I have only been a subscriber to your videos for a short time, but I found this video to be one of the best I have yet come across speaking to the realities of retirement planning, a basic truth about media and news, etc. and it was all done in a very down to Earth, warm, and welcoming style. It exemplifies precisely why I signed up for your videos. Keep up the great work, your efforts are most appreciated.
I love my country Mexico and I believe that there are many american people that are so human, so kindless, so friendly and peacefull... that people are welcoming un México...
Thank you for realizing not all United States people are all selfish and self serving. Some of us still love humankind just because it is right and it is good.God bless you . God bless Mexico.
I've lived in America for a long time , the most people are friendly and very kind . I believe that in all countries there are good and bad people . I love Mexico and I also love USA . All my friends are American and they're so nice .
In Texas, Veterans who have disability ratings, have reductions in their property taxes. Veterans with a 100 percent rating do not pay taxes on their homesteads. There are also reductions for homesteads and being over 65.
Thats my plan to retire in México too , you're absolutely right in regards of the country social class , there's plenty of room for any social class to adapt in México , in regards of delinquency I been assaulted 3 times here in Texas something that I never experienced in México, long story short I want my descendants to learn more about my culture , principles and about our beautiful history and to leave in peace without being discriminated.
That one idea ... that it would be possible to live without discrimination is the most important thing you could pass on. I fear that too many places in the world no longer offer that as a possibility. Mexico and Mexicans still seem very willing to be the melting pot of the world. I believe it will serve the future of Mexico well to be a place that welcomes diversity.
You remind me of my Dad so much!! I loved him with all of my heart and as you folks will need care in your later years.. I volunteer my services..lol. You are an honest man and I find I could sit and listen to your stories all day long. My best to Lynn. )
Well, I'm glad I get to weigh in on THIS conversation! Thank you for your kind offer and your kind words about my rambling, Linda. I always assume the best of people ... others always assume the worst. LIfe is like a mirror ... you pretty much get back at you just what you are. As for any potential jeopardy from being scammed for my old guy money ... two problems for those who think that might happen ... First I ain't got enough to make it worth while, and second .... go watch my video about Scams in Mexico. Just cause we're old, doesn't mean we're slow. LOL! Thanks Linda!
JC, as usual I enjoy listening to "what's on your mind today"!!! I'm ready to leave the cold and finally enjoy life. The problem I'm having is covincing my husband that Mexico is a wonderful place to live. I'll continue sharing your videos with him. Thanks for listening. Enjoy your rv trip.
Thanks Roxanne! Take hubby on a short vacation to Mexico ... not a beach or tourist area. Ajijic or San Miguel. Don't sell it as a search for a new place to live, just an interesting place to visit. That may plant seed that can grow into more acceptance of the idea. If not .... a good spouse is more important than a wonderful place to live. Value what you have. :)

Jerry you're right...there are places in the US and Mexico where I would not live. I have read enough. I really want to move to Mexico, but I'm still doing my homework and will make a decision soon.
yes, planning on hiring an in house helper when i get o the point of needing one..hopefully not...got a few years to go before i'll be needing anything but you never know..have given it much thought though..like to be prepared..excellent video JC...thanks
I am little jealous. I am American of Mexican parents with family in Mexico and I haven't had the courage to just move even though it is constantly on my mind. I love every minute of being there when I am able to go visit and don't want to leave. It took a lot of courage to do what you did and I feel that you are living a good life and I am stuck here lol. I watch your videos to see if I get the courage to make it happen. Thanks for all the info and taking the time to inform.
