLD. And I feel so nostalgic and miss these days, I wish I had the chance to see her live back then!
0:35 Blue Jeans 4:55 Body Electric 9:24 Born To Die 13:33 Million Dollar Man 18:38 Summertime Sadness 22:42 Video Games 27:33 National Anthem --- Lana was just really majestic, she sounded and looked so wonderful. The band as well was really great. Great crowd!
@@tonyjarrett9140 it really does, I cried 🥺it's like she can't wait to go and meet them, and dives head first with kisses and smiles. It's so beautiful...
And I thought Body Electric was my favorite from this set, but wow- Million Dollar Man was phenomenal. This really is Lana at her prime. The nerves pushed her to an amazing performance.
It's 2020, and I'm watching this, almost crying. It's 2020 and Lana's art is still relevant and fascinating more than anything. I love Lana so much. she will always be a part of my soul.
I wonder if people realize that when you actually sing, you rely on yourself. It's normal to be nervous. What you're hearing is all her. Sorry the idiots you listen to parade around stage half naked and lip sync. Why would be nervous? They don't have any talent to prove. They rely on a track, and their distracting outfits to get through their shows. Lana has genuine, God given talent. The people who think otherwise are the ones who like generic pop artists who lip sync.
But I heard her one performance on SNL that wasn't perfect so she must be terrible.... Oh wait a second, never mind. I have a mind of my own. I forgot. This performance was phenomenal.
I can't understand how can somebody say that she can't sing. Whole performance was perfect and this was to years ago. Now she is even more perfect. Part from 26:40 till end was so perfect and now I can really die in peace..love you Lana
Hey Lana, this is the future, in eleven year's time you will be playing solo sold out stadium shows . Your output will be prolific, releasing 9 critically acclaimed albums and you will even write a poetry book. You 'll be widely acknowledged as one of the greatest contemporary singer songwriters of the past decade and will win Billboard's Visionary Award at the tender age of 37. Thank you for everything!
She did very well considering she was so terribly nervous, amazing songwriter, singer and beautiful. People that are slating her need to realise she's a songwriter more than a singer, of course she can sing but songwriting is her main talent :)
I love how brave she is and she's not afraid to try different methods of singing every time she performs. Also, I love how she doesn't have to dress completely slutty to seduce her audience! her voice itself seduces the audience enough.
Oh my god, the way she just ran to the crowd at the end like they were all old friends with that big warm smile...that was so sweet, I teared up. I love her so much. Beautiful performance. Million Dollar Man was fucking amazing, my favorite out of all of them.
This woman is sensational. I think I have gotten almost everyone I know to listen to her. The one thing I want is to see her live, and to get just ONE photo with her. She is amazing and I love her.
This version of Summertime Sadness is so much better than the album version. The jazzier, more piano forwards sound gives the track a vintage vibe that the album version doesn't have.
I think some singers are made for the studio or the studio is made for them and some can be great doing live while others dont do well with audiences. I think she has the most unusual, sultry voice Ive heard but - it seems she has to be in a studio to really capture the essence. Ive seen some of her performances on RUclips and some are good and some okay - but I have also seen a lot of other musicians not have a good day on stage.Sometimes its the presence that takes the fans and not so much the music each time. But Im a big big fan and think her music and videos are out of this world!!!
Yeah, but you have to remember that in the studio you have a million takes. Most people with a decent singing voice could make a nice sounding song if they have a good producer. The question is, if you can only sing in a studio are you really all that talented? I still like her. Maybe she can sing well live without the huge audience.
Lydia Ring If we're being fair though, Lana's newest album, "Ultraviolence" was recorded live with her singing straight through with a 4-piece band behind her. No other artist has the talent or the authenticity to record an entire album live with minimal editing like Lana does. However, her BTD album isn't song live as well as it should be, because she did in fact have a lot of takes to record that album. Performances of her newer material are far more impressive.
I just saw this whole performance while high, the best thing ever. I love here and I’m so lucky to be alive as the same time as her I hope as an artist one day I can meet her and we can collaborate.
you're all nuts. This girl is an enigma of pure new brilliance, breaking bounds with real style. This isn't pop this is a bad ass lounge singer. Stop with the cookie cutter thinking YALL.
She can sing, but she sometimes messes up some vocals because she's shy. I wouldn't blame her like, there's thousands of people watching her😂 She did a great job anyways
I cannot explain how much I miss this glamorous, dark, jazzy Lana 😭
She still has it by she choose to not present it I’m sure
I agree. The newer stuff has no flow overall.
yeeeeah 😭 (but i’m happy for her bc now she’s happy
But we’d be missing all her last stuff which is brilliant as well
I miss her so much, too.
Lizzy Grant literally stared me dead in the eye
+Sindri Pindri love your profile picture lol what a blond
+Mart Charman hahah, thank you! :) It's an old picture, though

This is what I’ve been trying to say but it always came out wrong lol

Thank you!
Why do I always feel like I'm going to cry when I see lana?lol
She has so many levels in her voice it's amazing
16:20 When the guitarist is smiling approvingly to himself and to the others backstage, you know he'd have stories to tell when he's old.
she's so kind with her fans ):
Makes you all fuzzy inside, doesn't it?

that "One two one one one,one two ,two two two" aww
the ending was the sweetest thing ever.
MILLION DOLLAR MAN LIVE IM ABOUT TO PUNCH SOMEONE IT SOUNDS SO GOOD I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF THIS GODLY SONG
I like how her voice grows more confident as the set goes on. Her voice is intoxicating...
And I thought Body Electric was my favorite from this set, but wow- Million Dollar Man was phenomenal. This really is Lana at her prime. The nerves pushed her to an amazing performance.

