  • The Hyundai Venue is a practical small crossover that's really just a more modern interpretation on the subcompact car market. This vehicle has comfortable and roomy seating, and some great tech that you wouldn't expect! Want to see it for yourself? I have a 2021 Venue. Bought new. An SE model. The car has been a joy since we have owned it. Taken on long trips 1000 miles + through the mountains to the sea. No real issues yet...40+ miles per gallon on trips. Car is comfortable and surprisingly long-legged. In the mountains it seemed to always be in the right gear-No hunting...Quality of materials is surprisingly good. I transported cars for a local quality used car dealership and drove all makes and sizes. Including the KIA Soul.This is the vehicle I decided on. At $20K USD it's a real bargain. I highly recommend a test drive...

    We just got one yesterday, love it. Four doors, hatchback, drives like a car, good gas mileage. There should be more cars like this.

      I was comparing Venue and Kona which one to buy. The design is absolutely beautiful and the price is very good. With their 100,000 mile warranty, I think I should be OK.

    Excellent review. Car is not ugly with those wheels and color. I am a minimalist*
    but this car is really well equipped. You understand the small details and features and explain them like no other reviewer. (!) *
    have a Civic LX..beam rear suspension and drum brakes. Also a K-5 LXS front drive, not as well equipped in U.S. as in Canada. Civic is simply a delightful car, K-5 is beautiful but I hope turbo and direct injection don't end up complicating reliability. I do 3K miles oil changes and fuss over every detail of care and maint. Keep up the amazing work!!

    I drive a lot so the company I work for pays for a vehicle if I buy it new
    I spent 2 weeks dealer hopping until I got to a Hyundai dealership and drove off four hours later with my 2024 venue. Three weeks and I have put 2000 miles on it already. I really like pretty much everything about it except one thing that I hate seem petty, but the sunvisors really suck, they are way too small do not have extenders, I had to purchase one of those add-ons old people use as to not be blinded when I drive east in the morning

    You are making a new car research discussion easier with your reviews. I was debating on this one but no XM is a no. I am keep going back to my Nissan Sentry because it has so much more for the same price as this one.

      $32,370. is same price? I just checked the price and it's 10k more. The cheapest one $27,000. Are you selling Santra?

    Good review, it is a cute little car, sort of reminds me of the hot hatch for 2023, but less thrilling. It's a very roomy looking crossover for the size car it is. Also, 22C is hot? Try most of the USA the last few weeks...30+!

      @PeterLoweOne  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah. Maybe it wasn't that hot. 🙂 But compared to -22 it was very hot! 😃👍

      Do you live in Canada, if so. How is the venue or winter conditions? Any problem starting it during -20 °C and below?

      The Bayon looks like a more modern car than the Venue, at least to my eyes.

    I have the 2023 Kia Soul and I find it’s a much smoother and definitely a quieter ride than the Venue and seems more solid also better built….yes I test drove them both before I made my decision…..I will mention that I am more of a Kia fan than Hyundai so there’s that!😄…..I love your reviews Peter!🙏🏻

      Thanks Kathy! The Soul is a class above, that's for sure, but I've come to appreciate this more for what it is. A solid vehicle that gives people the features they love without a whole lot of extras.
      This won't be for everyone, but I see a lot of happy customers with these, and I get it more now than I used to.

      Just took one of these 2022 Venue’s for a spin(car co-op) with 2 adults a 6, 4 and 3 yr old. Tight back seat with 1 high back and 2 boosters. Interior in front seems more closed in then my wife’s 17’Bolt and my old 13’SX4. I see on fuelly these can get 5.8-8.0L/100kms but i do stress that alot of drivers do idle excessively year round here in Canada. Great review! 👍

      I would buy Soul if the design was like Venue LOL. I just could not get over that box look at the back, but I heard good things about the car.

      0:04 0:04 I too would be more interested in the Soul if it looked more like the Venue. Maybe the 2025 redesign of the Venue will use the Soul platform since it has to compete with the new Nissan Kicks. The Soul IS looking pretty stale and also needs a redesign.

    I have the 2023 preferred. They all should come with 16 inch wheels. 15 is too small. Terrible in snow, worst than my elantra. Feels like a throw away after 3 yrs, engine and underbody is cheap steel and poorly made. Otherwise I like it.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  5 месяцев назад

      Great snow tires can transform this vehicle in the snow, even with the smaller 15 inch wheels.

  • @scrambler69-xk3kv
    @scrambler69-xk3kv 5 месяцев назад

    I completely disagree with you on the wheels. To me a large wheel with a no sidewall tire is just gross. As soon as I clicked on the video those stuck out as UGLY. Besides the larger the tire the more expensive they are to replace. You allready have a car payment so you need to save elsewhere and big tires cost more.
