Great breakdown as always. I would like to hear in the next breakdowns more details about how you install skrims / backdrops. For example, I really liked the trick with boom pool and matthelini. Of course everyone will suggest you to bring tons of c stands. But those tricks with rigging metal pipes on clamps always fascinated me in those low budget type of videos.
Thanks Anton! Absolutely, I’ll def include more about that stuff next time. That’s a really good point. That trick with the cardi and boom pole is legit the best way to hang rags with minimal gear. Like especially for travel shoots needing to only bring one stand a boom pole and a cardi is awesome. Appreciate you brother!
@@carstenschlag What do you think about using 2 meter steel pipe in a griphead on top of c stand for overhead light with f22c or light cob with small soft box. Is it a safe combo? I do not have a budget for a baby boom arm for now and I need some other option for wide shots. Standart 120cm arm too short sometimes. I saw something like that in Tenfold breakdowns but not sure that it was a just a pipe. Have you used something like that?
Thanks man! I attached the top of it to the bottom of the camera with a magic arm so the pen and camera moved in unison. Then shot everything upside down and flipped it in post! Appreciate you watching brotha!
@@carstenschlag i was wondering. In the video youre saying youre doing less of this kinda projects now a days. Is it because video is your profession right now or something else?
