Janine I feel you, water is so boring, I only drink it when doing a workout. Although there is flavoured water I don't generally participate. I'm also a cold morsel like you and often have multiple layers on, even on a sunny day.

we just use a bucket (with plastic bag liner) system - basically a hard-side version of what you have! we don't use a chemical "solidifier", though, we use wood pellets (not sure if you get them in the UK, compacted wood pellets that are used in fireplaces for heating, or for kitty litter) that expand and break up when wet. we've never had to use it for #2 but always glad to have that emergency back-up available. its great for absorbing wetness (and quiet for those 2am goes) without anything but a natural woody/piney aroma! then after a few uses, close it up and bin it. thoroughly enjoying your adventures, thanks for sharing!

It was lovely seeing East Lothian through your eyes. My husband and I go every year, he grew up there. I’m sure you know that you missed lots of places because of lack of time but that gives you an excuse to go back. The Fife coast is also wonderful.

Gannets are one of my favourite birds with incredible neck muscles. Sometimes if you see them diving there are dolphins there also. I know i keep saying Skomer but a must x

You're not meant for this country, are you? I left the UK 13 years ago, but had travelled with my work to nearly all parts of the UK. It's amazing to discover quaint places and landscapes. I do enjoy you travels and vegan adventures. I lived in Kazakhstan, China for 6 years which is remarkable in so many ways but have now settled in Thailand. I hate the British bone chilling winds. ☮️♥️☀️🌹 Care About You! Liam and Janine, Hope you're having a real Summer with lots of sun, even though we don't like it here in Florida. It's too much sun! Just wanted you to know as my husband who is from Denmark and is a long distance truck driver from state to state, that he loves with a passion! He said to tell you when you start up your engine, don't start it up all at once. Turn the ignition and stop in the middle to give time for the gas to flow to the different parts of the engine and then wait 60 seconds and then start up the engine. The same way air crafts are started. Your engine has to warm up a little bit before you preceded, if you want your engine and other parts to last a lot longer. Morgan will thank you for being patient with her and you will feel and see the difference. Another good tip for you. We notice when we put fuel injector in our truck that's a Hummer, because the engine a big engine, we feel the difference in mileage when we put the fuel injector. Cheers to smooth driving!

When you start Morgan, turn the ignition halfway to distribute the gas and the oil to the engine before you start as we mentioned. 60 seconds is for bigger trucks. I wait 8 to 10 seconds to start the Hummer. So for your sized truck, I think that will be more than enough before you start the engine. Just wanted to correct ourselves. Also, we said fuel injector, but it's actually called fuel additive/cleaner. Some people think it doesn't work, but I see the difference when I add it to my gas tank that it runs more smoothly. Just wanted you to know. Bye for now.

For me, I wasn't willing to pay upwards of $100 for a fancy toilet so I opted for a $5 dollar bucket, scented bags and some foam insulation to wrap around the top :)

Hi you two. I've finally found a van living couple my wife enjoys too. You are both very likeable. We love it in our van and maybe will bump into you both at some point. Two things if that's ok 1. The new loo likes like a bog standard bin with a bin bag bin 2. You don't need to keep saying the Vegan word. Other than that we love your stuff ❤️ You look like you are having a cracking time

Yes there is a island facing the beach where l live in Co.Dublin called Ireland’s Eye and the boat trip is hilarious 😆 but the island is beautiful untouched no shops nothing lovely 🥰

Nice video.re toilet its compact and could be stored easily. Could use bucket bag but then you'd have a bucket hanging around. What I really like is the magic powder that turns liquid into solid wìth no smell. I like that big time as I don't like urine being thrown out. Your van looks so cozy and comfortable. I've seen lots of fire places that would be ideal for you. You should sell that one and get rid of it.ive really been enjoying morgans transformation into your happy home. I will be leaving your voyages now but perhaps I'll be able to follow from a new dimension . I will be passing in a few days after several years of illness. Im 77 and okay with it. I will miss you both and Morgan for sure. Travel safely happily and far!
Love that coastline up through Northumberland into Scotland. We’ve had a Bivvy Loo for 3 years it’s so compact it’s ideal. It’s only been used a couple of times but reassuring to know it’s there. You’ll be blown away by Scotland it’s amazing, particularly the West coast. Don’t miss Galloway, it’s a lovely area. Stay safe guys.
Hi guys! I’ve used the Bivvy Loo for at least 3 years in my Vaneroo .. and its fine.. I use it for emergency’s and if there’s no toilets about .. It does smell tho if a hot day so best to just get rid of the bag when you have the opportunity… I haven’t added water to those powder pouches I just tip one in when I put the bag in .. its a game changer. 🥰
That’s interesting about the water part ! I will give that a whirl.. Kitty litter maybe good because those little kits with the bags and the powder are not cheap! 🙂
Dpf.. use shell v power derv, burns cleaner and reduces dpf issues. Also if you don't Wana use that , redex dpf cleaner every few tanks will also reduce the issues. As it reduces at that temp the soot burns off at .
Use wynns fuel system cleaner every 3kmiles,,its a tad expensive,,but well worth it ,,stops the old black death ,only managed to find it in halfords so far