LIfe's too short to be stuck if you have a choice. You've got experience, family, and desire ... MOVE! Visiting the US from a home in Mexico, is much better than visiting Mexico from a home in the US. :)
ciao... I have friends who almost got covered in lava during Kilauea eruption... they are now in Mexico.. Yelapa checking out coastal areas.. thank you for your insights....hasta la vista🎯
Thanks so much for having having the courage to discuss such a serious topic that addresses so many of my concerns that many youtube RV folks/folks in general don't seem to address or have appropriate answers for me anyways...probably because so many of them are young enough to be a grandkid lol. I do have a couple of questions and forgive me if you have covered them already, or prefer not to address because of mean people: #1: Do you recommend getting a temporary visa or a permanent (resident) visa for Mexico? #2, Do you keep your Medicare going or not? As a independent female and retired RN....but not wealthy by any means, my really only fear in life has always been to be in a nursing home where I am restricted on simple things.. such as what I like to eat, am I warm enough, and being at the mercy of a kind, compassionate peoples, or... someone who hates their job and had a bad night the night before coming to work at a job they dislike? (institution help is a very mixed bag these days in the US) I do not have the funds for in home care here, maybe not in Mexico either. But...having lived in Az for 3 yrs, I have seen the love the Mexican people have for family and others in general, and their hard working ethics. (though I am still getting used to manana) Over all, I think they got it right in life, and would trust them to to care for me. Thank you for everything you do. I consider you a sort of guru for this ole lady, as I am sure others following you that is in my shoes :) Happy belated birthday, to both you and your wife. I love your stories.
You can come and go in Mexico on a tourist visa 180 days at a time. You can get a temporay residence visa for up to 4 years, and/or you can get a permanent residence visa. My recommendation is always to try it out first as a traveler ... you can figure out if its for you in 180 days. Also, the temporal and permanente residence visas have financial requirements and cost money to get, too. We keep our medicare and a supplement because we travel in the US and our Mexican insurance does not cover us outside of Mexico. Given what I've been told, and what I've witnessed, I would much prefer to be taken care of by a Mexican nurse than a US nursing home nurse. I guess you could run into the mixed bag of care anywhere, but I'd think it less likely in Mexico. In all of healthcare, Mexico still seems to be about patient needs and not about insurance regs and corporate profitability.
Thank you so much for your thoughful and helpful responce, JC. I really appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions. You are having a profound effect on my future decisions for my life.😁😁😁
Sue... In México I have the pleasure to grow old iam 53 years old and I love the way people is looking at me with more and more respect each day.. I love it. In México old people is protect it by any Mexican who witness unjust to an older person.. Be sure of that and as I get older my white hair is a extra value to me... Wellcome
Thank you JC. Learning much from you. I am a nurse, semi-retired, and you are correct re: patient care vs. ins. co regs and yes, PROFIT. smhhh. (born in 61') Be safe and have a ball ! :)
I moved to Los Angeles for the Sunshine and great weather from Chicago! That was 25 years ago and now it is so crowded here and traffic is the worst in the country and they tax and regulate too much. Things are so expensive and I don't want to get old here! Truly weighing the options!
Hey! Happy belated! When was it? That crappy weather looks like WI ;) My plan is to buy your Monaco when the time comes and park it over in Roca Azul ;) So keep the fluids up!! :D
Well, if not for those 500 situps and 1000 pushups you do every morning, I might have a shot sooner than later.Your years away from hanging up the keys, but I'll bide my time :D
Rubbing it in, are we? LOL! OH ... that would be an American expression. Do you understand American? No, not Americans ... nobody understands them ... American idiomatic expressions ... no not expressions of idiots ... never mind. :)
The problem with people is they don't that every country has good and bad. I traveled to Egypt even when I was told being unsafe.. it's beautiful and I was amazed at how people made me feel so welcomed
that was funny (c16:30 - phone call)! made me laugh out loud. thanks for the suggestion and the offer. sounds like you've got it goin' on, as we say. muy bueno.
Hi Jerry. Really like your videos!! I have always been fascinated with Mexico. Your first hand observations and experience have made me rethink the way see it. Thanks . Vince from Florida
This is so wise!!!!!!!!!! And the care will be fabulous I'm sure ! And to be able.to live in your home is the best in my opinion! I plan to do this for sure.
You made the best decision. Especially choosing a tropical latitude, however being at a considerable altitude. Gosh. You have San Diego, CA weather without the winter. Cheers!
