We just came from Riu palace and IMO, the buffet had better food than the sit down restaurants. Or maybe I’m just greedy and like more options and not being limited. 😊
It depends! If you want to be able to have some quiet time, then go with Palace. If that doesn’t matter to you then Reggae (because then you’ll also have access to MoBay). If you stay at MoBay you do NOT have access to Reggae.
The beach is nice! And there were 3 pools if I remember correctly. 2 of them had swim up bars. Much more quieter and relaxed than the pools at the other 2 resorts

If none of that is important then save some money by staying at Reggae and use the savings for excursions lol. There’s not much lively entertainment at Palace, it’s better at Reggae and food is pretty much the same.

You are so right ! My daughters and grandchildren stayed there in June this year in 2024. All inclusive for Adults only 😊

Which is more lit between Place and Montego bay. Where are more people at having fun. I noticed Montego Bay has 800 rooms to Palace's 200.
Montego Bay for sure. Palace is more laid back. But when you stay at Palace, you can also visit Montego Bay

The hotel is beautiful I loved the color of the bathroom and the set up . . I love robes as well

Yes there’s different color wristbands depending on which resort you’re staying at

If you’re at the palace, are you able to go to the restaurants at Riu monetgo bay and reggae or have access to their buffets?
Yes you are! They say only for lunch but I believe as long as it’s not too busy, you can for other meals as well

I’ve heard the food at the one in Ocho Rios is really good. Personally I feel like the brand is more about “fun” than it is luxury
