What i love about this version is the audience sings the the entire song along with him
Please do "High Hopes" from the same concert, the 94 Pulse concert! The music is unbelievably beautiful and the words are nostalgic in longing for the past!!! You would enjoy that song at least as much as you did this one!! And you're correct about one thing!! When you think you have Pink Floyd pegged as to how you think they're going to sound, they surprise you every time when they sing the next song!!!!
And as far as him surprising you when he was vocalizing along with the guitar, that catches everyone off guard when they first see it! Especially the first time they SEE Mr. Gilmour doing it!!!!!

i know what you mean about his voice. i've been a fan since '73. everyone always commented on his guitar playing, never his voice, but i've always loved his voice, as well. however, i've never found the word to describe it, other than just smooth. it doesn't quite do it justice, though. great reaction

Large screen tv and a real sound system with quality speakers....... headphones only give you about 60% of the performance and ear buds give even less.
