I want to give props to Aliyah Core the influencer who popularized this fashion trend. Before Latto, before Spice, Aliyah Core did it and it's her signature style. In fashion blogs and all over social media, Tik Tok especially, you can see people wearing this style and crediting Aliyah Core. Which is where I personally think Spice or her stylist got it from. Edit: I'm not saying Aliyah created that style. But as I said that's who I personally think of when I see new-age celebs in that aesthetic, the ones who keep up with trends. A lot of younger people who dress this way credit Aliyah Core and it's easy to see the influence. This style is a mixture of Kawaii, Y2k, and alternative fashion, it has been done before obviously. Nothing is ever 100% original everyone gets an idea from somewhere, someone, or something including Aliyah. But the style is true to her and it's her signature.

I want to give props to Aliyah Core the influencer who popularized this fashion trend. Before Latto, before Spice, Aliyah Core did it and it's her signature style. In fashion blogs and all over social media, Tik Tok especially, you can see people wearing this style and crediting Aliyah Core. Which is where I personally think Spice or her stylist got it from.
Edit: I'm not saying Aliyah created that style. But as I said that's who I personally think of when I see new-age celebs in that aesthetic, the ones who keep up with trends. A lot of younger people who dress this way credit Aliyah Core and it's easy to see the influence. This style is a mixture of Kawaii, Y2k, and alternative fashion, it has been done before obviously. Many artists work with different producers, etc who have rotated through artists but the DNA of the artist shows in the style and work.
