Sarah Carey is the editor of Everyday Food magazine and her job is to come up with the best ways to make fast, delicious food at home. But she's also a mom to two hungry kids, so the question "What's for dinner?" is never far from her mind -- or theirs, it seems! Her days can get crazy busy (whose don't?), so these videos are all about her favorite fast, fresh meals -- and the tricks she uses to make it all SO much easier.

I add a few shakes of Tabasco sauce to the egg mixture for a little zing. It's not too spicy but it just adds a little extra flavor. I also use fresh baby spinach that I bunch up and slice thinly. It stays a beautiful green and keeps its texture nicely. I hate standing by the sink squeezing thawed spinach forever to get all the water out. And I use a mixture of cream and buttermilk. The buttermilk adds a tasty tang and smoothness! Yum!

i just got diagnosed with celiac and trying to cook with gluten freeflour now has been SUCH a struggle, from baking to frying, you name it!! i would love it if you could make a "kitchen conundrums" video about the different gluten free flours and information about those with cooking and baking. IT WOULD BE SOOOOO HELPFUL. LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!!!

As always Sarah thank you for sharing. I learned about blind baking from one of your other recipes and it really makes all the difference.
