Houses are regularly built out of square with subfloor not in the space between the rim joist and the bottom plate in places and hanging over in others by half inch or so. Its normal and doesnt do anything other than require shims here and there to even the siding

Actually I did not replace the rim joist. Just the pony wall below. I would never use that subfloor if I had a choice! And for those of you who are seeing this twice, Sorry about that. I had to repost as a music track I included was copyrighted.

Isn't this kind of a superficial fix though? I am dealing with this in my master bathroom which I've demo'd down to its wall studs and joists. I am going to install subfloors but I noticed that in a couple of places where the wall's bottom stud framing meets the old subfloors it has rotted due to water damage. It looks like in your video but worse in some places.
Now the point is I am not looking for a cosmetic fix, I need structural support. After cutting out and drilling out all the rot, I was thinking I could put some structural epoxy with sand mixed in there or even some pure lumber for support. I am not sure I trust epoxy for structural support though even though some of them claim 4,000 + psi.

I have two other videos that should address your issue. Maybe send a photo if you still need help.