It’s 2024 now
Mine too.
Is it me or did she just do the best rendition of Million Dollar Man she's ever done?
If you like the noise of a bellowing cow
no watch the eurockeenes one idk how to spell that one but like the white dress one is like rlly good i love that
The i tunes festival one is my favourite. The entire performance is legendary ngl
It’s the best and another one when she’s wearing a white dress.
@@howtodisappear.ya I was just saying that one with the white dress is my favorite!!! She hit that note so fuccin good!!!
..& people say that she can't sing,lol.
14:17 this girl has an eargasm and could not contain facial expression haha
I'm here
"She's very very shy"
The worst way to introduce a shy person :')
I think Jameela had one too many bevs before that 🤣
shes so dumb
She is shy though.
i want to cry shes everyting, i will always come back to this performance, lanita
she is pure art! love her. Love the way she act when she sings. She is just amaizing!!! Love you Lana
I think she sounds amazing live...

She was so dramatic and I love that 😍
That National Anthem outro though !!!!!!! This woman is so perfect, also I'm not sure what she's waiting for to release a live album!
+Mauricio Gómez That outro is heaven.
She would do great with some of those James Bond movie songs! She needs something though.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing esp with Skyfall...
Yeah she does. Me.
She was the first in line for it, then last second they give it unofficially to Sam Smith. Totally a idiot move!
Why are so many people slagging her off? You can see how lovely she is and how she actually cares about her fans unlike a lot of other artists
They were proved WRONG
holy shit million dollar man was INSANE
petition for bbc to freakin upload this performance in HQ! we NEED this
She is so sweet to her fans
her high notes are Amazing!!!!!
But I heard her one performance on SNL that wasn't perfect so she must be terrible....
Oh wait a second, never mind. I have a mind of my own. I forgot. This performance was phenomenal.
I love how Lana kisses her fans on the lips
Lana, heaven is a place in earth with you ♥
Her live performances are so painfully emotional... I get shivers and tears in my eyes when i listen to her singing live...
My god I fall more in love with her each day
23:23 How she said "honey"
she is so sweet !!!! I like the connection she has with her fans!Love you Lana !
That 'Oooooooo' she does in Blue Jeans is brilliant! Gives me chills. She is so wickedly talented.
Oh my god! That raspy high note she sings in Million Dollar Man for the "one for the money" line is insane!!!
I can't understand how can somebody say that she can't sing. Whole performance was perfect and this was to years ago. Now she is even more perfect. Part from 26:40 till end was so perfect and now I can really die in peace..love you Lana
Wow... This show gave me chills, and I wasn't even there. Like, there are literal goosebumps on my arms

She doesn't sound perfect but when she sings I can feel her feelings and the power of her words and that's what music is for.
babe don be shy....ur queen
I love how brave she is and she's not afraid to try different methods of singing every time she performs. Also, I love how she doesn't have to dress completely slutty to seduce her audience! her voice itself seduces the audience enough.
you can tell she gets more relaxed towards the end, her Video Games performance is so good. I love you Lana.
She looks like a princess of Britain.😍🥰😘
I keep repeating Million Dollar Man over and over again. It's one of the Best!
Love her when she runs to the crowd ♥♥♥
Oh my god, the way she just ran to the crowd at the end like they were all old friends with that big warm smile...that was so sweet, I teared up. I love her so much. Beautiful performance. Million Dollar Man was fucking amazing, my favorite out of all of them.
She sang Blue jeans with more than 5 diffrent voices WOW
This woman is sensational. I think I have gotten almost everyone I know to listen to her. The one thing I want is to see her live, and to get just ONE photo with her. She is amazing and I love her.
I’ll die for her
Lana seems so distant yet so well connected with the crowd, it's the perfect mix for her type of music and songwriting. Beautiful performance.
This version of Summertime Sadness is so much better than the album version. The jazzier, more piano forwards sound gives the track a vintage vibe that the album version doesn't have.
Oh my gosh I replayed it like 8 times. I couldn't get enough of her voice during that raspy part

she is actually good she just needs more and more experiences on huge audiences. Besides her band is fantastic
Yes, she seems to connect with each member of her audiences personally. Just LOVE this performance of "Million Dollar Man".
you're all nuts. This girl is an enigma of pure new brilliance, breaking bounds with real style. This isn't pop this is a bad ass lounge singer. Stop with the cookie cutter thinking YALL.

It's his way of singing live, and many more ability it gives the now ...
Actually, i like it when this happens. Because it's just lana and lana has flaws like everyone, it just makes her unperfect perfect.
OH MY GOD THIS WAS THE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE
