Thought it'd be hoaky, possibly a bit better. Turned out a solid A. Beginning was great, then it got hoaky, chessy and was tempted to stop, but it added just enough, and I figured I'd finish... then it just got better & better. Be some time a movie was as dynamic as this. The ending was way better, far more than expected, and the hoaky, cheesy aspect was just enough to make your expectations go away only to resuscitate them and exceed them. Fantastic script, directing & acting. Solid A movie. Just stay the coarse, it's a great ride.
Well I liked this movie. Of course the are continuity issues and as mentioned without English dialogues its not as impactful but overall this is refreshing and very well made movie. The ending, climax could have been a little better. Its a bit too clunky and somewhat underwhelming in the end, especially after how well it had been set up. But overall you captured the whole movie really well. The plot twist as you mentioned catches us off guard. I would say the movie needed to plug in a few holes, and make the climax a bit more twisted. Its a little flat. A straight up confrontation was the easiest way out. But other than this an extremely well made movie. It has it twists and turns and good production values and an pretty good cast who do really well in playing their characters. Because the dialogue is in Russian it obviously will not create the same impact, as obviously dialogues complete the acting but its pretty entertaining and engaging. It does not rely on visual effects or gimmicks to tell its story. I give this a 7-7.5. I expected like you a cheesy B-movie, but it has far more depth and quality than that.
In Russia this film caught a lot of attention. Negative and positive. And didn't make enough cash because of it. Mostly, because of message, veiwers could see in film. In modern Russia realities (2012-2021), make movie with such filling, and besides do it in a way that authors did, it's like making film about greatness of Jean-Bedel Bokassa's regime and how his people should have been rejoining upon his wise rullership. However if you don't live in Russia or "странах бывшего СНГ", I think, your movie theater session will be regular, but not without pleasant feelings. P.S. If authors of this, would do films in the future. Please, I beg you, do not try to play with total usurpation question (from city courts, to president and parliament) anymore. You are bad at doing so, and It looks disgusting when you see someone tries to call that nowdays situation in Russia and "странах бывшего СНГ" is good and worth to protect. Be respectfull to the natural human rights. And one more. In movies, means not what you say after film, but what you shows in film.
Guys, don't listen him. Those who sees some political shit in the movie were brainwashed by rusophobic video bloggers. Movie has nothing with reality it's just parallel universe with alternative Russia (like many others superhero movies have their own universe with alternative NYC, LA etc).
@@Nanana_nananana_naaa , It's not question about politics. This is only a metter of scenario talent and trying to hipe on things that people realy discuss. Some, are professionals, knowing how visual language works (hello, Dark knight rises, with the same main ideas as Major Grom - "Court of crowd is not a good thing"), and some, are just Bubble that can do a good picture but can't insert their meaning in it. If you are not skilled enough in visual storytaling, than don't try to play with real world problems. Do like Marvel in Avengers (1st "Avengers" movie), and not like Bubble with their straight allusions on Bolotnaya ("you have no right of doing meeting without government approval!") and telegram (Snowden cries in a corner), that it what it's all about. P.S. And now, Bubble already have their punishment for playing with fire, every can miss a few steps from their pride. I don't think that people shouldn't watch this movie, just hoping, that lesson is learned.
Russian here! 🇷🇺
Communist will get loose motions while watching this.🤣👍🏻
the movie just copied “the joker” and other batman movies
There are no people with super power
@@oksanad4860 that was the most rudimentary example u could’ve given but yes, you’re correct. tons of other aspects tho
Would it be better scenario, or doing like Marvel (original "Avengers", first film)in future, have no meaning for me.
