It’s really a universal standard for any fake merchandise. If the franchise has multiple looks over its history, you can guarantee that they won’t stay consistent with what look they use for the box art. Ben 10 suffers from it, Yugioh suffers from it, everything suffers from it.
When I was young I traded my 1st edition Joey Wheeler deck + some other first edition cards to some kid in my neighborhood who told me he had wanted to get rid of his cards. He gave me double the amount but they were all fake af from the flea market. I was too small to defend myself to this kid but I never let that down. I still think about that to this day 🤦🏽♂️

Story : my cousin’s first cards were fake YuGiOh cards from a flea market and he wanted to play against me but he would always lose because the card synergy was poor (All the cards were from Dark Beginning 1) . So I went out a bought one of these bootleg decks for a few dollars and we played and every single duel felt like the anime because I didn’t know what was going to happen. Those were good times.
I mean clearly whoever made this misspelled and printed the wrong arts on purpose to avoid being sued. But damn I really like this. I think the yugioh community should have a hand in card creation. Something like that create a card tournament konami had some months back. Also whatever happened to the inzektor card that won? Was it ever released?
I think there was some controversy around the entire event because people were essentially rigging the poles with bots, so Konami called it off. I may be wrong though. And as much as I’d love to see the community actually get some of their customs made/acknowledged, it will never happen for multiple reasons. It only happened once, and the card is technically banned, but then again, only 2 copies exist

The idea of adding a pack or two to structure decks sounds great! They’ve always advertised buying supporting sets to help modify and amplify the decks, so to have something a little extra to potentially spice up your new deck with different tech sounds cool.
Damn I remember here there were fake starter decks sold in smaller shops. They were also like 3 euros instead of 10 or 20 but the boxes were exact copies of the official starter decks. Given how much a boxed original starter deck costs now I wish someone would do a starter deck boxes reproduction like those I seen back in the days lol

XD wondering if there were products of the newest generations, like pendulum or links fake cards And later (after the shower) having my breakfast and watching the video of "Dueling with Fake Cards", I realized that Alex has not a section like the others members of the team (Chris finally has his own too after a long waiting)... So I thought that you might do a section of "Real Cards VS Fake Cards" with kinda random functional decks, or "Real Deck VS Fake Deck" where you take the same structure decks/cards but different in that way, and Alex trying to beat another member of the team on a duel with his fake cards! Think about it, sounds great for me having in mind that both kind of cards are seriously OP to their way XD

I used to have a few hundred of these fake cards from Poland when I was a kid, sadly they're lost now. There were many different forms of the summoned lord exodia, most of which had the infinity symbol or the word "infinity" for its stats. They were cheap as hell though, a full structure deck cost less than $2
Fun fact: in Japan yu gi oh structure decks have special card packs in them. The card pull is 5 of 10 cards and are all extra deck(for mine at least )but have real nice holos. Yes we are missing out. Hope I blew your mind team APS

5-6 years ago, I bought a Meklord Structure Deck. And get this, there is an anime-only card called "Aurora Draw". Its anime effect is that you can draw two cards if you control a Meklord Emperor on the field and no other cards in hand. But the card I got excluded/removed the extra condition of having a Meklord Emperor. If that card wasn't fake, it would've been a broken "Draw 2" card BC it wasn't a "once per turn" card.

Ah yes. Used to see this fake structure decks years ago. Whenever a new archetype got a support, a new box will appear with full member of the archetype along with the new support and many other staples. And the boxes actually carry cards with good text too. I remember trying to buy one of those and was surprised by how good (for a fake) the quality was. And not to mention uncensored artwork... (I bought a harpie box when channeler first appeared in OCG)
Arc-V box, with a booster pack labeled as Vrains with a 5Ds blurb that claims it's from Zexal, and to top it off, the playmat has the original DM/Fusion era layout and labeling. It's an actual perfect storm of errors.

Used to see this fake structure decks years ago. Whenever a new archetype got a support, a new box will appear with full member of the archetype along with the new support and many other staples. And the boxes actually carry cards with good text too.
I remember trying to buy one of those and was surprised by how good (for a fake) the quality was. And not to mention uncensored artwork... (I bought a harpie box when channeler first appeared in OCG)
It's funny how "Schild" is pronounced in American English considering its semantic origins (also something that I've been noticing with MBT's videos).
Arc-V box, with a booster pack labeled as Vrains with a 5Ds blurb that claims it's from Zexal, and to top it off, the playmat has the original DM/Fusion era layout and labeling. It's an actual perfect storm of errors.
