Only a few people. Maybe 10 at the most, including the people hired. My friend started doing photography, and we had her take a few pictures. Not many, and she cut us a deal. My husbands friend, is certified in marrying people. So we hired him. We went to the grotto for our wedding which is free. But you can get a guided tour for a donation. It’s available at night too. We stayed at this mom and pop motel across the street from it. Which wasn’t expensive. My grandparents who passed away loved the grotto. So that was my way of having them be apart of my wedding. Everything we did, had a sentimental reason behind it. My wedding ring, is my grandmas wedding ring. So he didn’t even have to buy me a ring and it’s the best ring a girl could ask for. It was grandmas. Our wedding and honeymoon didn’t cost that much. And it’s the best and most memorable thing that could’ve happened.

I do not know these people but something in their body language in past videos made me think there was some hesitating and you are right people use money as a “crutch” because where there is a will there is a way. She is kind of forced to accept not marrying and taking the time unless she takes the hard decision to stop the relationship as it is now. Not force but compromise is key to relationships, and there are middle grounds where e.g. one can get married but agree to continue studying, not have kids until a certain time etc.
One, there are a ton of financial benefits for married couples. Including taxes. Two, weddings ARE very expensive but you don't have to have one. Go to a courthouse and get just the wedding certificate. Three, there is a 50% chance you will divorce. Get a prenuptial agreement.