"A country that already knows how to be poor", wow, what a concept. The United States couldn't pass that test. Thank you for that thought. I really like it.
America is a poor society but doesn't know it. There are different kinds of poverty, not just economic. If you allow yourself to step out of the rat race, you will know what I am talking about.
I have been watching your videos for weeks now. Thank you for making them. That is a very good plan. I will steal the idea from you, if you don't mind :)
Enjoyed the video! I know that it is not your topic of choice, but you might consider mentioning in a video sometime... the benefits of "minimalism" (aka: living below one's means) BEFORE retirement, as being helpful for insuring that one will actually be able to retire. Most people spend their next paycheck before payday arrives, and a Savings Account is a "bad word". 🙂
I did a 30 minute video of that nearly 3 years ago and never posted it. Its still on a hard drive somewhere. In reviewing it I decided it seemed ingenuous to declare myself a believer in minimalism while sitting in a lake front house with 5 bathrooms. In my heart I am in fact a van dweller, a minimalist, and happier in my motor home than in my hacienda. Maybe I'll dig that video out. Might be time it sees the light of day and I let it slip who I really am in spirit.
Their are plenty of videos on you tube about minimalism. But like anything else, the audience has to be listening. The holidays approach and how many will overspend? But the idea of cutting back, no way. Or figuring out what is a need and what is a want. They blame everyone but themselves. Need the most expensive tv, phone or car? You can do it and sleep easier at night not worrying about some debt.
@@JCTravelStories, Yeah, I get it. Moreover, I live it. I have learned via the "old school" method, to manage our money wisely, to be happy with what we have (as opposed to always wanting future items, as seems to be the current social trend) and to invest in things that cause our savings to grow. I think it is sad to see so many retired people today, who's lifestyle is determined by Social Security benefits, and charactorized by "forced" penny-pinching, because their financial education started after their retirements began. You are in a position to offer some learned wisdom, along with your usual content. Just a dab here and there perhaps, to see what kind of feedback you get. Feel free to use the third party approach.. "Marshall, from MD USA, writes to ask for some helpful tips on how to save for retirement, so that he and his wife will be able to retire comfortably in Mexico one day." Just a suggestion. I am a very good judge of character, and you, sir, are one with a heart to help others, and a mind capable of doing so without offending your audience. I wouldn't ask, if there wasn't such a growing problem, regarding this subject. Best regards, Marshall
We go to the Blythe Bluegrass Festival each year and of course visit Quartzite and Beer Belly’s , the adult day care center, regularly! We travel in our ‘93 Monaco Crown Royale. You missed the traffic of the RV show! We have a lot in Lake Klamath area We need to share stories...I’m retired music teacher, blew my knees out playing hard court tennis and we also experienced an engine fire in our previous ‘37 ft Monaco leaving Lake Havasu bound for Kingman, AZ. Also studied philosophy, so love the wisdom! “Follow your bliss”. Stay vertical, my amigo!
I stumbled across your channel a few days ago and am hooked. My husband and I are 65 and newly retired. I love the idea of retiring to Mexico. We cruise, that is how we travel as of now, but want to try staying in new areas to us for longer lengths of time. We are thinking of renting an RV to give it a try. Thankyou for all your information, I have been binge watching...………….:) Keep these videos coming!! FYI What a small world it is...….the limo accident you spoke of was just south of where we live. Have actually used them as a shuttle to NYC to board some of our cruises
Another very eloquent assessment JC. Thank you for this great overall prep thinking few of us are aware of - This reality is what makes life by design a reality. You traded the potholes for speed bumps 😁
@@JCTravelStories witnessing the depth of your personal thaughts I am sure you've delt with the meaning and the purpose of life in general or how to live life purposely.... brilliant at any rate! Txs compa
Another great story sir with lots of useful information. Your show more than any other has been helpful in regards to moving to mexico when I retire. I live in the pacific northwest now and understand the comment about the weather. I hope to buy myself a small place and retire somewhere down there. I imagine I will be renting for some time. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks. Hello to your beautiful Wife with the lovely smile.
