When i have programmed my A & B and start Timelapse in JOY, the gimbal starts Timelapse video, but jump immediately to the middle position and do not the movement from a to B. Any ideas ?
A/B buttons are independent from the timelapse/video mode that you’re in. If you’re looking to capture your time lapse with the Hohem Joy app and the Timelapse mode I would just simply do a time lapse without any path, that way mode doesn’t override the A/B preset.
Hi, I bought M6 today for my google pixel 8 pro and realised that the A/B customisation is not supported on it. I tried to find firmware update but there wasn’t any. The other modes work well and I hope the videos turn out acceptable. So, for me the option would be to use the hohem app to set the time-lapse direction and custom it if i want, right? Thanks Abhishek
Congrats on your M6! Check put this link! AB function is standard regardless of your smartphone but I understand that the app may or may not show the A/B duration menu. Hope this helps! www.hohem.com/tutorial/isteady-m6/m6-buttons
At the mode options is only see fixed and custom not the preset left to right and vice versa. Also I can’t get a 360° Timelapse to work any suggestions?
No it’s not doing 360 and in the app I see only fixed and custom. It stops halfway and then goes back to the starting point and records the other way to complet the points. So not working.
@@youtube-arjan have you tried adjusting the time lapse duration? Maybe try the A/B buttons alternative after adjusting the duration in the Hohem Joy app.
@brhorta no need to be sad. There are plenty of apps that allow you to control time lapse intervals. I’ll try to dig around and see if there’s anything that adds the motion blur for android.
You’re in Costa Mesa literally a couple of blocks away from me lol Good stuff man. Thanks for this video. I have an Insta360flow right now. How would you compare the Homem against it?
Both of them are great gimbals! Been using the iSteady M6 more often since it has 400g of payload capacity and unrestricted panning. If ai need a foldable gimbal I tend to use Insta360 Flow. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼
Which apps do you use to capture time lapse?

@@EMTFILMS Hohem offers the A/B Buttons specially (and only) for the timelapse Mode …..!

@@EMTFILMSThank you 👍😊
Thank you. Hi from Türkiye.😊👋
Hello 🤘🏼😊

Custom can be used to set points along your preferred path. Left to right, up and down and extend this to as close as 360 as possible.
You can also use the A/B buttons to preset start and end points regardless of the app you use to capture.

@@EMTFILMS I tried everything. I even read the manual.
Can you do a automatic pan without timelapse. That would be great. I want to film a simple pan and want to say how it should automatic move around
You can use the A/B button function to set your desired path regardless of the app or mode! I use this all the time! Hope this helps! 🤘🏼
@@EMTFILMS oh ok i have the isteady v3. My fault. Do you know if it is possible with that too? Thank you very much
Is there any way to map the a-b functionality to the wireless remote?
That would be clutch! Not that im aware of but ill ask around
@@EMTFILMS Thank you
Very helpful video!!! Nice hat!!😊
Thank you! 😁
Thank you were you using nd filters?
Almost always use the Sandmarc Variable ND. 🤘🏼
@@EMTFILMSthanks! Also with the second method were you still using the timelapse mode on your phone?
Yes using the moment app but with the A/B buttons! My favorite!

Love me some Timelapse/time warp
About this moment app, how can I find it?
