That's exactly what I thought.. why would she get into a car with a strange man, when she wouldn't even go to parties with friends, if there were men there..?
I'm confused because Bailey uses male pronouns for several friends who are part of this story and I'm not sure if they're actually male or she just made a mistake in reporting, but I was surprised she had any male friends if she was that scared of men?
Take a close look at every homeless person you encounter. There was a homeless man that lived in our small town for 10 plus years. He suffered from schizophrenia. The town people loved him. We took care of him. Then he suddenly died from an aneurysm. It was then we found out he was a missing person. His family had been looking for him and they lived only 30 mins away. We just believed his word. This woman is probably in a town and no one realizes there is family looking for her.
I was just thinking about this. There's a chance she could be hiding in plain sight. Oftentimes people don't give individuals experiencing homelessness a second glance. I really hope she can be found one day, this case has always stuck with me. RIP to the man who passed from your town.
The way she was acting when she was in the 7-eleven is really reminding me of how Elisa Lam was acting in the elevator, looking outside like she was being followed and acting paranoid
Also reminds me of Katelyn Louder who was captured walking her dog in a parking lot barefoot after it had rained, animatedly talking to no one then running away off camera as the last moments recorded.
Highway of tears is also a huge missing person's case in BC, Canada. Lots of indigenous women and girls have gone missing and the media tries not to cover it which makes it even weirder I hope new leads come to Emma's case!
The fifth estate did a documentary about it, and the private detective said its so hard getting information from the police force despite having served in the police
You should talk about Blance Monnier. She was locked up in her own house for 25 years by her mother and brother + there are pictures of her of before and after.
There's an old saying that goes "Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean there isn't someone out to get me." I feel like she could both have been mentally ill and also stalked. Think about all the cases Bailey has covered where sadistic people targeted mentally ill and/or homeless women. My gut says that guy tearing down her posters knew where she was and was taking advantage of her condition in some way. I sincerely hope she's found alive and can return to her family and get help. Poor woman! ☹
My ex had schizophrenia. He used to tell me, “just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean someone is not out to get you.” So honestly both could be true for Emma.
I agree. My mom's aunt (my great aunt?), Was a schizophrenic. She was incredibly paranoid and often just made up stories or scenarios in her head. There is a possibility that Emma had the unfortunate luck of having an abusive partner or friend who gave her cause to be even more paranoid. But based on her friends accounts, I hope not. Personally, I think she might be alive but maybe even thinks people don't want to see her. Either way, poor thing and I hope she got the help she needed and is off the grid.
She is actually at the age where skitzophrenia often presents itself and her symptoms match up. I feel so heartbroken for this girl and her family. I hope she is safe somewhere.
I thought the same, early to mid 20s, paranoia, boughts of unresponsiveness, the furniture talking to her? Auditory hallucinations are the most common. She's likely alive somewhere and can't communicate who she is or give information about family. I hope someone, somewhere, is keen enough to recognize her.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I just lost my father not too long after losing my brother. Grief can be absolutely overwhelming. I hope things get easier for you💙💔 these kind of videos keep my mind off of the loss as well so I relate to that😔
Tonya, Wish I could give you the biggest, warmest hug! I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. Sending endless prayers and healing your way my love. Your husband is now the wind beneath your wings 💕
The first thing I thought was the similarities between Emma's case and Elisa Lam's case. Like Emma, Elisa was also reported missing and as acting very strange and paranoid. These are the types of cases that will haunt me forever, I think mainly because of how they're either unsolved or the lack of concrete 'yes' or 'no' answers.
Yeah but how did Elisa get in that tank with the lid shut? I'm just thinking theres ppl out there who look for women exhibiting those symptoms to prey on them. The other thing is seems Emma was not afraid to get in car with strangers so unfortunately she may have gotten a ride from the wrong person.