Yup. That accident happened about 10 miles from where I live. I keep watching your videos, looking for inspiration to sell the farm. Actually, your vids are quite inspirational. It takes a lot of effort to unload what took a lifetime to acquire. Most of all, I've learned to dislike the cold. Was thinking I might just try a winter down there, see how I like it. I know I enjoy watching a lot of utube vids about Mexico. Yours are my favorite. Thx.
I doubt if I will ever move and retire there, but it is interesting to hear you talk about Mexico, and for that matter, about other of your life experiences. You are a good story teller! Thank you and best wishes PS "Mexico, a country that already knows how to be poor" A statement to ponder, with many meanings and implications some of us cannot imagine.
As a single mom/ divorced mom..I have lived poor all my life..My son happy to say has a Masters and a good job with NASA (his dream) and mine I'm so proud of him..But now I'm on my own and I would love to live in Mexico, living poor is no problema..just my language skills lol
Thanks Jerry. Second time I watched this video. I'm been visiting Mexico my entire life and will move there when I sell my Huge house. I like your style!!!
Your funny , enjoying your videos. Thank you for mentioning me and my Lexus and potti tent . Still traveling, miss you all. Hope someday to see you and your wife again. Take care
I like your exit plan and hope to have a home in Mexico myself soon. But, the current conditions have extended my work and delayed my move until next year. It's probably for the best. Enjoy all your videos. Just don't forget the dog content and give Lynn a hug. Thanks for sharing

Hello from Eugene, Or. This is one of the best video's I heard yet, from you. You are so candid, and I really appreciate that. I think you have a very solid plan!! I am seriously considering doing the same thing. Just haven't shared the idea with my kids yet. But, because of your, and other Mexico travelers, I am getting closer to sharing that info with my family. Thank you Jerry.
This was a great video. You have a really good plan too. That's a really great plan about the extra space for live-in help. I am considering moving to Mexico (Chapala, Ajijic or maybe San Miguel de Allende) and am trying to get a lot of major questions answered before I even go down for a visit. I have 2 cats that I adore - and they must stay strictly inside. I understand there isn't air con and it is definitely indoor / outdoor living. Do rentals there generally have screened windows available? Or, do they have any sashed or slatted / vented (don't know what you call them - those Florida style ones) windows where I could control how far the window is open? Or any I've looked at the bars on a lot of the windows and my cats would be able to wriggle through most of those (because I saw a dog poke his head through one in a video on another channel!). Thanks so much!
We've been cat people all our lives. Cats we've had who were strictly inside cats refused to go outside even if encouraged. You may find anything in rentals, but most houses are screened because of mosquitoes. There is no air conditioning in the places you list because the temperature never makes it necessary. Your cats will find it very comfortable weather wise.
JC Travel Stories Hi JC. That's awesome that you love cats too. 😻 Well, I have one cat, who I'M SURE would absolutely go wild, if he were allowed to go outdoors! He actually may be partly wild (vets think he might have a little bengal in him - that hybrid cat thing). Oh, that's great about the screens! I was thinking there weren't many - but I did really wonder about mosquitoes - which LOVE me! ha! Sounds awesome on the weather! Thanks so much, JC! 💞
Shilow Dawn Oh, just thinking because I said he was "wild"? Is that it? Well, rest assured, he is just a (somewhat) normal, brown, tabby - who may have a little, tiny bit of bengal in him. Not to be confused with a Bengal tiger! ha. But a Bengal, domestic, hybrid cat (and that's only possibly, since he is a rescue, I don't know his heritage). He is extremely loved, gets safe outdoor time (in a patio enclosure) and gets lots of play time and has other kitties to play with. He hardly needs to be re-homed. ✌🏼
I bought a new harley on my 60th birthday and left flint Michigan and rode it down to tampa Florida to my daughters and everyone said i was crazy and it was so nice riding there threw the Tennessee mt
I was born and raised in the US. When you ere young and working the US is a great place to live. When you are older and look to retirement I don't think it is senior friendly if you are not wealthy or high middle class. I have been staying longer periods in Mexico and I am finding that I love it. You do have to make some adjustments but once you do I think those trade-offs are well worth it. There is so much beauty and so many places to see.
