    what are the seasons like? does it get real cold. how hot are the summers, or cold the winters. do you get a lot of snow in the winter. what is the worst kind of weather you get. i mean, do you get tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods? i am just curious. i love the architechture i see and i want to move there.

    • @vertox78
      @vertox78 3 года назад +1

      It's very good that you want to move here! I live near Warsaw but we have almost same weather in all regions, I didn't saw snow since 2015 so the temperature is very often at + in winter, but if you want snow there is always in mountains. And on summer is near 25 C°+, and about tornadoes and other disasters here are very rare, so in my opion the climate is pretty peacful. ;)

    • @poptravelorg
      @poptravelorg  4 года назад

      Some good observation! The German name of Wroclaw is "Breslau" and it was indeed a German city until 1945. The Germans had to leave after the war, their architecture remained

    • @Volksinformant
      @Volksinformant 3 года назад

      It was a GERMAN city for more than 600 years. We called it "Breslau" and the region was known as "Schlesien".
      Thanks to WWII we lost Schlesien, Pommern and Ostpreußen one third of Germany.

      @@Volksinformant Yes, the East side of Poland was lost to Russia.

    • @aleksanderkorecki7887
      @aleksanderkorecki7887 3 года назад +13

      @@Volksinformant It was Prussian for only over 200 years. It was part of Poland ruled by Piast Polish dukes, then Czech and then Austrian. Prussia only got it after Frederick the Great won Silesian War and took it from Austria. The region was known as Śląsk long before it was known as Schlesien. Schlesien probably comes from Śląsk as well as many german city names that sound oddly similar to original Polish versions. You lost it because you started WW2 and invaded us and also as a compensation for lands we lost in the east indirectly because of you.

      Americans are very welcome, even more, everyone is welcome, we just only don't want people that don't work and gaining money from country by doing nothing, and because of that debt keeps increasing for the working people, like it is in Germany or France. But i know that foreign propaganda shows it differently. Stay safe and strong friend! ;)