Sooo does anyone else think that the “boyfriend” in the store may be her stalker AND probably knows where she is and that’s why he doesn’t want posters up? Mmmhhhmm just sayin 💁♀️
So i live in Vancouver and work like a block away from Gastown and i dont know if i would put much credit to that guy. This area isnt the greatest, lots of homeless and transient people. Im thinking this man may have just been under the influence of some kind and saw the picture and declared her his gf.
well technically like the police was called ion her like 3 times but they couldnt do anything because shes a legal adult and cant just take her away when she said that shes ok multiple times
I was thinking the same thing. The "friend" who asked her 1st if anything was wrong and she said yes, and they just let it go makes me think the word friends is used the wrong way with this poor woman. She had many acquaintances who liked her, but no real friends. The people labeled as her friends and even her family behaved strangely towards her imo. The staff at the shelter where she was staying seems to be the only ones who acted like they cared.
Right! Her family should have got her help too. A parent can tell when their child needs some type of help. Her behavior was the evidence. No phone, job, sleeping in trees. They all jus failed her tbh.
@@Starkisssed111 I was wondering what would they do if they did find her now since they never bothered to help her b4 when she clearly needed it. Her behavior wasn't "free spirited" after a while, it was troubled and troubling. Her mom let her debate for DAYS about "come" "don't come" instead of just flying out after day one. Ppl always want to "help" after ish already happens.
From my experience sounds like she may have been schizophrenic (her “free spirit-ness”, inability to hold jobs or no desire..) and as it progressed she just went her own way and she may have ended up in a bad situation unknowingly. 25 is like a textbook age when this occurs in women also . Sad story .
Oh thats super possible too. I totally thought she might have really advanced OCD. The making patterns, the disordered eating, and the fixation with living a "pure" lifestyle are pretty textbook.
I agree. My aunt and great grandmother had schizophrenia. I was think OCD while listening but hearing that Emma would go back and forth between her mom coming, I immediately thought schizophrenia. Very very possible and coincides with the evidence from witnesses.
My sister was exhibiting some of the behaviors that she was experiencing. She most likely could have suffered a psychotic break or she was developing schizophrenia.
I was working at Starbucks and I helped a woman on two different days and she smelled strange, acted strange and he had an outfit on that was wrong for the weather. A day later I found her missing poster And was able to call the family. She was found later that day because other people found her. But yeah she was schizophrenic and thought she was being stalked. At one point a fireman tried to help her and she got scared and left. I’m wondering if that’s the case for Emma. I hope she’s found
i think the man that said he was her boyfriend was her stalker and he assaulted her and that’s why she didn’t want to be around men and she became paranoid and ran away
Kylee Grace after that she might had felt guilty about the assault happening essentially blaming herself for it and thus becoming -not only paranoid about being around men but also- distant from friends and family because she didn’t want to upset and scary them which if you look into that behavior pattern it’s actually pretty common in females who have been assault victims. It’s really sad 😔
Jessie Seabourne i’m pretty sure that’s not stockholme syndrome, i’m pretty sure it’s when you practically forget everything your abuser/kidnapper has done to you (metaphorically) and fall in love with him/her.
@@susushisushi"Stockholm syndrome has been defined as a condition in which hostages develop a psychological alliance with their captors during captivity. ... A hostage's development of positive feelings towards the captor. No previous relationship between hostage and captor." You are correct. Another part of Stockholmes syndrome is justifying your abuser's behavior. You love them so much they can do no wrong and everything they did to you had a reason behind it. Most often caused by you somehow.
That would be a great topic! I hear a lot of the people who go missing end up sufferring fron dissociative fugue. It's crazy how your brain can just change your whole life!
CarolineGotFans they knew she was in a homeless shelter. The friends she made there were mostly homeless people and street performers. So they were just as much in the same position as her unfortunately :/
I just can’t believe someone can be alive & “missing” for years & never contact someone in their life. That just seems so crazy to me. I’m from Toronto Ontario & I remember how crazy this was here when it first happened.
Timothy Wilson I was about to say this sounds like an episode I had when I was nine! Where you don’t know what’s real and fake it’s like a dream and is scary af
A few years ago they found a woman in Germany who had gone "missing" 30 years ago. She had simply started a new life under a false name after she had failed her university exams.
