It’s crazy how much common these men have from their country (Chechnya). I was married to a chechen and he was a nightmare, didn’t want to work, lazy, dirty and everything, but with huge ego. He’s dad was similar. Women on the other hand are usually so strong, but with bunch of traumas and negative energy. Liz and Sab are soooo different from any other chechen I’ve ever met. So refreshing to see. The story they tell is so similar with my experience. Black magic thing that was a part of his family, the money using and sendig back home instead of using on our needs, doing things behind the back. It’s crazy how these people have so much in common. I liked the traditions and respect they have for their families, but honestly this case was just words and empty morals that the family itself didn’t follow, but preached about it loudly. With time I noticed how this was draining my mental health and he also has many other issues such as addiction, so I was left with no other ways than leaving the relationship. Now I feel sorry for my old self, how tf could I stay and think I would ever be happy with these people? They live also in europe, have every opportunity to be happy, but they themseleves don’t want it and create unnecessary drama with everything and everyone.

I just wanted to put this out here at 8:05, I think you guys mean forced marriage not arranged marriage. They often get mixed up and it’s not the same. Arranged marriage is usually where a family (the parents) suggest a spouse for their son/daughter and their daughter/son CAN decide to not marry that person. Forced marriage is where the son/daughter has no choice but to marry that person. I just wanted to clarify this for Sabina and Liz. Love you both🫶🏾💕

i didnt expect myself to cry because my dad is an amazing father and husband, hamdullah, but when sabina talked abt how their dad pulled liz by her hair I started crying. i wish I could hug them both. sabina, liz, their mom, and their brother deserve the world and I just know that their dad is living a hard sad life and if he's dead Im 100% sure this monster is rotting in hell right now for what he did to his family.

Girls, there is a difference between arranged marriage and forced marriage. Arranged marriage is when the families choose a partner, the two meet each other, talk and see if their views align and if they like each other, if not they don’t marry. Forced marriage is when they don’t have a say in anything
