- I have been looking forward to making this video and getting out on the YZ450F Supermoto for quite some time! This video should answer lots of questions regarding the mods/cost of this build.

The heaver valve springs are not required for those engine's to run with the steel valves, but that involves modifications on the camshaft/sprockets and tuning/resetting the rev limiter.

if you want more light down low they also make fork mount clamps for pod lights should with some nice square pods should give good light

What is the wheel width you are running front a rear? Along with tire sizes as well. I’m wanting to sumo my YZF250F and I’m curious what will fit and what won’t.

Amazing build!! Alll the detail put in this is incredible!!! Hope to have something like this soon. How did you add the key switch ignition to it? Is that something that is universal? I have a 13 RMZ 450 kickstart. so anybody can basically jump on it and kick it and drive away. Are you using a battery? If so what size and where are you putting it?
Key ignition is universal yeh. No battery on the bike it runs 40w off the stator, no upgrades available for this yz stator. I had a shop install the key switch but there should be info on how to install it on RUclips or Google hope this helps

Bro, how did you install all the electrical system of the bike ?
Long shot cuz older cider but I'm trying to turn my 2015 yz450f in a street legal supermoto and I've been looking everywhere because my bike is kickstart no battery and I know it's possible I heard something about replacing my stator or having it rewound and it'll be able to generate around 50 watts but will it still be able to power the rest of my bikes system or what's your opinions?

See now I love the headlight and the tires. I don't know why people put slicks on their SM bikes? Why? Super Moto means street and dirt! Slicks even suck on grass forget true off road. You did it right. Those are like 80/20 tires which is what I would expect to see of a Super Moto build. Nice job. Looks good.

How did you wire the lights? Did you have to install a battery or get the stator rewound to get enough wattage?

Did you have any problem with the kickstand beeing to long? I was planning to buy the Fastway Pro Moto Billet Kickstand but i saw a comment that this one and also the trailtech are to long for 17'' wheels and that the bike can tip over. now am in a dilemma do i really need to sped +220-250usd for a kickstand or it is better to buy triangle stand from ebay for around 20usd? Fastway is really nice and will work with my dirt wheels but i just don't like to cut the kickstand.
On this YZ we did not have to cut the Trail Tech kickstand and it works perfect for the 17s. On my CR250 I had to cut the Trail Tech kickstand shorter with 17s or the bike would not lean over far enough.

I bought cheap triangle stand that will stay in my backpack.. it is 10time less expencive then the trailech and fastway kickstand. I will give i a try and see how it will go. With the money from the kickstand i have bought Cyrca pro bend handguards and Cyrca full armord skid plate. Thanks again and waiting for new videos from your channel!

How fast is the 14-44 gearing. How nice is it for highway riding?
Really fast I would say 95+ mph, it can cruise over 60-65 on the highway super easily maybe even 70 I use kph down here in mexico so I’m trying to convert haha
What kickstand did you use & how did you install it
Trailtech it is bolt on install
how does it work to drive it on the street whitout a registration plate?

Julian Lopez no sorry, the bike simply requires a key to start now. Won’t turn on without the key in and turned

It had 205, but it’s back to like 3 hrs now on everything... rebuilt and replaced literally everything. Suspension motor brakes u name it. Bike rides like new
