I completely agree that every single bit of processing seems to act as a trade off. It improves some area of the sound but only through degrading some other element. Clean with no processing gives me overall best results too
@@dorsia6938 For me an EQ and a multiband processor for that yummy phase dispersed sound is enough. Better yet, capturing a processed waveform as a wavetable, you save both CPU and time. Any necessary balancing of the fundamental can then be done in the wt editor =)

I have my best result now with no process on KnB channel, or maybe a little bit of pultec eq but that's all, all the work is designing kick and bass

yes the delay is exactly 9 frames. should be fixed in the next video or the one after...