St Abbs is famous among Divers for Cathedral Rock and the Glanmire a steamship that ran aground on St Abbs head on the 25th July 1912 lovely place too hence the Divers being there
I’m so happy you are trying the bivvy loo! After much deliberation I bought one for my campervan and it truly is the best thing I have bought! Compact to put away and easy to pop back up when needed, great space saving item which is always a good thing in small spaces. Hope you find it as useful as we do, happy travelling xx

I’m so happy you doubled back & went to Cove harbour. It was my favourite place when I did a mini tour up the coast last year. We live in a beatiful van not dissimilar to yours our toilet consists of a bucket boxed in under a toilet seat with a funnel to front into a wee pot .. bin bag in bucket then cover doings with a handful of sawdust stops any smells poping a bit of bleach in the bottom of the wee pot every time youve emptied it will stop the wee smelling

Janine generally eats fruit for water, she really doesn't go for drinking water but is loving this new air up

I wait 8 to 10 seconds to start the Hummer. So for your sized truck, I think that will be more than enough before you start the engine. Just wanted to correct ourselves. Also, we said fuel injector, but it's actually called fuel additive/cleaner. Some people think it doesn't work, but I see the difference when I add it to my gas tank that it runs more smoothly. Just wanted you to know.

For me, I wasn't willing to pay upwards of $100 for a fancy toilet so I opted for a $5 dollar bucket, scented bags and some foam insulation to wrap around the top :)

We have been using a bivvy loo for a few years now, we use the pine wood cat litter, no smell, cheaper than those sachets of gel powder.

Yes there is a island facing the beach where l live in Co.Dublin called Ireland’s Eye and the boat trip is hilarious 😆 but the island is beautiful untouched no shops nothing lovely 🥰

Nice video.re toilet its compact and could be stored easily. Could use bucket bag but then you'd have a bucket hanging around. What I really like is the magic powder that turns liquid into solid wìth no smell. I like that big time as I don't like urine being thrown out. Your van looks so cozy and comfortable. I've seen lots of fire places that would be ideal for you. You should sell that one and get rid of it.ive really been enjoying morgans transformation into your happy home. I will be leaving your voyages now but perhaps I'll be able to follow from a new dimension . I will be passing in a few days after several years of illness. Im 77 and okay with it. I will miss you both and Morgan for sure. Travel safely happily and far!

We’ve had a Bivvy Loo for 3 years it’s so compact it’s ideal. It’s only been used a couple of times but reassuring to know it’s there.
You’ll be blown away by Scotland it’s amazing, particularly the West coast. Don’t miss Galloway, it’s a lovely area. Stay safe guys.

Hi guys! I’ve used the Bivvy Loo for at least 3 years in my Vaneroo .. and its fine.. I use it for emergency’s and if there’s no toilets about .. It does smell tho if a hot day so best to just get rid of the bag when you have the opportunity… I haven’t added water to those powder pouches I just tip one in when I put the bag in .. its a game changer. 🥰

Dpf.. use shell v power derv, burns cleaner and reduces dpf issues. Also if you don't Wana use that , redex dpf cleaner every few tanks will also reduce the issues. As it reduces at that temp the soot burns off at .

Use wynns fuel system cleaner every 3kmiles,,its a tad expensive,,but well worth it ,,stops the old black death ,only managed to find it in halfords so far

We live in a beatiful van not dissimilar to yours our toilet consists of a bucket boxed in under a toilet seat with a funnel to front into a wee pot .. bin bag in bucket then cover doings with a handful of sawdust stops any smells poping a bit of bleach in the bottom of the wee pot every time youve emptied it will stop the wee smelling