Right. I'm not saying that she did not meet with foul play but if I was her mother and I flew all the way across the country to help her fly back and then the kid changed her mind when I got there that's the problem I'm trying to describe. How's the mother deal with things like this?
Just imagine that you could walk past a missing person and never know. If she's still alive she could walk right past you and you'll not even notice. Idk maybe it's just me but that seems crazy
Between Emma's story and the Elisa Lam story. We need to stop and ask people if they're ok more often and follow through when we see they clearly are not ok.
Sounds like this poor girl was having a psychotic break. Anyone here heard of Eliza Lamm? The stories seem similar to me. I hope the endings aren't the same, though. 😢
Yeah I think I’ve heard of Elisa, is she the woman who was supposedly playing the elevator game and she was found dead in the water tank or something???
It sounds like she developed schizophrenia. Clinical manifestations start to appear around mid twenties and include paranoia, delusions, etc. Hope she is found safely soon. 🥺
When you were talking about a man who was found 20 years later, it reminded me of what I learned in my psychology class! Apparently, there's this disorder called dissociative amnesia and it separates the person from themselves following a traumatic event. People have even forgotten who they were. I remember in class my prof told us about a man who completely disappeared and went to work for one of those dishwasher jobs in another state. Five years later, he remembered who he was, but he couldn't remember the events after he disappeared to another state. Not entirely sure if it's related to the case you were talking about, but there are cases like this out there!
I wonder how this disorder relates to the brain's functions with DID. Amnesiac barriers in the brain are SO interesting and it's such a let down that there isn't more wide spread information and studies available on these cases
I have C+PTSD and borderline personality disorder. I also have a form of memory disorder that stems from these disorders together. I can't remember VERY important information or even unimportant details that most people have zero problems remembering. I forgot an appointment 30 min after i made it yesterday for a small example. HOWEVER my memory dysfunction causes me to remember EVERY dream i have ever had. I remember dreams from when i was 5 years old about Oscar the grouch stealing my carrots... It is almost like the traumas from my childhood caused my brain to flip a memory switch over away from reality to protect me. 🤷someone in this thread said they found these things interesting so i figured I'd share. Be safe
@@katherinestier1900 I think it's one of the branches of dissociative amnesia. Sorry, I'm not entirely an expert in this field of psych and I took the class two years ago. D: I can definitely see if I can e-mail my old prof about it
@@beccanarae Makes sense! I was just asking because I was looking into it for something I'm writing. I'll definitely do more research about it. Thanks for the help!
Ugh this is heartbreaking! Early/mid twenties is when people with schizophrenia begin to show symptoms. I hope that she is just blending in with various homeless communities in different areas and is safe. Hopefully someone will recognize her and call in. I cant imagine what her family is going through :(
same, i think she was really being followed. her ex got in trouble with emma's dad for stalking her before then followed her to victoria. i think she left to go somewhere else without telling anybody so her stalker couldnt find her.
Hey Bailey, Paralegal here! It’s okay to make “assumptions” based on logic and reasoning of what you presume happened! Whether through process of elimination or trying to figure out motivation for why people do things.. you are very bright, trust your intuition!
Sounds like Emma was suffering from a psychological event. It's possible that she is still alive and living a homeless life. Maybe she doesnt want to be found...
Look into Kimberly Flint please. She’s my aunt, went missing 2 years ago. We have zero leads, the story has been on the news and we have no idea as to where she went. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She went missing from Texas.
You might contact the Unfound podcast too - he does in-depth interviews with family members of people who are missing, and that could be another way to bring attention to the case. I hope you find her 🙏
how does this girl have so many friends and NONE OF THEM had any idea about where she lives or what she does or how she's holding up mentally???? my friends are always so nosy I can't give them vague answers
She became friends with a bunch of homeless people and that's why they weren't as concerned with where she was and where she lived she was homeless as well.
You are very lucky. I have a feeling she was the type of person who WAS the concerning friend. She was the one to ask how her friends were and to take care of them before herself. Also I heard that most of her friends were homeless as well so they probably didn't keep track of her whereabouts.
