why are they acting like embiid didnt win a game scoring 50?
That was the game before, it's all about what happened last.
Imagine dropping 50, then a triple double and everyone saying you need to take a back seat. I love Maxey but let’s not forget that Embiid been doing this all year
Calling Embiid Robin is actually insane. It's super normal for a big to have an elite guard or wing to pair with. No one calls Jokic Robin when Murray closes out games or Giannis Robin when Middleton takes over.

Embiid is not the one getting help. In fact for this series its more like Maxey getting help from Embiid. Even then Embiid has not been very good this series.
@@AyyeBC He is injured, being blitzed on every possession and was playing with a migraine. Maxey doesn't get in a groove without Embiid taking pressure off of him and his defense was great down the stretch.

Knicks have to foul Maxey at the end of regulation when they had a three point lead and Maxey was taking the ball up to shoot the three! You can't let him get that shot off to tie the game.
They don't watch basketball and/or know it. In this soft little man favored modern NBA, a big needs a little man to take him over the top down the stretch. Have they seen Murray with Jokic? Plus this game they were straight doubling Embiid a lot of the time. Obviously that takes him out of his scoring rhythm and his scoring numbers will be down. That's why he had 10 assists and would have had more if his teammates other than Maxey hadn't gone 0 for a million. @@user-tn5zm7cj3m I watched that series and I think you also have to take into consideration that New Orleans is down a key player in Zion. That series looks a lot different when you have multiple offensive threats you have to be aware of. Ingram was the only real threat New Orleans had (cj looks like a shell of his former self). You combine that with OKC playing as well as they did and it was never a contest to begin with. Philly needs a long, versatile yet offensively competent wing player.
