I got just one 140 recently, and won’t be recording guitar for a few days(I don’t play guitar - I know, don’t dis me), so I threw it on as a vocal mic, and I was floored. This mic is practically magic! Now, being a small diaphragm condenser, it’s more sensitive to moving around, but, wow, this is a terrific sounding mic. Clean, precise, rich, rich sound. At $160, it’s a crazy value. Lewitt should be very proud of this mic. I predict these mics will become an industry standard. I am definitely gonna be getting their vocal mic

I know we all use LDC's on lead vocals because "that's what you're supposed to do", but I think SDC's sound great on vocals. I have been using Shure Beta 87s live for a while now, and they sound great!
And they said the power trio was a thing of the past!! Well now it's back with a vengence. Love it guys, especially with the air mix bringing a little extra sizzle to the outstanding performances. Oh and by the way, The Little Popscreens is a perfect bandname..;-)
Good Gawd! I browsed to this clip to check out the 140’s and within 3 minutes my eyes are welling up, tears eminent, fully immersed in this poignant song…..I mean, it’s just destroying me with its unabashed plea “tell me what’s goin’ on with you”……whew! Powerful! Of course this is the best of all ways to demo mic’s but hey, this music would deliver through the $15 Monarchs we used to buy in ‘65 at the electronics store for our sock hop bands…. Seriously, the mics sound soooo much better than they have a right to….even on vocals…..in both modes….thanks for all you do and for the emo workout this morning……
Great sounding mics. The "Air" setting is a little "zizzy" on my very critical monitors, but sound lovely in "Flat" setting. Lovely musicianship, too :-)
Absolutely love those mics. I already use 2 Lewitt 240 LCT Pros. I love them, I use them as Vocal, Acoustic Guitar, and as Room mics. Was actually checking out the Lewitt Matched Pair of LCT 040 Microphones to add to the studio but I might have to break the bank. I have been a fan of Lewitt for 3+ years when I discovered the 240 LCT. I would put it up against the RE20. As you said from the beginning practically zero noise even when peaking. That is when I discovered using them as room mics, they are so clean and clear.
Iliterally a few hours ago ordered this pair from Thomann! Thank you for confirming my choice! There will be soooo great acoustic sessions for my folk and medieval music projects

Great song and great all around performances, a good listen on a rainy afternoon here in the US midwest, really enjoyed it! The mics are very natural sounding. Might be good for solo guitar as well.
i love the fact you advocate LOW COST gear ...as it also stands that great deal of your audience are trying to make music on a shoestring budget ...its very important for me to have gear that is serviceable - but affordable