My friends and I don't know much about each other's whereabouts, where we live, what each one of us exactly does for a living since it changes constantly, and we don't care about each other's private lives that much. Sure, if something is wrong or bothering any of us, we can always can count on one another but, other than that, we don't ask and don't really care to find out. We love each other but refrain from being nosy and intrusive. Besides, my friends and I are very introverted that is why we don't like to put ourselves and our emotions out there, into the world. We have tons of things to talk about or do other than discuss our feelings and everyday lives. Live and let live. 🙂
Bailey, so I'm having a thought..Since you have so many followers..maybe you can do a "missing persons" weekly episode. You never know who can help locate the missing and bring them home to there loved ones. Maybe on Wednesdays You can call it.. Where is ????
Kendall rae already has a “where is” series! If you haven’t seen it you should check it out, but I agree Bailey should do that! Def not with that name though
This is a GREAT idea!! A lot of people can't afford cable or all of the subscriptions to the different networks nowadays, but can always watch these videos. The missing persons would get a lot of exposure on here!
I’m a clinical social worker. Her behaviors and even the way she’s dressed in the clips/pictures indicate she was probably suffering from schizophrenia. Such a sad story.
It's weird that Emma's mom was able to find out how long Emma was at the shelter over the phone. That's a huge risk at a women's shelter? People are often there escaping abusers, anyone could pretend to be a relative over the phone, that information should've never left the staff member's mouth.
Valery I think she was as bailey said that the employees in the shelter wanted to call her mum, but couldn’t because of like protection and cause she was 25 11:30
Her Mom came to Victoria, where I live and also Vancouver, across on the ferry. She searched and asked questions tirelessly. Perhaps it was not on the phone and someone reported it wrong because they have extremely strict codes of not giving out any info on women. I know because my Sons birth Mother was in a womens shelter for months. Could be the police helped. Be well
There was a lady found here in Florida. She ended up in the ER during the coronavirus. She had family information in her purse. They called the family. She had been missing for like six months and was from Minnesota.
I think her so called “boyfriend”, the man with the green shirt was harassing her and stalking her. She probably did have schizophrenia and didn’t know how to deal with the situation correctly. She might’ve been lost and when she saw the missing persons poster, she took it down so her “boyfriend” couldn’t find her.
Schizophrenia was the first thing I thought of too, bless her heart. And also thought the “green shirt” man may be stalking her. I pray she’s okay and gets the help she needs.
In every single case, Bailey presents we have cop problems. This reminds me so much of the Mitrice Richardson story. These police officers need better training...maybe they should learn from the failures of their past idols.
I was thinking the same thing. Just because these people are adults doesn’t mean that they don’t need help or assistance. I feel like too many cops don’t have any sort of empathy. Had I been a cop in either of these situations, I would have tried to talk with these girls and maybe get them some help.
Ok so I’m reading psychology as university and have done a lot of research on schizophrenia recently. This really sounds like a case of schizophrenia. Delusions (strongly held incorrect beliefs) are a very common symptom and can lead to thinking everyday events have significance relating to you. It is possible Emma had been harassed/stalked and then began to associate unrelated events with this stalker and believe he had followed her and that she needed to dissappear. Auditory hallucinations are also a very common symptom. The part where you mentioned Emma saying the furniture was talking to her seemed very indicative of that. Other relevant symptoms it seems like Emma was displaying include a tendency to withdraw socially, starting fewer conversations and talking less and habitual, repetitive movements (like Emma’s pacing). I’ve literally only heard of this case here but it sounds to me as though emma’s delusion of being followed/actual stalker could have increased to the point where she could have decided her mother was in some way involved in her paranoia. As schizophrenia doesn’t decrease the patients iq, this would not have stopped her from planing a way to disappear and would explain the claims that she was tearing down missing person posters, not wanting to be found. Idk but there’s my two cents
Also her hearing the radio in the taxi and thinking it’s about her links into the delusional stuff - it’s called a delusion of reference and is hugely common for schiphrenic patients
So I'm from Perth I went to high school with her she was very creative girl into art lots of friends. The saddest part about this entire story you kind of touched on her parents got divorced, her mom has never gotten over it; her whole life revolves around trying to find Emma. Someone told me once that Emma left a voicemail on their answering machine before her disappearance and Shelley didn't want to delete it because it's all she had left.
