- It's our first ever time visiting Castries, St. Lucia and we're headed out on a mega-tour booked independently with Edmund Tours... join us for their "Land & Sea Tour" which includes learning about bananas and rum, some awesome photo ops, a visit to a bat cave, snorkeling between the Pitons, lunch in the town of Soufriere, a chilly dip in a waterfall, a smelly soak and mud bath at the sulphur springs, and more madness!! :D

I may have to change to this excursion when we are there in December! Was just going to go to the mud bath and mineral pools but all the other stuff looks amazing! Dee, you're so cute when you talk while snorkeling! Can't understand you but it makes me smile every time!

Jay is so game with whatever Dee does and Happy doing. Love his enthusiasm with activities. Snorkeling is my choice of activities. Bonaire and curacao and grand cayman has good Snorkeling. Other places are over run and not as good.

Oh my goodness; the mud bath was one of my favorite parts of this video! It just keeps getting better and betterer!
We've been there three times. First time we took an island tour that included rainforest and getting to taste the small bananas they're known for plus banana bread. It literally rained pretty much all day, but it was fun. Second trip we did the catamaran to the Pitons which was fun.
We also did the Edmund Tours in St Lucia & loved it
I just ordered my snorkel mask for my first cruise in April. Hoping I can see well enough without my glasses to enjoy it half as much as Dee! Although, I fear what happened to the baby eel; those fish seemed to want to gang up on it 😱

We stopped in St Lucia on our 2008 Adventure of the Seas cruise. This was by far our favorite island. We did not everything you did. The snorkeling at the pitons as amazing.
WOWZAA! Such an amazing day, your tour was fabulous! Dee I share your love of snorkeling. I lived on the big island of Hawaii for 15 years and I snorkeled all the time! I loved when you went out deeper around the bigger pieces of coral I just wanted to dive down and swim among the fish!!! And Jay I loved your socks of the day but I’m glad you didn’t see any of those sharks while you were out in the water!!!
You are killing me! We had a Carnival cruise set to go there a few years ago but there was that hurricane then covid...now they don't go. I guess we need to find another cruise line so we can finally get there. Not sure Celebrity is right for us though, it looks a little more laid back than we like. Thanks for another great video!
We have been on everthing from Viking to Carnival and Celebrity is great. Try it you will most likely love it.

Great blog, I enjoyed it. I did a similar tour like this when I visited St Lucia, but it was under Coustal tours and we did go to the hot springs and the waterfalls before we went to the pitons.
#pitonsforPDJ - I have to say at first I didn't see much under there, but lo and behold, you got to see so many cute squid and that poor eel that was trying to escape the hungry fish! What a great day there at St. Lucia!!

We went to Sugar Beach years ago…excursion by boat from the ship…awesome, beautiful beach. Definitely one of my top 3 beaches
What are the other beaches you likes on St Lucia?
@@m1ssb0ba Marigot Bay is beautiful. Other favourites are La Toc Beach and Anne Cochon. Sugar Beach is still the prettiest

Love this Adventure you had! May I please ask, on the stops to the various places, Were the roads really bumpy? I have back problems and I’m concerned about that. Being in a car for long periods of time is difficult! within the seven hours of the excursion, would you guys say that in the car? To me it look like you were not at the mud baths for very long, but I know that’s a lot of editing as well :-) I’m just praying to God to see sea turtles in St. Lucia :-)

Dee, NEVER NEVER wear jewelry on your hands when diving. A barracuda has poor eyesight and he will mistake the floash from your ring as a fish and you could end up missing a finger.
