Gombaniya, being the highest mountain peak among 34 other mountains in Knuckles massif, is one of the highest in Sri Lanka. The elevation of the summit is estimated to be 1906 above sea level. Located at the Western side of the Knuckles mountain range, the hiking trail starts nearly 40km away from Mathale city. This area is ideal for hiking, camping, nature photography and vlogging
