    The boom arms look great...I will try and make them for my lab/office/workshop/studio, I need the extra "hands" . All in all great video...I specifically like the RUclips button in the background and the iron man lines.

    Wiedermal ein tolles Projekt, Dominic!
    Vielleicht baue ich das Ding nach und nutze es Halterung für die Staubabsaugung der der Kreissäge oder einfach nur für den Staubsaugerschlauch, z.B. an der Bohrmaschine.

      Das ist auch ne tolle Idee! Sowas würde sich auf der Werkbank sicher auch gut machen, Absaugung genau da wo man sie braucht. Stell ich mir auch für die Dekupiersäge praktisch vor. Danke fürs Anschauen, Thomas!

    I think if you take a plastic milk jug, and cut a shim out for each side of the arm where it squeaks, it may take the noise away.

      That sounds like a good idea, definitely something to try. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, great video! My question is, how do you prevent them from not slowly sagging when your not looking 🤔 I made a small version for a tablet with butter fly nuts on the joints and it doesn't hold the position very well.

    • @BeInspiredwithDominic
      @BeInspiredwithDominic  3 года назад

      In my experience, it's a matter of tightening the screws well enough to hold position, but not enough to prevent movement. You could aide that by adding some kind or larger handle to the nuts. Thanks for watching!

    Sehr gut gemacht Dominic. Wie schwer ist die Canon? ich meine..... was kann der Arm an Gewicht aushalten (nur rein Interessehalber)? Wäre ja sonst eine gute und günstige Idee für Wandarmbasierte Lösungen der Kamerahalterungen in der Werkstatt! Schon cool, was der Erfinder dieser Arme seinerzeit alles losgetreten hat in 1937, als er seine Leuchten konzipierte!

      Ich denke das Maximalgewicht hängt hauptsächlich davon ab, wie gut man die Gelenke blockieren, also festschrauben kann. Die breiten Griffe beim Kameraarm lassen sich bombenfest zudrehen. Aber ich werd die Kamera bei nächster Gelegenheit wiegen und vielleicht mal einen Gewichtstest machen. Danke fürs Anschauen, Harald!

      And destroy that artful, classic-dungeon-door impending-cheesy-monster-doom sound effect? Never! (Maybe I will... Or make a dedicated screecher for whenever I feel like nostalgia... Thanks for watching, Mark!

      Be Inspired with Dominic Dedicated Screecher sounds like a death metal band. Good vid Dom, I enjoyed that. Incidentally, I enjoy watching your vids more than once and often go back to them - there aren't many channels I feel like that about! Thanks mate.

    geht das auch auf DEUTSCH bitte es gibt auch leute die kein englisch können !!!!!!

    • @BeInspiredwithDominic
      @BeInspiredwithDominic  5 лет назад

      Nein, von diesem Video gibt es (bisher) keine deutsche Version. Leider kostet das Zeit, die ich im Moment nicht habe, weshalb ich mich momentan auf englische Videos konzentriere und hoffe, dass sich die Grundideen vielleicht auch so erschließen. Aber vielleicht habe ich irgendwann mal Gelegenheit "nachzuarbeiten". Trotzdem Danke fürs Anschauen, Jürgen!
