Great work and the plans were interesting.Like you said lot of work and clever planning.Enjoy your work and have also followed your cooking channel and made some flap jacks.
Genuinely one of the best channels I've ever had the pleasure of finding Dave! I'm a Geordie myself! I actually work in film and tv as an Art Director, producing technical drawings and designs for set builds. Absolutely loved seeing your hand drafting! Hope to bump into you one day haha
A Very methodical approach Dave but yes, having a plan to stick to makes things run smooth indeed, especially having all the materials at hand. I don't like rock'n roll bed layouts but I'll watch along none the less. Great to see you back.
I would have left the wheel arch boxing in place. It's a regular shape, easily measurable, and the box top is regular, even and flat. Easy to work with, or around.
@@dave-watson Ah, didn't see the warping. Anyway, we'll see how things go, I'm storing the series on a file, as I've never done anything like this, but I do fancy giving it a go....one day. Thanks Dave.
Dave, Love the methodical planning,do you have the order in which you tackle the tasks available as a template ?. as Im about to embark on my first build, copying one of your earlier vivaros ,it would be useful to a newbie like me
Hey there Dave how's things going? I've watched all your videos regarding van conversions...however they are all long wheel bases, I have a swb and was wondering if you do conversions on them too? Many thanks 👊
Hi Dave. Great video. Can I ask, what did you pay for this van? Trying to work out what is a reasonable price for a van of this age, mileage, and size. Thanks.
Dave you sound local I run a vauxhall service department in Gateshead. If you meed any service work please give me a a shout i would love to help as your videos have helped me with my conversation

Hi, Yes the first van I did was a SWB vivaro and it worked out well.
Hi Dave. Great video. Can I ask, what did you pay for this van? Trying to work out what is a reasonable price for a van of this age, mileage, and size. Thanks.
This van has 64K miles, FSH and is mint and I paid 12.5k for it.
