This is Jack's end My favorite Final Fantasy character, I would like to see him a little bit more but he died how he lived skipping those bs cinematics and going straight to the bone.
Thanks to this game, Garland will now be known as the man behind the armor: funny Chaos man who listens to nu-metal and skips cutscenes. And I'm totally fine with that.
I feel so weird fighting against Jack... and a shame I didn't got to see "Chaos" for the final time. at least the Strangers can be at peace now and a job well done.
Thanks for sharing this! I don't think I'll get through the dlc on this one, it didn't grip me as hard as nioh unfortunately. But I did enjoy everything I played
After everything from beginning of the game until end. Jack start to hunt down kill chaos and met others Warrior of Light. Even it cost them to make Jack needs chaos. Nothing way to restore the world and he choose to become chaos Garland. Now that after everything Jack decided to be chaos and who else can restore the Light. Only the world can’t give up…is the Real Warrior of Light must defeat final boss villain. After that I wonder what happened until then…farewell…Jack Garland..
Comments: (talking like Jack and his friends are all dead forever) You can tell that literally no one has played, or even glanced at the original FF1. Defeating Chaos changes the timeline so that Garland is both alive and a good guy again.
What im cobfused by is why is there a dragoon in the WoL's party? There was no Dragoon in FF1. It should have been a black mage in my opinion. Or did they not want to have him in the fedora outfit?
@@pumpkintank8156I believe that in final DLC, a lore entry by the Emperor said that Jack and OG Garland from FF1 are two different people. “This Garland is not the same one from the World of Battle,” I think it said.

Can somebody explain to me how this ties into the ending of the base game? So is this boss fight against Garland canon and the true ending to the game ? Before this mission and in the first DLC we played as Garland against the WOL and now the roles are reversed.. what's true and what's not ?
The canon ending is the one where Jack refuse, leading to this fight. the archive in-game even call the cutscene "the right future" Alternate ending is just a fun little bonus
They’re both real last I recall. Sorry for late response. When you defeat Warrior of Light as Garland, thats not the same guy we know. This one is pretty much Warrior of Light without us playing as him. As you see, he failed to defeat Garland. Garland mentioned he will be reborn 2000 years in the future to fight him again (also mentioned in this if you die to Garland). Before FF1 has always been a cycle for every time Warrior of Light is defeated. Thats when we showed up, we broke that cycle by playing as Warrior of Light and help him win. Because Warrior of Light is victorious, the cycle is broken and the world is at peace. Now here when you play as Warrior of Light, he is THE same guy you play as. Thus, ends the cycle. The previous Warrior of Light isnt ours and you can tell because we still play as Garland when fighting him. But in this, we played as Warrior of Light instead. Implying he’s the same one we guided through FF1.
why is it that the world decided darkness is evil. whos to say the true evil is not light. because something is bright means its good? because something is devoid of light automatically means its evil? your thoughts
Jack neon astos are in Dissdia final fantasy opera omnia jp which is the mobile game while in the global we got jack only you can get him in the last chapter of act3 for dffoo
Okay...that's a cheap ending. At least show Jack and his friends being happy at the end or something. Like in the original game, my boi Jack just fades with the message: Oh no memories, so nothing happened. Sigh...
While I'm glad this game got closure, considering how unfair and unbalanced the DLCs were I can't say I enjoyed them much. I love this game but not enough to pour my whole life into gittin gud cuz the devs restricted the DLC to God-tier level gamers :/
I'm gonna miss Jack.
He truly did it his way.
It was pure badass to use a Frank Sinatra song with proper context in a Final Fantasy game.

This game is so awesome one of my favourite game of 2022

Same here! This DLC made the game even better
Same. Best of 2022. Love the game mechanics. If FF15 has the same combat mechanics such as this it will be the best FF in 2016.

So WOL did in fact save him in a way, too.
Fk, now I wish they would remake FF1 with this exact gameplay so I can play it. I never could finish those pixel ff games, gets too boring for me.
Correct~ but it is a spin off~ i wouldnt consider this to be a direct anything to the OG

So you get to use Warrior Of Light Finally meaning you need to defeat Jack Garland and End this fight
funny that this is all canon. hopefully we get Stranger of Paradise 2 in FF2s world playing as Mateus and ruling a nation!
I prefer we just get a remake of II

yes!! YES!! THE WARRIOR OF LIGHT at last!... so this game is conected to Dissidia world and story but also works as prequel for FF1? 💙🎮🤗
Yup. Dissidia final fantasy opera omnia continues the story post FF1
Both Dissidia and this game are like prequels to FFI.
A great way to add a new spin on the OG boss.
I think so too!
They should really do a remake of ff1 with an open world like the original
If there was a way to skip the 2nd dlc so I could play the third I would, how did you feel about the dlc?
you can use extra mode to go straight to the last difficulty by doing the base game +dlcs main mission. So far, the dlc3 is great with a finale.