For some reason this one moved me deeply. I think it's because I know several people who have a lifestyle similar to Emma's. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating this lifestyle with the respect it deserves. Not all who wander, are lost. 💜 I also used to work on Vancouver Island and knew all of the places you mentioned. I could picture her there. I feel like she's out there somewhere, living a life. I really hope so.
Parts of this story sounds like Emma was sexually assaulted. I'm sure there were issues she had mentally that maybe she didn't know how to acknowledge, but the paranoia of someone following her and her hesitation to be around any situations with men, makes me think someone assaulted her and stalked her after. Just my theory
Excellent theiry. And if her terror and jimpiness popped off because her Mom was jumping on a plane and coming to get her over her latest objections - ahe could have been secxualky assaulted even repeatedly over years at hime by a family member stepDad friend or significant other of her Mother's etc. This is injury is one of the most understood sources of non-war related ptsd.
It really is. I was diagnosed with Complex Ptsd. My past had permanently changed the fundamental parts of what makes me , Me. I will never know who I could've been if only I had been protected.
The difference in her pictures say alot. Schizophrenia does progress, and psychotic breaks, leave them confused,& lost. Off topic, but you're Stunning with black hair.
It's so frustrating how her symptoms seem so obvious now that we see her patterns, but to those people who see her every once and while, it's just an isolated incident to them.
@@kaileeessmann4254 I was gonna comment: Moms, moms have food in their purse lol. I had a young adult male tell me he liked hanging out with moms bc they always had snacks, no matter where or when, snacks! Lol
I know this is an older video but I have been binging your videos the past couple weeks. Crazy to hear you talk about the city I live in, I even worked at the Chateau Victoria for 6 years. Started not long after Emma went missing. Her story is very well known here
I ain’t even call she had the key to my house walked in on me in a depression pit and cleaned my whole whole apartment and unclogged my drains. Mummy instincts🥺
I can see where the mom is coming from when you think about the geography of Canada. Perth is a tiny town in Ontario you can't just fly out of there as you wish. And then Victoria is an Island thousands of kms away, there are barely any direct flights flying from there to Ontario. A flight from Ontario to Victoria isn't cheap... you are talking about $800 return and a whole day of travelling. So considering they were having regular contact I could see how the mom was worried but not in a state of emergency yet...
Love that you’re bringing awareness to the stories of the “forgotten people” who live on the fringes of society. They’re STILL human beings with friends and family who love and miss them.
At first I read that as fridges of society instead of fringes and I was just like yikes!...cannibalism? 🧐 I’ve been watching too many Bailey true crime stories and Criminal Minds 🤣
I've been following this case since she first disappeared. Her Mom is still looking for answers 😭 I follow her on Facebook, I can't imagine my baby girl missing for 11 years, it's just unfathomable. Her case is so bizarre. 😢
This story makes me so sad. There is nothing worse than having a loved one missing, my sister was missing for a period of time and it was the worst. Sadly someone killed her in a hit-and-run as she was crossing the street but at least I knew what happened to her, when a loved one is missing your mind can go into very dark places
One of my husband’s best friends from college went off the grid for two months, until he called from his hometown and said “sorry for how strange I’ve been and disappearing like that. But I’ve been diagnosed with schizophrenia.” Prior to his disappearance, he went from a normal 25 year old student teacher and athlete to completely paranoid and violent. I hear of this happening to people like my husband’s friend, I’m sure it’s a lot more common than we realize.
Erica Miramontes Me as well. I heard of a girl who was thought to be kidnapped for 10 years until she wondered into a store with torn up clothes and distraught. They found out that her schizophrenia symptoms became more prevalent and she just walked out of her apartment one day and never returned. She lived under bridges and had no idea who she was or how she got there. It is actually very common in the schizophrenic community, especially when family members and friends have no idea it runs in the family and don’t catch the symptoms before it’s too late.
