Finally. I searched for this forever and everyone else kept telling me a bunch of crap that had nothing to do with this, though they mentioned it in the explanation of what they were going to share. Thank you again!
Dave, you have truly been an essential part of my learning over the years with Studio One. Each time I have a question, I would do a search, and you always had a video to help my need! I finally stopped searching RUclips and now just go to your channel to find my answers. ALSO, love your comparisons with Slate, Universal Audio (and others). Really helps me determine which S1 plugins are acceptable, and which 3rd Party I need to look into. Thanks to you, I'm now using (and very happy with) Slate VMR MIx Rack, UA Oxide, and UA 88RS. Thank you Dave!!!
Thanks Ray! I am really happy to hear that my channel has helped you! I try my best to provide good quality instruction for folks who are new to recording, mixing etc. Thanks for all your support!
Great tip (Didn't know this was possible) Just starting to record our bands second 'EP'. I play acoustic drums with triggers and e-cymbals and record my parts in midi then play back through easy drummer. (Don't often see videos on this..) The result is fantastic - Easy drummer (and the others Superior, Addictive etc.) have awesome authentic sounds. Gives a professional edge to the whole recording) Thanks again.

Kinda dumb question but anyways. When I use separate channels for the drums, the midi track (above, where the pattern is displayed) changes its name to the first drum track (most likely it's kick). Is there a workaround for this? Instead, I would like to use that track as a master track for all the drums. Is that possible?
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy I found a way to get this (somewhat) solved. I just route all the drum tracks to a separate bus, which will be the drum master bus, and in the midi track settings I set "channel" to "none" - this way I can rename the channel itself, without affecting any of the drum tracks. Works fine but seems a bit ugly, lol. Thanks for replying anyway!
