for those who dont want to use a halberd you can grind the spike with the pestle and mortar for 80 shards. Also try filling your vials with the fishing pool, and fishing a bit less before the demi bosses since they often drop fish. Also you can drop each of the resources for armour on separate tiles so it’s easier to inventory manage making the t1 and then t2, especially if you’re still collecting some resources in the second part of the run.

i've been learning it the past few weeks in anticipation for this video, but the best tip i picked up for T2 prep is to practice your T2 prep in normal gauntlet. Lets you get a good feel for the method, you have more time if you need, you still get loot, and good practice for prayer switches! then onces you have it comfortably in the 715 to 730 range you could upgrade to corrupted

Way to go man!!! You are way way better than on first normal gauntelt kill. I have found that doing a circle from sides of spawn room and then heading towards closest side where demi boss spawns are is optimal. You can fill up vials at fishing pools. You can also make potions after every tick of fishing or gathering as they act on same tick. I always do 1 weapon frame, 2 grimy herbs, 7 of each material and I check the 3 rooms for demi bosses. I then make weapon, 3 vials, and try to complete full set of t1 with a t2 chest plate. This means you only need 6 spots in inventory for remaining armor materials. You can then not drop them which saves a bunch of time. If you get lucky, you can make full armor and t2 weapon with vials before going to first demi boss. I prayer flick piety and melee protection prayer for each monster which means you waste no prayer on mobs. You then use up prayer only on demi boss kills. If you get the melee demi boss, you can safe spot him easily and use no prayer. You actually had him in a safe spot in your video. But if you don't get one like that, you can always run to an entrance to room and he can't walk through them. So you can effectively stand two tiles outside of room and kill him even with melee weapon as it has reach. Also, it costs 520 shards in total to make t3 weapons, t2 armor, and 3 potions. It's 410 for full t3, t2 weapon, and 3 vials. So that's why you can sometimes get lucky and fully make armor after first back. In last phase of boss fight, stand on those tiles you marked. The dangerous tiles never spawn there. Which means you never have to waste time moving until tornadoes spawn. I would also look up optimal placement of boss in room. There is a way to trap him perfectly where he is in a corner with 1 tile away from wall on each side close to wall. This means you have 6 tiles, 2 of which touch him, that arer safe spots in final phase. You also get the most amount of room to navigate tornadoes and dangerous tiles when he spawns tornadoes. It helps as having those few tiles extra can help avoid getting bottleknecked and specc'd out from tornadoes or having to run over a dangerous tile. It also prevents you from needing to ever walk under boss and potentially take a melee hit. Anyways, if you read this hope it helps! Keep it up man!

Thanks for the vid man! I know you didn't have a choice cause of time during this run, but if you wait til he's in a corner of the room before going in, it makes the last phase a lot easier (in my experience). Of course you'll get unlucky sometimes when he'll be in the corner, then go to the middle of the room as you're in the animation passing through the door.
Also, in the last phase, if I was able to start the fight with him in the corner, I stay as close to the middle as I can. That way, when the tornados spawn, I wait a second or so for them to start converging on me, then run to the edge of the room. This makes the tornados much more grouped up into a clump that covers only a few tiles, which gives me more freedom to run around as I need to.

You can fill your vials from the ponds, it doesn’t interrupt your fishing. You have a 90% chance of always finding 3 Demis before time runs out there’s no reason to not make staff as first weapon. You should always make tier 1 armor and 1 pot for your first back if you’re already sitting on that much resources. You can collect resources and attack like when you’re chopping meat tree at muttadile. There’s a ton of things to help you cut down time. Glad to see you pushing thru the losses thou! Keep it up!

I died 100 times before I got a kc in corrupted gauntlet. I finally figured out all I needed to use f keys. That really helped me progress as a pvmer. But yea you can use tier 2 if you want, but it's not necessary. You just need to know about ticks, specifically how movement works and the fact that when you click it performs the action on the next tick. That single piece of knowledge along with using f keys will get you through the game. Hallowed Sepulchre is also great to learn this at, and for prayer flicking Inferno is king. Learning Inferno is the greatest way to progress, although I started learning Inferno right after sepulchre and corrupted gauntlet

Man I am trying to learn gauntlet now. I'm 13 deaths and 3 completions in on the normal one but I am super slow at it.. pb is 13 minutes and I always use all the time even though I am using t1 armor. Probably because I refuse to use halberd 🤣 I should probably learn with it. you made it seem so easy.

Learning with tier 1 will make you a lot better at the corrupted gauntlet, but T2 prep doesn't seem difficult to learn and seems very worth it so that's what I'm aiming to do, how have you improved since your comment and any tips?

You can use the fishing pools to fill the bottle, so what I do is use the fishing pool to fill the bottles then start fishing, the second I catch 1 fish, I’ll make an unfinished potion and start fishing again, you won’t loose any ticks if done right, maybe I could be wrong and it could be a loss of a tick, but I doubt it
It’s also a good idea to where armor when fighting the Demi boss
I’ve done 30 attempts now, I can’t get the muscle memory for prayer/weapon switching down. It seems harder now than when I started honestly, I’ve played the game for so long I’m so gated behind not being good at pvm

For t2 armour, two t3 weapons, and three potions it is 520 shards

I don't really agree with doing tier 1 and dying 97/100 times to learn CG, Your better off doing 200 kills to learn with tier 2 but getting 100 kills in the process... thats an extra 94 kills of loot you'r missing out on.