My dad is actually like that at heart, he lived in Kauai when he was in his 20s-ish lived off the land made money on banana plantations, slept on the beach the whole 9. I know if he had the money and no worries about his family he'd totally be there right now.
FBIMOUS377 I feel like this would have been me in another life. Like alternate-timeline me. I could definitely get used to that life and can see why people would do that. Or I can see living in the forest as a park ranger or backpacking/rafting trip guide.

She's likely alive somewhere and can't communicate who she is or give information about family. I hope someone, somewhere, is keen enough to recognize her.

Also Mitrice Richardson
@@92pbanks yes Mitrice came to mind when I read the comment
Yeah but how did Elisa get in that tank with the lid shut? I'm just thinking theres ppl out there who look for women exhibiting those symptoms to prey on them. The other thing is seems Emma was not afraid to get in car with strangers so unfortunately she may have gotten a ride from the wrong person.
Sooo does anyone else think that the “boyfriend” in the store may be her stalker AND probably knows where she is and that’s why he doesn’t want posters up? Mmmhhhmm just sayin 💁♀️
Mollie Perry thats what I thought:/
Mollie Perry 100% agree
So i live in Vancouver and work like a block away from Gastown and i dont know if i would put much credit to that guy. This area isnt the greatest, lots of homeless and transient people. Im thinking this man may have just been under the influence of some kind and saw the picture and declared her his gf.
Super Suspishh*
pretty sure they found him and he turned out to be not connected.
When she started saying “she was high on the grass” I did not think she was talking about a hill at first 🤣🤣
I'm going to google this right now, look at more pictures of her. She looks oddly familiar to this woman I gave money to in northern Alberta.
SAME here 😂😭
@@sneakerburner7868 was it her u think?

Same! 🤣
This girl Emma had a lot “friends”. Way too many of them that saw her acting strange out on the street acting strange and did nothing to help her.
well technically like the police was called ion her like 3 times but they couldnt do anything because shes a legal adult and cant just take her away when she said that shes ok multiple times
but i agree they needed to try harder
Those lashes , that hair, the lip combo, todays story I’m living for today’s video!
Love the “blackish should be brown” tho! Brings out your eyes 😁
Sad
My sister was exhibiting some of the behaviors that she was experiencing. She most likely could have suffered a psychotic break or she was developing schizophrenia.
The making patterns out of things is actually environmental art there's a movement about it
I was working at Starbucks and I helped a woman on two different days and she smelled strange, acted strange and he had an outfit on that was wrong for the weather.
@@applechips1031 Isn't Stockholm syndrome the one where you 'fall in love" with your abuser?
Jessie Seabourne i’m pretty sure that’s not stockholme syndrome, i’m pretty sure it’s when you practically forget everything your abuser/kidnapper has done to you (metaphorically) and fall in love with him/her.
@@susushisushi"Stockholm syndrome has been defined as a condition in which hostages develop a psychological alliance with their captors during captivity. ... Jessie Seabourne yes but you aren’t blaming yourself, you’re justifying it with love
You should do a whole video on missing people who’ve been found years later that would be really interesting!
That would be a great topic! I hear a lot of the people who go missing end up sufferring fron dissociative fugue. It's crazy how your brain can just change your whole life!

how are they calling themselves "friends" when they saw her outside a homeless shelter, cold and alone AND NOT HELP HER!!! crazy
CarolineGotFans they knew she was in a homeless shelter. The friends she made there were mostly homeless people and street performers. So they were just as much in the same position as her unfortunately :/
Right
This is SOOO SAD... at least the other stories have endings... i hope they find her
Because theyre homeless too lol duh
right but maybe they were scared but i would of offered her a ride or like you know anything honestly
I just can’t believe someone can be alive & “missing” for years & never contact someone in their life. That just seems so crazy to me. I’m from Toronto Ontario & I remember how crazy this was here when it first happened.
that's called a severe personality disorder not the kind which is very mild but the psychologist still feels a compulsion to diagnose it
Timothy Wilson I was about to say this sounds like an episode I had when I was nine! Where you don’t know what’s real and fake it’s like a dream and is scary af
Timothy Wilson That sounds frightening. Poor Emma, I hope she is alive & her family finds her somehow.
