Great tutorial! I can do 20 bar muscle ups then tried the ring muscle up and couldn`t do even 1, guess the mechanics are very different. Thanks so much for this tutorial, I`ll give it a go and see how it plays out. Thanks so much for posting.

Hi Simonster, any advice on dealing with or avoiding rope burn from the straps? (especially when doing ring dips)
Something I read on reddit the other day; you can take some old long socks and cut off the foot part, then slide them over your forearms. Could probably also just wear a long-sleeve shirt.
@@EbiLMunkeY I personally use simple tennis wristbands and put them below my elbows , it works perfectly.

IDK if you answer questions here, but at 2:00 for stretching. Is that considered internally rotated? Or is that normal? I have really poor flexibility with shoulder entension, and this caused much pain during ring dips. Kind of afraid of doing those stretches because I cant really open my chest during stretch. Thx.

Any tips to make the false grip more comfortable in an iron cross ?
Long shot on getting a reply but how important is the distance apart that the rings are mounted? If it’s too far will I struggle to keep the rings close during the pull phase?
Yep, that’s right. If you anchor them super wide you’ll need more force from your muscles to stop them from pulling apart. Consequently, exercises will be harder

I "earned" a good golfer's elbow by going crazy with my good old ring muscleups :| false grip I love you! :)
did you overcome it? I have the same problem with my elbow when doing ring muscle up transition drills and would love to hear from you.

false grip really help!!! Guys, that was what made me there for the first ring muscleup
false grip is the way to go when using rings. Without false grip you'd have to rotate your wrist and that's not a very good option on rings. On bar it's okay tho

It doesn't make any sense man, you look like a bodybuilder, you're huge, but you train fun things and your body s functional. How the fuck did you make that happen? But even though I admire your physique and movements, I think you would look better if you could now somehow get more defined, keeping the volume, but that's impossible i suppose
