Second one has arrived 10 mins ago! Had one for 6 months and waited so i have lived with the very satisfying sound of one and now know how it is my room and the music in my life are to be elevated and I with it!
This speaker has such a great audio quality, if you guys use Tidal or Deezer getting Lossless music is a must. It only works with Android and wired connections since iPhones don't support the LDAC Bluetooth codec, but it's totally worth it
I have been using this same 2 Sony speakers for the last 2-3 months and is indeed a good office setup and I can take one with me to work and leave one for the wife ....I also have a Sony tv I hardwire or use BT latter is a big difference when hardwired amazing actually

The JBL seemed to sound just slightly better for the same price point, but I have always been a Sony fan and will stick with my decision. They both have multiple connectivity with compatible speakers, but in my opinion Sony has lead in the past
Hmmm right I think the JBL might be more popular for music aficionados, but Sony's signature sound is unique and yeah like you I've been using Sony products for a loooong time and like them haha
If I seen both for same price JBL all the way for sure but I love my new xb43 for 150 plus tax definitely worth it at that price point I need another so I don't have to carry my sound boks3 everywhere
Hope by now you are using these good speakers with the Sony Media Center app to adjust EQ and paired them in stereo mode .. plus playing music from good streaming hi res sources with LDAC turned on .. otherwise you are not getting the best out of these speakers. Cheers.

And FYI I'm not sure why but the pairing has been very glitchy lately... like I connect them via both Bluetooth and the Sony app but regardless of whether it's my note 10+ or tab s7+ the connection invariably becomes spotty after some time... no issues with individual connections though... hope they release an update to fix it!!
Right I know aptX and AAC have better sound quality compared to SBC, but what's your point? Single mode sounds better compared to party mode? I... actually havent noticed any difference, but then again I don't listen that carefully.

Hmmm right, after I made this video I noticed there are 2 options, one for stereo pair and the other for party connect. The former is better for sound quality and the latter better for volume so I use PC when I wanna blast the speakers loud haha

It’s very convenient to have two or 3 BT speakers than just a sound bar ( for the same price) in my opinion. Hi thanks for your comment. I don't think so, namely because we need the app (Android or Windows) to connect the speakers. There is a connect button on them, so technically you could try to sync them first, but then you'd have to pair them to your TV. To my knowledge the the TV can accept only one connection at a time.
Be aware. Party mode is not stereo mode. To use the Stereo Pair function, 2 SRS-XB43 speakers are required. By connecting 2 speakers via BLUETOOTH connection, you can enjoy more powerful sound. One speaker plays the sound on the right channel (right side), while the other speaker plays the sound on the left channel (left side) for stereo playback between the speakers.
That is REALLY useful advice! I read it somewhere long time ago but never used it... not sure about how Party Connect compares to Dual Audio (I use Samsung devices) but will try it out! It shoudl be as you said. www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/dual-audio-android-10/
It's not going to work with speakers from different lines. You can pair xb41 with xb41, and likewise with xb43 and xb43, but not 41 and 43. Hope this helps
I'm not sure about the wattage but it does seem 2 combined are louder than 1, although sometimes I need to hit the power buttons on both to manually check. Recently I've found 1 is enough for my living room!
No sorry, each manufacturer tends to pair devices to those of the same generation. As for the Sony's the XB43s work with the XB33s and 23s, but not the XB41 and so on.

I can put in on max volume in my living room and still hear someone whisper across the dining table what they are saying. I wonder if 2 paired would significantly improve the volume. kinda how 2 claps sound much louder than 1.
Oh sure 2 of the xb43s will defnitely pack a greater punch that 2 used separaely. I wouldn't go so far as to say I could hear someone whisper,but the XB43s are noticeab;y softer than the XB41s while being quite a bit bigger. The clarity seems to be the improvement here.
Once you play it enough and use it often with time it will start booming , I have the srxb41 and it’s amazing I’ve had it since my freshman year and I’m a senior now
Sorry I can't comment on the Charge 5 cos I don't have JBL speakers, but as for the XB43 it's a full-featured and loud speaker; the only downsides for me are the the weight and how awkward it is to pick it up with one hand and carry it around the house, and the firmware-related pairing with other XB speakers.
@@LockdownTechToys its loud enough BUT i can hear the auto-equalization in place of clipping and it would be ok BUT lol it "mods" the music profile actively .if u can imagine what im saying. i know most of my music by heart . what is happening is the speaker alters the eq spec to get the music to "fit" under clipping. id rather it just throttle the gain evenly . kind of anoying because i can hear when it makes a mistake and i hear the bass clip in random measures . then it realizes [smart amp- can feel the speakers pain lol] and "fixes" the issue . sooooo i loose bass- perceptively . because they lower the bass under clipping and the rest stays at same volume. actually disturbing to a person with a sensitive ear . o yea and there isnt much bass-- for me. im a sub fan. reggae for life

But yes if you're going into the specifics like the gradients of bass and all I don't think this will suit your ears. I have two 43’s and a 33. I link them all together and use them with my tv. Works amazing. They jam for sure.
Hearing these on headphones the bass is soo deep it's insane !!!!
The bass can rattle the floors and walls at mid to high volumes!! Great for drowning out the din of noisy neighbors haha

They use SBC when they are in party mode when i was pairng My dad XB43 with my XB33 i was checked which codec use and it was SBC

You should have used stereo pairing mode instead of party mode Cause it enhances the stereo effects of the speaker

You have to break in the speaker

Your probably using a PC computer, i use my note 10 to play music and its significantly louder
2 xb 33 can sound as well like 2 xb 43?... In esterio mode
I highly doubt it... the xb43 is a lot more powerful than the xb33, so the bigger speaker will sound better

Of course! But your TV must have Bluetooth, and once you turn it off the connection will stop. You can auto pair it with the speaker though.

You can by pairing them up using bluetooth. To pair 2 speakers with your PC, download the Sony app for PC first.

hey bro! There is LDAC in stereo mode. Just go to Settings, tap on the 3 dots, then Music Center Settings - after pairing the 2 speakers.