Yea it is!

100% this is schizophrenia, if not schizoaffective disorder
But who was the green shirt guy then? His words and behavior are deeply disturbing.
That's what I was thinking 😔
Becca Kim is this similar to a Fugue state, or is it something different?
Be safe

how does this girl have so many friends and NONE OF THEM had any idea about where she lives or what she does or how she's holding up mentally???? my friends are always so nosy I can't give them vague answers
She became friends with a bunch of homeless people and that's why they weren't as concerned with where she was and where she lived she was homeless as well.
You're a lucky person then, you should be grateful for your amazing friends.
Maybe on Wednesdays
You can call it..
Yessssssss
This is great idea!! How about Find (insert missing person name here) . Fridays? I really love love that idea since theres so many missing people.
It’s a great idea but Bailey probably works hard researching these cases. I don’t know if she has the time to do two a week.
I’m a clinical social worker. Her behaviors and even the way she’s dressed in the clips/pictures indicate she was probably suffering from schizophrenia. Such a sad story.
These types of stories give me the chills, I hope that wherever she is that she's safe
It's weird that Emma's mom was able to find out how long Emma was at the shelter over the phone. That's a huge risk at a women's shelter? People are often there escaping abusers, anyone could pretend to be a relative over the phone, that information should've never left the staff member's mouth.
alex they probably only said because they were desperate to get someone she knew to help since she was acting weird
Oh definitely, but in this case, maybe it’s excusable?
Maybe she was listed as one of Emma’s emergency contact phone numbers
Valery I think she was as bailey said that the employees in the shelter wanted to call her mum, but couldn’t because of like protection and cause she was 25

My exact thoughts, explained better than I would have done 👍
yes i think that too, like maybe she actually rlly did disappear on her own, to escape her stalker

Thanks for this input it makes me think that maybe she is just hiding out of fear from her delusions.
please leave the diagnosing to the professionals!

How sad
💔💔💔
That is so heart breaking.
That’s so sad I can’t even imagine
I wonder what became of her impounded véhicle and contents, what was in her camera, in her journals?
For some reason this one moved me deeply. I think it's because I know several people who have a lifestyle similar to Emma's. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating this lifestyle with the respect it deserves. Not all who wander, are lost. 💜
I also used to work on Vancouver Island and knew all of the places you mentioned.

Asrar I think she looks like the lead singer of Everlife but I can see what you’re saying too
*Mila
Just started watching! I totally agree. Mila Kunis, fo sure.
That’s so true
Yah
"I have to stop making assumptions" please don't, that's the best part.
she could get in trouble
This story makes me so sad. There is nothing worse than having a loved one missing, my sister was missing for a period of time and it was the worst. Sadly someone killed her in a hit-and-run as she was crossing the street but at least I knew what happened to her, when a loved one is missing your mind can go into very dark places
Hope your doing ok🥺💘
Oh, gosh, hugs to you.
Ohh.. I'm so sorry. May she rest in peace dear❤
Sorry for your loss, May she rest in peace❤️.
What a sad story, sorry to you and your family 😔
This is one of my favorite makeup looks, Bailey. Gorgeous!
I thought of schizophrenia right away by her habits!
That’s around the age schizophrenia typically manifests
This happened to my baby brother 😓
My dad is actually like that at heart, he lived in Kauai when he was in his 20s-ish lived off the land made money on banana plantations, slept on the beach the whole 9. I know if he had the money and no worries about his family he'd totally be there right now.
FBIMOUS377 I feel like this would have been me in another life. Like alternate-timeline me. I could definitely get used to that life and can see why people would do that. Or I can see living in the forest as a park ranger or backpacking/rafting trip guide.
the dark hair and smokey eys look stunning. loving the candles too
