Deguello is fire. Best album, in my opinion. Try Fool For Your Stockings. Fantastic tune.
My personal favorite ZZ tune.....in the vein of "You can leave your hat on."
Degüello is the most complete, most thorough ZZ album, ever.

It's definitely a classic. I've always loved Lowdown in the Street. I don't think I have a favorite ZZ Top album. Love em all. I'd probably choose "Tejas" because of personal nostalgic reasons, but not because it's better.

That little ol' band from Texas. That's ZZ Top. Ain't nobody like em. One of my favorites, always will be. Great tune from a classic album. You should check out some of their later music like the tune "Breakaway" or their cover of the Otis Redding song "Tramp". That's badass.
FYI, Billy Gibbons played at this year's Warren Haynes Christmas jam. Saw some videos on RUclips. Worth checking out.
West of the Mississippi sunglasses are a must in the summer. They make driving home heading west when the sun is setting so much easier. ZZ Top "Cheap Sunglasses" pairs well with The Chambers Brothers "Funky", at least they do on my playlist. 😄 When you're ready for more from ZZ Top, check out "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide", "Manic Mechanic", and their covers of the Elmore James classic "Dust My Broom" and the San & Dave classic "I Thank You". Guitar tone for days!
A later song that harkens back to their old stuff. So I like it a lot. There are some new touches here and there, but the soul is old time ZZ Top, which is why I like it a lot.

I have similar to you but different. Because early on especially when I started playing in bands, I wore sunglasses all the time. And it's such a fun thing to do and there's such a variety of cheap sunglasses but occasionally I would wear nice glasses too. But then years ago, I don't know something just changed and it's a novelty anymore if I go out with sunglasses on. I just like to be out there just as it is. But this song has so much fun with those ideas plus it's just a killer groove.
Yeah I'm bad I'm Nationwide that is so fun. But I would also throw in there, one of their blazing hits, Heard It On the X, which references some of the early musical influences from listening to Pirate Radio in Texas growing up.
Because of Tops die-hard fan base and, their Greatness…They got away with lyrics that most couldn’t…

I don't know what all of ZZ Top you have reviewed, but their cover of "Viva Las Vegas" is good. "My Head's In Missippi," "Tush," "Gimme All Your Lovin,'" "Sharp Dressed Man" "I'm Bad, I'm Nation Wide" are just a few.

The boys bringing a bit of funk, love it. Unfortunately, with my eyesight none of my sunglasses are cheap. LOL All three do tend to wear sunglasses on stage which adds to their coolness.

Waiting for the bus/Jesus just left Chicago is one/two I think you’d really dig. Great reaction, ‘ go out and get yourself some thick black frames with the glass so dark they don’t even know your name!’ They’re too cool, so proud to say these guys headlined my first concert.