@@JCTravelStories Have you been to Patzcuaro? I am going from the 1 to the 2nd of November for day of the dead. I was there last year and it was so amazing. My friends saw my photos and videos and 4 of us are going. We got an airbnb for 6 people so we have room for two more. I am looking for someone who wants to go and experience something really incredible. I think it is something you have to experience once in a lifetime. From there we go to Uruapan for two days. I have family and we have free room and board there as well for two. If you would like to go let me know.
@@JCTravelStories Hmmmm….only a few hours from good snorkeling? I have done about 35 snorkels, so pretty high standards. Insights into location so I can Google? TIA
I'm not a snorkeler so maybe I'm not a good source. I think the Caribbean is probably much better for snorkeling than the Pacific in Mexico. We go for the air, the beach, the crashing waves, the restaurants, a change of pace, time traveling with friends.
Great video, as usual JC. It's Mark (of Mark and Elizabeth fame). We took you to lunch when we were in Ajijic in June. We are now in Guanajuato and were in San Miguel de Allende. I share your same views regarding minimalism and having an exit strategy. Like you, one of the big draws for us regarding Mexico is the climate and the friendlyness of the people, not to mention the affordability. Have a fun and safe return to your home in Ajijic.
Hi Mark and Elizabeth! Glad you're enjoying your tour of possible places to relocate. We'll be back in Ajijic in March. Heard the lake is higher than its been for 30 years.
I hear you. I moved to Blythe, California, in the Sonoran Desert in '69 from San Diego for the sunshine. And, believe me, we get sunshine here. Blythe is ~almost~ Mexico.
LOL! We have been rving fulltime for 9 years. 6 in a 35' class A and the last three in our 21' Roadtrek. Been to Mexico once just inside the border to shop. Once 30+ years ago in Cancun. Would not know where to start moving to Mexico and renting. Nice video thanks for sharing your knowledge. Sunshine & health brought me to Florida. Just found your channel.
I’m a subscriber, I’d have been following you for some time. You are awesome. I presently live in Chicago , I work for the city. I plan to retire in a couple a years. I am a native of Mexico. Watching your videos gives me the right motivation to come back to my homeland, I already own a home, ‘‘tis year I invested more than $25,000 dlrs And I plan to expand even more. You have a beautiful home so cozy, wth an excellent view of the lake. Congratulations, you do inspire me to make the right move. Keep it going!!!!
JC Travel Stories yes I will. I recently got my kitchen done, I installed granite countertops the thickness of it is the double size of the ones the install in the US. I can wait to move back. Again, you are an inspiration
Oh how I wish I had known about Ajijic ten years ago! I had some money then, and was a lot more agile. Thank you for discussing (what I feel I am facing alone) the monumental decision to 'hang up the keys'. I have spent some time in Mexico, and loved the people and their strong family values. I will follow your Journaling with great interest.
I'm still pretty young, but I already gave up my keys because once both my truck and Montana 5th wheel (which I don't use anymore) are sold, I won't be buying another vehicle. Don't need one here in Mexico City or any other country I've traveled. Less is definitely more.
Brian, you make a good point. We have a large home and we can have household help stay with us. Our Realestate taxes are nothing because I am 100 percent disabled. That is cheap. Thanks for sharing.
Jim Claire Hello Mr. Claire, Would you mind sharing more about how being 100% disabled allows you to not pay any property taxes...? I ask because I’m a Veteran who is 100% disabled, living in Indiana and have never heard of this benefit before... Thank you for any help and insight you might be able to provide. Have a great day and be blessed.
