My friendships are low maintenance and they are only deep. They know me so well and there is never a time when I couldn't call on them for anything at all. We are adults and understand life is happening and we don't need to talk all the time. 25 plus years to 10 years to 2 years friendships.
agreed.i used to have a low maintenance friend but not anymore.whenever i wanna deep dive a topic with her, she seems uninterested and seems like not wanting to have a meaningful convo. im okay with being sitted in silence with her, but it seems hard to getting to know her since she is emotionally unavailable.on the other hand im wlways longing for her careness and intimacy but talking to a person like that seems like throwing pebbles in the lake.doesnt have effect .sometimes i feel that she is forced to hanging out with me
I would never deep dive with a low maintenance friend unless is just a specific common topic like career development. Some friends are just a waste of time hanging out with cause they just don't value add to your life. As you get older, you more or less give up being an initiator for gatherings.

okay, im an introvert, idk about my 6 other friends, but i and 1 friend are the only ones inviting so no its not an extrovert thing
