My father abuses me emotionally but people don't take it seriously just because he doesn't beat me, but they don't realize that words can hurt too, sometimes he tells me thing that are so painful and I'm hypersensitive so I feel everything soo intense.
19:00 I think the creation of a cycle breaker is the result of generational teamwork, where all the abused people have had to participate. They might have repeated some patterns, but with each generation, the abuse becomes less and less intense. It might take a very long time to start noticing the minor advancements, but with time and the accumulation of generational wisdom, someone will eventually be ready to feel and process everything and have the "privilege" to be the cycle breaker. It’s not just about one person “fixing” everything, but about the collective, generational journey that makes it possible for one person to step in and stop the cycle. Its really fascinating, i am not religious although some people would call me spiritual because i understand quantum physics ( lmao if you know you know) but i love their perspectives that comes from a religious and spiritual backround. In the end all religions and spiritual believe systems that talk about one divine source are kind of the same, its purpose is connecting the people to this divine source, God, the Universe. I especially loved their view on that God decided to use the woman as the tunnel for his creations and that if women are mistreated, its essentially disrespecting Gods intention and nothing good will come out of it. I really loved this thought provoking episode. Even the beginning when they talked about water and death. I fear the death of my family unfortunately still my heart hurts everytime i think about it, but not my own anymore, which lift my shoulders honestly. I even had the exact same thought process like Liz when she mentioned the fear of a plane crash and how she made peace with it. Oh and also what Liz said about that were basically dying all the time, shedding old versions of ourselves, makes me think that death is the ultimate like pinnacle of change we go through. And what comes after is the highest level of existence….

I have drowned three times in my life, and each time I fought to save myself. On all three occasions, I told myself, 'It’s okay, accept that you are gone,' yet each time, I managed to survive. The sea is terrifying but wise, and to this day, I still can’t fully understand how I managed to save myself.
I went through abuse and have trauma from it, the things Liz said about mourning the loss of her childhood is something that I felt for a long long time. I then had a son and even though I am not a child myself anymore I can still experience that through giving him what I never had. It can be a bittersweet feeling sometimes when you realise how bad you were treated when you were a kid but it’s also so freeing and beautiful to know that out of that situation came a wonderful parent that is a gift to a child just as much as that child is a gift to you. My inner child is smiling and healing everytime that my son is excited, happy and calm and safe❤️

Hi Liz. I admire you so much. You feel like the older sister I never had and it makes my heart warm. I struggle quite a lot with a toxic mother who’s sweet sometimes but breaks my heart to pieces all the time. I have truly tried everything with her, being patient being sweet listening to everything she says since a child begging for her validation. I just grew really hateful and angry and jealous of the way she treats my younger sister. My dad lives away and I’ve turned twenty recently and I’m actually crying right now hahah because I feel the years are passing and I’m still stuck in this depressing cycle. I used to feel guilty when I thought about my abusive mother hating me and thinking maybe I should fix that relationship because whenever I remember Liz she always said that she took care of her mother and loved her, but when Sabrina mentioned that there are mothers who hate their daughters and it's real ,it made me feel a little better, it seems like it's true that you can't have a father or a mother at the same time
Today wasnt the best day ever but im trying to stay positive.. i missed the bus home today but my friend thankfully payed for a taxi for me. I came home and my mother was screaming and swearing and accusing me of being in a secret relationship with someone and doing drugs, vaping whatever i dont even know where she came to that conclusion but for 3 hours she was bashing me and for a moment i just thought why am i even trying anymore this reminded me that i should keep trying thank your!

My father abuses me emotionally but people don't take it seriously just because he doesn't beat me, but they don't realize that words can hurt too, sometimes he tells me thing that are so painful and I'm hypersensitive so I feel everything soo intense.

I think the creation of a cycle breaker is the result of generational teamwork, where all the abused people have had to participate. They might have repeated some patterns, but with each generation, the abuse becomes less and less intense. It might take a very long time to start noticing the minor advancements, but with time and the accumulation of generational wisdom, someone will eventually be ready to feel and process everything and have the "privilege" to be the cycle breaker.
It’s not just about one person “fixing” everything, but about the collective, generational journey that makes it possible for one person to step in and stop the cycle. That’s why they’re so rare, in my opinion.