I liked this video very much, thanks. Your words of wisdom on how Mexicans still have that family oriented living remind me of how my island was. Puerto Rico used to be like that and in some cities it still is. The metro area is very different. No one knows or cares about anyone. It’s a race to see who has the largest most expensive house, car, boat...etc. In many way like the US.
One of the problems with Puerto Rico is that it IS the US .... until there's a hurricane and then its treated poorly like a cousin on the wrong side of the family. Shameful.
Your an inspiration. Hope to retire in the next 5 yrs. have always thought on moving to Mexico and have Traveled all over it. in my early 20s. Thanks a million.
Nice plan, Jerry. Good to see that you are ready... Good point about having adequate space to have live in help when needed. Good information and ideas.

Not your challenge. Rather, her challenge. "Well Sweetie, you can take as much clothing with us as you care to... provided that it all fits in the motorhome closet and drawer space." (Of course, you may wish to push for a comittment, before she sees the actual motorhome closet.) 😃
Your right when I go to my parents town villa corona it feels tropical it's so green and lay back planning my retirement in the near future but I don't miss the mosquitos 😁
Man, I know what you mean about Oregon's weather . I lived on the coast for too long . Yes it's beautiful, but wet (on the west side), most of the year .

I do have a couple of questions and forgive me if you have covered them already, or prefer not to address because of mean people:
#1: Do you recommend getting a temporary visa or a permanent (resident) visa for Mexico?
@@JCTravelStories Is it ever advisable to become a mexican citizen once i try and will most likely enjoy retiring in Mexico?
Thank you so much for your thoughful and helpful responce, JC. I really appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions. You are having a profound effect on my future decisions for my life.😁😁😁
Sue... In México I have the pleasure to grow old iam 53 years old and I love the way people is looking at me with more and more respect each day.. I love it. In México old people is protect it by any Mexican who witness unjust to an older person.. Be sure of that and as I get older my white hair is a extra value to me... Wellcome
Thank you JC. Learning much from you.

ins. co regs and yes, PROFIT. smhhh. (born in 61')
Be safe and have a ball ! :)
I moved to Los Angeles for the Sunshine and great weather from Chicago! That was 25 years ago and now it is so crowded here and traffic is the worst in the country and they tax and regulate too much. Things are so expensive and I don't want to get old here! Truly weighing the options!
Weigh away. Good. :)
JC you're an hombre muy muy bueno señor, I enjoy watching your videos. Que tengas un buen dia. Y saludos All the way from Maui Hawaii.
Gracias amigo. Cuidado con el volcán.
Hey! Happy belated! When was it? That crappy weather looks like WI ;) My plan is to buy your Monaco when the time comes and park it over in Roca Azul ;) So keep the fluids up!! :D
Got a price in mind? I'll deliver it.
Well, if not for those 500 situps and 1000 pushups you do every morning, I might have a shot sooner than later.Your years away from hanging up the keys, but I'll bide my time :D
Lovely sunshine today in England.
Rubbing it in, are we? LOL! OH ... that would be an American expression. Do you understand American? No, not Americans ... nobody understands them ... American idiomatic expressions ... no not expressions of idiots ... never mind. :)
Yes... 'rubbing it in' is also an English expression... 'we' did invent the language!! HAHAHA!!!!
Thank you for choosing Mexico 🇲🇽 to be your home 🏡 I from dear I love ❤️ Mexico and I live and Dallas for now
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to convince my other half that the time is now for us and we too will be making the move hopefully soon.
Sounds like a plan! Enjoyed it today.
North Carolina cloudy and cold in the winter , i ll go to mexico one day
I moved from Portland to Phoenix for the sun! But now we are tired of the intense heat so we are retiring in Ajijic in March!
Finally, you'll get year around weather you'll love. :)
J.C. You have really thought this through. I definitely won’t be able to afford living in the U.S. when I retire. This channel is so informative.
I have been watching your videos for weeks now. Thank you for making them. That is a very good plan. I will steal the idea from you, if you don't mind :)
You have planned well for that time of hanging up the keys. Glad I watched this today. I need to get my plan in order. Thanks!😀💕
@@JCTravelStories,
Yeah, I get it.
