Das Einzige, was ich an den neuen Mercedes-Modellen auszusetzen habe, die sich untereinander deutlich mehr unterscheiden, als die von Audi und BMW, ist die Nomenklatur: das "d" am Ende ist mir zu Nahe an BMW dran, CDI gefällt mir besser. Ich denke mal, das liegt damit zusammen, dass dem hiesigen Autofahrer bei CDI schwarze Stinke-Dieselwolken im Kopf herumschweben, noch Erinnerungen an die alten Modelle vor 2005. Damit will man den Diesel wohl als umweltfreundlicher verkaufen.
I have an Autobahn question: I've read so many different opinions, but when driving fast (200+) is it done or not done to indicate left constantly? I think it is not but others think that indicating left to show you're driving fast is normal...
Elias Evers You don't have to indicate left when driving on the left lane (and fast), but for safety reasons I (and some others) do this to even better show that there is a fast vehicle coming from behind.
Elias Evers Flashing lights of course is something that will help us to see you, but it drives hectic and pressure on the Autobahn so I would recommend not to do it. The left indicator is ok and should one be considered as safe by others not arrogant.

It is the old engine, but it is quick enough, it is efficient and I bought it at 20% discount brand new, because they have sale on some models to stimulate sales in my country (Bulgaria). The newer model is the 220d, but it was made just to make the car cheaper and it is not really fast, but if you don't care that much about the power (cause I don't care much) you can even go for the 220d - it is 3-4k (in euro) cheaper.
fe1138lix Hab mich gestern Abend länger mit der Produktmanagerin unterhalten. 3 Liter Diesel kommt zwar nicht morgen, aber die denken ernsthaft über stärkere Diesel nach, als nächstes kommt ja erstmal das GLC Coupe, also quasi der X4 Konkurrent.
Das Optimum sollen doch 8 Gänge sein (weitere Gänge sollen keinen Effizienzgewinn bringen, da das Mehrgewicht etc. überwiegt). Warum dann 9? Einfach 'ne "Ich hab den Größten"-Aktion? Sonst ein sehr, sehr schickes Auto :)
What a torture over 160 km/h. Heavy wind noise, what a pity, no improvement to the C-Class. I like this car, it has a lot of fottwell (???) in the rear, more than the new e-class or c-class. Unfortunately the GLC is a very heavy car.

Superb auto gearbox on Mercedes. The steering on every model is also perfectly weighted and precise at any speed.
is it with air body control ? maybe can you try GLC 250 benzin ? it's c.a. 100kg less than diesel.

I believe the GLC300 is the most powerful aside from the GLC43/63 AMG models. It has 241hp. I have the 300.
