We were doing this in the early , early 80’s. We could not buy a commercial board. We had to make our own. Braking in things is old skool. Now 50 yrs old and still styling on a variety of board styles and makes. All the best mate🤙🏼
Sweet vid! I have my carver board set up so loose (finger tighten before every run) that I think this could be the board for me, people say its hard to ride so it sounds perfect to me. At the end I did think that's a long walk back to the cool bmw 😆
I found my SwellTech difficult to ride in the beginning because I tried to ride it like a regular skateboard. Once I started visualising myself on a wave and riding it like a surfboard, things clicked and I absolutely love it!

This Austin Keen board is my first and only surfskate so far. It's a lot of fun to ride.

It's all practice makes perfect I have one too when I started it wasn't that easy but now I have a blast every day surfing on concrete waves! 😊🎉❤

Do the skills learned on this really transfer over to the water?
Simple answer. No. It’s a ruse. Fun though when the waves are flat
50% it will transfer that's if you practice on ramp but I suggest not this surfskate sadly.