"Marshall, from MD USA, writes to ask for some helpful tips on how to save for retirement, so that he and his wife will be able to retire comfortably in Mexico one day."
Just a suggestion.
I am a very good judge of character, and you, sir, are one with a heart to help others, and a mind capable of doing so without offending your audience.
I wouldn't ask, if there wasn't such a growing problem, regarding this subject.
Best regards,
Marshall
Nice video, Jerry. Lots of thought-provoking. Stuff we really need to think about and plan for.
Bendiciones!
Excellent discussion....! And lots of wisdom...
We go to the Blythe Bluegrass Festival each year and of course visit Quartzite and Beer Belly’s , the adult day care center, regularly! We travel in our ‘93 Monaco Crown Royale. You missed the traffic of the RV show! We have a lot in Lake Klamath area
We need to share stories...I’m retired music teacher, blew my knees out playing hard court tennis and we also experienced an engine fire in our previous ‘37 ft Monaco leaving Lake Havasu bound for Kingman, AZ. Also studied philosophy, so love the wisdom! “Follow your bliss”. Stay vertical, my amigo!
I like that you say "we have" 😊
Man. You’re very handsome Gentleman. I’m really like you a lot.
Have actually used them as a shuttle to NYC to board
some of our cruises
We love cruising. Been on 5 of them. Great way to vacation, but too short a time to visit the ports.
Another very eloquent assessment JC. Thank you for this great overall prep thinking few of us are aware of - This reality is what makes life by design a reality.
You traded the potholes for speed bumps 😁
Nope. Got both potholes and speed bumps. :)
Thx.
Whut?! You're not feeling the global warming in your neighborhood yet? lol, pass the aspercreme, please.
I doubt if I will ever move and retire there, but it is interesting to hear you talk about Mexico, and for that matter, about other of your life experiences. You are a good story teller! Thank you and best wishes
PS "Mexico, a country that already knows how to be poor"
A statement to ponder, with many meanings and implications some of us cannot imagine.
As a single mom/ divorced mom..I have lived poor all my life..My son happy to say has a Masters and a good job with NASA (his dream) and mine
I'm so proud of him..But now I'm on my own and I would love to live in Mexico, living poor is no problema..just my language skills lol
Take care
Arizona. January. :) Ever get any better at folding up that tent?
Nope!! Lol, headed to Idaho
I like your exit plan and hope to have a home in Mexico myself soon. But, the current conditions have extended my work and delayed my move until next year. It's probably for the best. Enjoy all your videos. Just don't forget the dog content and give Lynn a hug. Thanks for sharing

You have the sentiments with me, I am in the position to retire in Mexico soon! thanks so much for your info.
Expect a range of emotions from friends and family .... Disbelief, anger, betrayal, thinking you're crazy and jealousy. :)
The best to you my friend
@@i_love_rescue_animals
Poor kitty. Maybe that one should be re homed.
Shilow Dawn Huh? Are you joking? Why do you say that?
Crazy fun. Crazy full of life. Crazy aware that life is short. I like crazy!
Buenos días ☀️🌞
I was born and raised in the US. When you ere young and working the US is a great place to live. When you are older and look to retirement I don't think it is senior friendly if you are not wealthy or high middle class. I have been staying longer periods in Mexico and I am finding that I love it. You do have to make some adjustments but once you do I think those trade-offs are well worth it. There is so much beauty and so many places to see.
Well said, Everardo! My experience tells me the same things. :)
I like your plan. Need to work on my other half.

I was thinking about Mexico, since I have been there many times, but also thinking Philippines, because I love to snorkel. Keep the videos coming!
We like being in the mountains for the year around weather, but only a few hours from the ocean for those experiences. :)

Shameful.
Rain up in the NW area..ha, one reason we moved to Mexico.....best thing we did since we retired..
Thanks for your advises. I enjoy all your videos. Keep it up! God bless.
