Inspiring as always, Lois! I so appreciate that you talk through your painting decisions and also share the colors & brushes you're using as you progress. What a GREAT teacher you are-!
I think this piece is lovely, in large part because of its simplicity and lack of adornment. Your use of the leftover mixture of colors on your tray is brilliant. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Another athmospheric painting from you, soooo peacefull and lovely, thank you so much, Lois! I'm just waiting for the next tutorial... Greetings from Germany!
Thank you so much for sharing your watercolor techniques with us! I really enjoying watching your painting process and also enjoy your explicit explanation. Love ❤️ hope you stay safe too!
Wow another beautiful journey. I thought this painting looked liked cuckmere and then you said it. I live near there and have been on walks along there many a time. So great to see another artistic view of this beautiful place.
As a watercolourist of many decades I always stretch my paper. 140lb. .having watched many of your inspirational videos I have tried to just tape the paper to the board. Without success. It does buckle as expected. But it dries buckled as no expected. Please can you provide more information. Many thanks
Amazing Lois.I love your work.Because of you,I slowly start beliving in me.Your unique way of showiing us the beauty of watercolour is my great passion for this medium.PS.Where can I pourchas the rigger you are using? Please keep on the good work.Sorry for my english but I am a little more at ease in French.
Thanks! your English is good! Sadly the rigger was a gift so I am unable to suggest where to purchase one, there is no writing or brand name on it, but any good quality size 1 rigger should be fine!
I love your voice and vibe, could listen to you without even watching you paint 😅❤
Hoorah another wonderful. THANKYOU
Love these tones!
Very atmospheric, must try it.
I love the idea to complete a painting with the leftover paint, such a waste to just wash it off. Beautiful scene.