Its really fascinating, i am not religious although some people would call me spiritual because i understand quantum physics ( lmao if you know you know) but i love their perspectives that comes from a religious and spiritual backround.
In the end all religions and spiritual believe systems that talk about one divine source are kind of the same, its purpose is connecting the people to this divine source, God, the Universe.
I especially loved their view on that God decided to use the woman as the tunnel for his creations and that if women are mistreated, its essentially disrespecting Gods intention and nothing good will come out of it.
I really loved this thought provoking episode. Even the beginning when they talked about water and death. I fear the death of my family unfortunately still my heart hurts everytime i think about it, but not my own anymore, which lift my shoulders honestly. I even had the exact same thought process like Liz when she mentioned the fear of a plane crash and how she made peace with it.
Oh and also what Liz said about that were basically dying all the time, shedding old versions of ourselves, makes me think that death is the ultimate like pinnacle of change we go through. And what comes after is the highest level of existence….

Liz you are literally the reason where I was in freeze mode for 23 years of life and trauma I was a victim to it when I watched you u changed my life mindset I'm still working on thems as I talked negatively to myself my entire life and I realise those words had a knock off effect on myself my enviroment I was a shelter of a person that watched everyone even these past few yeqre all I do is watch ppl I knew achieve and live life while I be in ny room and because of u I decided I want to change and be the cycle breaker im trying I startee going to the gym I'm looking at ways to expand my knowledge theres a lot of emotions and I do go through depressed phases but I think its because im coming out of my comfort zone I always wanted to look invisible and never looked after my hair didnt ever explore my style and because of you ur changing me😭❤️❤️❤️ I want to do better for my mum for the women that didnt get the same opportunities in the past

I went through abuse and have trauma from it, the things Liz said about mourning the loss of her childhood is something that I felt for a long long time. I then had a son and even though I am not a child myself anymore I can still experience that through giving him what I never had. It can be a bittersweet feeling sometimes when you realise how bad you were treated when you were a kid but it’s also so freeing and beautiful to know that out of that situation came a wonderful parent that is a gift to a child just as much as that child is a gift to you. My inner child is smiling and healing everytime that my son is excited, happy and calm and safe❤️

Hi Liz. I admire you so much. You feel like the older sister I never had and it makes my heart warm. I struggle quite a lot with a toxic mother who’s sweet sometimes but breaks my heart to pieces all the time. I have truly tried everything with her, being patient being sweet listening to everything she says since a child begging for her validation. I just grew really hateful and angry and jealous of the way she treats my younger sister. My dad lives away and I’ve turned twenty recently and I’m actually crying right now hahah because I feel the years are passing and I’m still stuck in this depressing cycle. It’s like eveytime everything seems to be going well she comes around and makes me cry

I used to feel guilty when I thought about my abusive mother hating me and thinking maybe I should fix that relationship because whenever I remember Liz she always said that she took care of her mother and loved her, but when Sabrina mentioned that there are mothers who hate their daughters and it's real ,it made me feel a little better, it seems like it's true that you can't have a father or a mother at the same time
Today wasnt the best day ever but im trying to stay positive.. i missed the bus home today but my friend thankfully payed for a taxi for me. I came home and my mother was screaming and swearing and accusing me of being in a secret relationship with someone and doing drugs, vaping whatever i dont even know where she came to that conclusion but for 3 hours she was bashing me and for a moment i just thought why am i even trying anymore this reminded me that i should keep trying thank your!

I can feel they were talking about Turkiye when women abuse and the conclusion has been showed up with economic crisis ( 9:59). That’s so heartbreaking that we’ve born in this country as a woman. I’m living in some city that I have even got face to face to a harraser that look like a beast. I swear the god once I heard that man was a harraser I thanked to god that anything had happened to me that day. I wish all these disgusting things will be over soon. And whoever read this right now I’m not suggesting you to read what’s going on with Turkiye. There is not good things happening here.
And I wanna add that in this place, children abuse is the most normal thing. Like no one is caring about you. If you go to police and say “my parents used violence against me” they even can blame you. Everything about my country is pissing me off. THEIR NORMALS IS NOT FUCKING NORMALS
