Have you coverd Aogashima before? It needs a 200$ flight (one way) and 3 hours on a ferry to reach and is probably the furthest away from population centers in all of Japan.
@@KindaNeet It's said to be the inspiration for the volcanic crater/crater lake on the top of the mountain in Your Name. It isn't as close to the anime depiction as the other places you mentioned though.

It's in shizuako prefecture on the coast south to Numazu. I can definitely recommend to check out the Numazu region if you've seen the series.
