First off, I had to watch this video again because it’s so awesome! I cannot imagine how you got to spend your birthday on such an amazing airline. The first class suite does feel like a hotel room in the sky. I am most impressed on how the crew presented the birthday celebration with the cake, teddy bears, and dry ice. Not many airlines would do this. Honestly, if I were there, I’d probably order everything from the menu just to get the best experience. Overall, this must have been a dream experience that you will never forget.

You certainly had an enjoyable flight… The dress colours of the stewardesses and the stripes on the ties of the stewards reflects seniority: blue is flight stewardess / steward; green is leading stewardess / steward; red is chief stewardess / steward; and purple is inflight manager. (Before anyone else pulls me up for using those terms, Singapore Airlines still uses the terms steward and stewardess in its literature rather than flight attendant.)

Looking forward to more of your adventures. I don't think you are dressed "too sloppy" for first class. I feel a person should be comfortable when traveling. Regardless of what they wear. You mentioned the man across from you said he flew first class often. He wasn't wearing dressy clothes. You should wear what you are comfortable in when traveling.

Wear anything you are comfortable with. 1st class or economy it doesn’t matter. :) and you are right i’ve also seen other 1st class passenger with just shorts and a shirt.

I found they stopped flying the A380s on the Hong Kong to Singapore route. On a different note, I think it's ridiculous that some folks are getting on your case about what you wear in first class. Seriously, who made them the fashion police? You shelled out a ton of money (or points) for that ticket, so you have every right to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

The suite is poorly designed in some respects. Doesn’t make the most of the space and the chairs used to be facing the other suite passenger before on take off and landing leading to awkward staring competitions. You’re right about dressing comfortably in first class. I always wear pyjamas 😂
It is a bit awkward to face another passenger. In 1A , during landing and taking off, it is hard to see the window view because the window is behind the seat. But the fun part is that two seat can be combined into a double suite 😬😬😬.

I am impressed on how the crew presented the birthday celebration with the cake, teddy bears, and dry ice. Not many airlines would do this.

I found they stopped flying the A380s on the Hong Kong to Singapore route.
On a different note, I think it's ridiculous that some folks are getting on your case about what you wear in first class. Seriously, who made them the fashion police? You shelled out a ton of money (or points) for that ticket, so you have every right to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I actually got 3 this time, I got another one on my next flight from Singapore to Jakarta 😝. I am just wondering how often do they change the teddy bear style. The suite is poorly designed in some respects. Doesn’t make the most of the space and the chairs used to be facing the other suite passenger before on take off and landing leading to awkward staring competitions. You’re right about dressing comfortably in first class. I always wear pyjamas 😂
It is a bit awkward to face another passenger. In 1A , during landing and taking off, it is hard to see the window view because the window is behind the seat. But the fun part is that two seat can be combined into a double suite 😬😬😬.
