Angel Reese getting 20 rebounds is just wild. I find rebounds harder to do, than scoring. Caitlin is just possessed at this point...she is beyond great!. These girls are just 22 years old, they are legends!!

I saw the same thing in 1979 between Michigan State University and Indiana State university. 2 gentlemen named Earvin Johnson and Larry Bird. They went on to dominate the 1980's in the NBA. Now we could very well be looking at the same thing in the WNBA with Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. God I hope so, I always said that I liked watching the WNBA because when it comes to teamwork and chemistry, those ladies work just as hard if not harder than some of the men in the NBA at present. I only wish that the WNBA had a team in Boston. That way Angel Reese could go to The Los Angeles Sparks and Caitlin Clark could go to the Boston Celts. Maybe the Connecticut Sun could move to Boston just for the occasion.

Both players have great potential and will need to adjust to the WNBA because they will be facing tougher competition. Clark will more than likely be guarded much better in the WNBA. She’s going to see more of what Raven did in the NCAA title game. I’m thinking she will have a target on her as well due to all the attention. Everyone will try to bring their hall of fame game when they play the Fever. Reese needs to improve her footwork in the paint and she needs a reliable mid-range shot. From what I understand, she’s with the best team that can help her with various aspects of her game because they do well with developing players. I have never watched the WMBA before but I'm going to start watching it now that Clarke is heading there. Not watching it because Reese is going there or that FIVE of South Carolina's players are heading there, just because of Clarke. At my own college, the womens basketball is better statistically speaking than the men's, and NOT because their is one overall star on the roster but because they actually work well as a TEAM. What many overlook here that Ms Reese is one of the best defenders and rebounders inj the NCAA. She is clearly better on defense than Clark is. I will say that Clark has all of the offesive tools, but needs to work on defense. Reese on the other hand, needs a consistant outside shot. She does not have to be a 3 point shooter because she is a forward and her job is mainly defense, rebonding and averaging double doubles. I am in the belief that offense sell tickets, but rebounding and defense wins championships!

@@chhansen9813 You're partly right. Caitlin NEVER made the gesture to another player. She only did it to her coaches, it was some signal between them. As for the Van Lith comment, you are WRONG. Caitlin didn't even make the gesture in the game vs. Louisville. They had been trash talking during the game, and in the 4th quarter, we never heard what Van Lith said, but Clarks response was "shut up, you're down by 15". THAT'S ALL THAT HAPPENED. If you want to get pissed off about something, in the semi-final that Iowa and SC were in, it was late in the 4th quarter, there were 8 players packing in or close to the paint while an SC player stood just outside of the arc, and Caitlin was guarding her very loosely. She motioned to the SC player to take the shot because she wasn't going to come out and guard her. She knew she wouldn't take the shot, and she didn't. I don't remember what happened after that except that Iowa ruined SC's long record of unbeaten 42-1. They're on another good run though, and I wish them well. They got even with us in the championship game this year, and Dawn Staley must be a fantastic coach because her players are never dirty, they don't intentionally foul anyone, and they are incredibly good. I pity anyone who goes to play for Kim Mulkey, she is just nasty, and it shows by what her players do and how she lies, oops I meant speaks. I was right the first time.

When I watch college sports, and sports in general I constantly remind myself that they're kids. I think they could both tear a page out of the Larry Bird/Magic Johnson story. Truth be told: Why is female reality tv shows so popular? And what do they do to get ratings? What attraction does women do in any tv exposure ? Catfights and drama? I only watched 2 women's college games this year because of the LSU vs Iowa rivalry last year. So w/o that beef with Angel Reese then and the media hype, not too many others would have been interested in girls college basketball this year. I'm a fan of Caitlin Clark, but Angel Reese was playing great until she was hurt. NEITHER team had an answer for the opposing star. The title makes it sound like it was all Caitlin. It was not. Both were great until Angel was hurt, and even then Angel was good, while the uninjured Caitlin remained great. No telling what would have happened if Angel hadn't been hurt. In any case, it was a terrific game.

She’s not the best player! Why do media do this??? It’s to make people have the debate about who the best because of their record breaking performance! As an athlete numbers, don’t make you the best. It’s attitude how you carry yourself and what you do on the court in the moment and what you do consistently on the court to make others better and raise the level of their games, although she has done that, but individually, her game still needs work so that does not make you the best player ever. Best players have no weaknesses and I can point out a lot of her weaknesses. Learn the game before honoring someone the best ever!
