Our Vienna Christmas Market video comes out tomorrow! It's so weird watching this..like looking into a mirror. 😂 A lot of the same stalls, same sights, but through a different lens and perspective. Christmas Markets in Europe are just freakin' magical. 🎅
Nice!!! We've been to a few different markets over the last year or so but honestly, not much comes close to Vienna (although supposedly the ones in Scandinavia are really cool too). We're already wishing we'd spent more time enjoying Vienna's. There's SO much to see. Thank y'all so much for watching our video!
@@ProbablyLost We've been to Christmas Markets in 8 countries to date. Six in Europe! Germany and Austria have definitely been the best so far. Though maybe we're a bit biased, since Anja is German and we lived there for two years. 😂 We'd love to check some out in Scandinavia. Also the perfect excuse to make our way North, up to Santa's Village in Finland. That would be incredible. 🤩 No prob, guys! Excited to see what else you guys get up to now that you're back in Europe!
It is finally December so you know I’m in the Christmas spirit! Put up my tree this morning to find your video ready to watch. What a beautiful place. I’ve never been to Vienna but maybe one day.
WOOHOO TREE!!!! I'm so happy you got to enjoy our video during your decorating time. You should definitely check out Vienna if you ever get the chance!! Thank you so much for watching!!!:)
Oh my goodness it's amazing!! Vienna is honestly stunning no matter when you visit, but the Christmas markets make it one of those cities that almost feels like a different city entirely at this time of year. We can't wait to come back to enjoy these markets one day in the future. It's just such a beautiful place at Christmas. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video & for always being so kind & supportive of us!!!:)
The last place you visited is called Rathausplatz, not Ratheusplatz as you wrote, Rathaus means city hall in English. Nice video but I think I'll stay here in the mountains, beautiful Christmas markets to visit around here. Lots of snow all over Austria, although I did not see any snow in Vienna where you made this video? The past few days and extremely cold but beautiful.
GREAT catch Eddy!! I was rushing to get this video out at a semi-decent hour & totally messed that up😅 So we actually filmed this video last week, but we've still been kind of playing catch-up recently with our videos so it ended up coming out this weekend rather than last. Our next video is from Budapest & that one was relatively tame. HOWEVER we just got to Krakow & holy cow the snow is insane. We're really trying to figure out how in the world we're going to film with all of it. With regard to the mountains, I absolutely don't blame you at all. We're pretty desperate to make it over to that part of Austria at some point. I felt like we got a small taste of it last year in Salzburg. Thank you so much as always for being so supportive Eddy!!!!
Thank you so much!!! We feel so lucky to be able to experience these places. Europe just feels so magical this time of year. Hopefully our videos encourage people to come check these out for themselves. There's pretty much no downside to visiting at this time of year (outside of maybe the cold weather LOL). Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
Cozy is a GREAT word to describe these markets! Vienna's probably at the top of the list when it comes to setting a high bar for Christmas markets. We've been to a few different cities now for Christmas time & Vienna's our favorite. We can't wait to get back there in the future!! Thank y'all so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
Oh I had no idea they did Easter Markets!! Hannah's looking for an excuse to come back, so I think now she has it🤣 The Christmas Markets are unbelievable though. We couldn't believe how beautiful they were. DEFINITELY worth braving the cold weather for. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
Thank you!!! We use a Sony A7XIII. It's a bit bulky but the quality of the camera more than makes up for it! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!!
Thank you!!!! Hannah was very reluctant to let me go cut it all off but MAN does it feel great to not have all that hair anymore😂 thank you so much for watching!!😊
Great Video! We are heading to Europe this Christmas so are trying to sort out of plans :) A question, all the drinks that you buy that come in mugs, I take it you have to hand the mug back? Do you pay like a deposit and once you're finished you get money back?
Hi!! You’re going to LOVE the markets!! As far as the deposit, you are correct. You pay what’s called a “pfand” and if you keep the mug then you don’t get it back. It’s usually a few euros. But if you return the mug then you’ll get those euros back! It’s incredibly efficient & we find the mugs generally always make that specific Christmas market experience much better than the ones with the paper cups. I hope this helps, and thank you so much for watching our video!!!😊
Oh we would LOVE to visit Bucharest for their markets!! We went to Bucharest last year & loved it. It's such an underrated city. We can't wait to visit there again in the future!! Thank you so much for your kind words & for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
Do you have a recommendation for where to stay (which district) for Christmas markets? We have a 10 day trip in Dec 2024. We don't mind walking or using metro, just don't want to be too far out from the markets. Great video. It looks so beautiful! I can't wait to visit.
It was so great to meet y'all!!! Y'all made that match watching experience so much better, because Chelsea has such a way of wearing us out on matchdays🤣 Have a great rest of your time in Krakow!!!!!:)
You're going to love it!! One thing that we didn't get to see was the Art Advent at Karlskirche so if you get a chance, let us know how it is! Thanks so much for watching our video & safe travels!:)
100% Whenever the Christmas markets open!! But we’d recommend after the initial wave of people arrive for the opening. So we’d recommend probably the second week of the markets opening (Nov 20-30).
Great question! It actually varies. Most stands selling souvenirs take card, & most stands offering food/drink accept card. However there were a few stands that only took cash. However if you visit Rathausplatz or Stephansdom then you won't have much issue with using a card. Hopefully that makes sense & provides a bit of clarity lol. Thank you so much for watching our video!!
The lady vlogger’s eyes are scary when she smiles, as if she wearing full black contact lenses. 😖😰🫣 Wonderful vlog though. Captured everything for everyone to see.
What a beautiful ❤city and adding Christmas markets is just the icing on the cake! 🎄🎄🫶🫶♥️♥️On my travel list for next year! 🤩🤩
I can promise you won't regret it!!!!

At 13:29 these are aranci , Italian rice balls with mozzarella and tomato sauce at center.
These look so amazing! We will be there for the Easter Markets next year, but the Christmas markets are definitely on my bucket list!

What dates did you go? Wanting to go last week of November this year but not sure how the weather will be!
I do recommend the X-Mas Market at Spittelberg in the 7th district. Nice, not so commercial and in a beautiful Biedermaier setting.

Not at all...we cant enjoy our own country anymore because to many tourists...

In your opinion, which is the best month to visit Vienna, November or December?
100% Whenever the Christmas markets open!! But we’d recommend after the initial wave of people arrive for the opening. So we’d recommend probably the second week of the markets opening (Nov 20-30).
Magical!!!❤
