i completely agree!!! i like in potomac, maryland and nightwish is how i get throw my life becuz they are sooo amazing!! i really hope they come back in the spring becuz annette was sick last time they came here, but i got to meet them :) except for annette since she was sick

Marco is definitely holding back and he didn't have to with Tarja and wirh he can go all out. Floor makes thecsong a little more exciting or more energetic.
The only thing I don't like about their live performances of this song is that Marco doesn't jump in on the "HOWL!" like he does on the CD. That said--Anette is *amazing*. Her singing on "Light the fire, FEAST!" completely redeems it for me. Anette ftw.
guys its this simple: Anette has a storyteller voice....soft, motherly, compassionate, there's magic in the way she does the songs, Tuomas himself said they picked her due to the way her voice told a story which they wanted MORE than a copycat of Tarja. Floor: Obviously floor has a darker 'color' to her voice which gives the illusion that Anette lacks 'power' in her voice but this isnt the case. Anette is capable of projecting her voice in powerful ways too but they are also two very different singers! Floor is wonderful and while i did personally enjoy Tarja and Anette more than what i've seen of Floor thus far that does NOT mean I cant appreciate Floor or see that she is the proper fit for Nightwish at PRESENT. So lets not judge the past or compare, lets be happy each singer has contributed something unique and special and look to the future. Tarja has her own work, Anette is part of 'The Dark Element' and doing work with Russell Allen and now Floor has her own solo project and Nightwish as well. They're all doing their own thing and still bringing us wonderful music, so lets not let our personal preferences get in the way of savoring the beauty that is Nightwish (in each unique era).

You make it sound like clean vocals are out of the norm, have you forgotten the rest of the Heavy metal Subgenre that doesn't sing in Operatic vocals? She's actually Soprano from what I understand.

@yyhkingsburg It's most likely the quality of the youtube video. Different vids on youtube you can hear the different instruments better and worse. It's all contingent on recording quality and what the tube can handle. And apparently it can't handle Marco's awesomeness.

It is kinda more Anette than anyone else. But what I want to know is why she totally ruined her hair by cutting it short. I loved it like it was before.
anette recorded very good material...still, I think she is not very good singing her material in a live scenario, if you listen to tarja singing live you can see a raelly bug difference bettwen the singing skills of tarja and anett, tarja can hit a really high note but anette dosen't really even try to do it. Ireally have to say Tarja is better than Anette
Anette is nothing special live. She does these little moves that reminds me of a girl playing air guitar in her room while listening to a band like simple plan or something. She's a good singer though.
