Looks a bit funky now but it will get better as they improve it i think, but it's good to see realistic destruction, also finally realistic afterburners, ace combat did it in 2004! But it's better now than never.
I wished Ray Tracing would be more commonly used by consumers, so Ray Tracing Reflections could be even more widespread integrated more heavily into gameplay. I love that they did it in WT, it's I think the first game where you can actively utilize that feature other than it just looking pretty
Given how hard-assed Gaijin is about optimizing for people playing on toasters, I doubt that the vehicle deformation and water physics would even make it into the live server. Also, tf is up with the RTX x glass windows? it's a window, not a mirror. You're not gonna see a perfect reflection of the entire street from across the road.
they will revise water and cloud physics another twenty times before you can knock down all the various types of houses and other brittle scenery. right now a humble brick or a gutter can absorb anything.
I like how they keep improving the fire effects for destroyed tanks.. ….even though the effect is immediately replaced by the tiny idle fire when someone respawns so you can only see it for a few seconds at a time
5:46 the white trails on the wingtips are wingtip vortices and they are caused by a pressure instability between each side of the wing creating a spiral wake behind the wingtip, it only occurs if the wings are creating lift.
@@RalphyRoots Well the reworked map does not have an impact on FPS.So basically it stays the same as before.To have RTX enabled you need to have at least the RTX 2060 which will run bad but turning DLSS to performance and virtualy scaling resolution helps a lot. Well at least it was for me like that. With RTX 3060 I was able to get around 50-60 FPS on DLSS Native ( sometimes dips around 30 when GPU overheats ) and on Performance mode 90-120 fps.
I think the new physics for the vehicles is like gta franchise In others gta if the car flips you were forced to see it in flames and then it blows up but in gta 5 you were able to flip back to normal, which is not realistic but is better than your car flip and be forced to see it flames and then blow up

My laptop with RTX 2060 should do fun with all of this new stuf, even despite it being older card. After it took Cyberpunk with ray tracing on and with maximum graphic settings, I will not be surprised if it handle WT the same way)

Yup after a while the FPS drops because the GPU is overheating. But I was recording with RTX ON and DLSS set to Native....put it to Performance mode and you should be good

Irl a tank would just rip through the bus, not magically compress it down like that. For cars it makes sense, the tracks would be able to climb over it, but not the bus. Just my two cents. Still happy with it though

I think the reason the new car physics seem goofy is because there is no sound. I think adding crunching sounds would improve it a lot
