- After being inspired by Kumaar Family channel, Lya started Makan Buddy. She makes and delivers Malaysian food to customers in Southern California. We finally got the opportunity to meet with her where she surprised us with Logesh's all time favorite food, the Banana Leaf Rice meal which is from Malaysia.

dont mind at all, like during chinese new year we dont hide the roasted pig head when Malays come visit. Nor having malay nasi lemak store side by side a chinese butcher in morning market. Old golden malaysia, instead of this pretentious bullshit of a shit show. why the poor girl even introduce her chinese name, and no tudung for tht ambiguos name leah supposedly muslim malay host? shit show galore.
One of the best thing when traveling abroad/living abroad, meeting Malaysian people. It feels like reunited with Malaysian and start to talk in bahasa. 😂 gosh, how I missed traveling!

Rendang dendeng is the best! My aunt always make them whenever we visited her in Ipoh, Perak.
Now in Malaysia normal nasi lemak biasa RM 2 to RM 2.50.
Malaysians always bond over great food ! All of the food cooked looks delish

Here in Malaysia still lock down. Seeing you doing groceries, going for trip and looking those view during your trip makes me feel so relieved. At least i could see real outside world with real life. Nasi Lemak RM1 is still available but very hard to find, more common would be RM1.50.
That nasi lemak bungkus is really big. I would prefer smaller pack because I could go for 2 to 3 packs. Even the volume is the same but the feeling of eating 2 to 3 packs feels good. I really don't know how to explain. Can some one help?
