Well done for persisting with these bucket systems. Although they are super easy to carry around, I just find fluffing and maintaining a bucket system much harder. Except for my four inground garden buckets, I now use all my buckets as bedding bins. ~ Sandra
I vote for a sift out of these bins and start a new one with the overs (casting boulders). They do make for a fun way to vermicompost slightly different from the typical bin! Another excellent video AV!!🪱🪱🪱
Hmmm... sounds like a pretty good idea. It would get a bunch of finished castings out of the way & give the wormies a chance at refining the stuff that's presently in a clumpy state. And then they could also be treated to a bunch of nice fresh bedding too... which is something they haven't had in some time now :)

I agree that maintaining buckets is tedious - especially tilling, fluffing & aerating the materials that wind up at the very bottom :)
