Nah for starters the best thing to do is follow roads to know the layout of the map, and then power lines and trails and kindof road short cuts, and then once you know the map just run straight through the woods
@@aaronsavage8018 there's just as much, if not more distance on the roads and roads have increased risk of PVP. If you food up before you run away from the coast you should be fine.
Another tip, if you see a dude named "Zyrachiy" and he's wearing a ghillie and has a sniper rifle chilling nearby the beach in heavily wooded areas and not shooting fresh spawns. That's me, I'm watching for fresh spawn killers so don't smack me or come near the small camp I tend to make with camo nets and a normal makeshift camp. Feel free to just keep distance and ask for me for some stuff, I may give a knife I have and maybe one bread spread to keep you guys up and moving.

Dude. I’m in love with how hard this game is. Finally a challenge. Been mostly a sports game and FPS player. Was pro as a kid in GOW. But on Xbox, DAYz crashes and glitches out ALOT. Like, if I try to join a server of a version I don’t have by accident, I can no longer navigate the menu at all, have to restart the game, and when I do find a server to join, I’ll just stop being able to pick up and/or use items OR fight. Fuckin annoying. Love the game when I’m actually able to play it!

This shit is so much harder on console it’s a battle just to figure out how to equip a new jacket or anything for that matter 💀 the inventory system for console needs a damn cursor where you can just click and grab the items over where you want them
No not “only from pumps” you can actually drink from water that’s running like a river. If you can hear and see it’s flowing and isn’t stagnant it’s safe to drink from. I do it all the time and never get sick.
Whenever i kill a random player in one of these games, i feel a little bad because they lose all of their stuff, and sometimes they worked hard to get it, and i feel even more bad if they were actually a Friendly
Guys…..I finally found my first rifle complete with mag. Few hours later found an unopened box of ammo. About 5 minutes later I died from sickness……keep grinding

I found a knife and equipped it, then I was looting a building and realised my knife was gone.. Then I found brass knuckles and the same thing happened
Funny story: I gave the player food and we were looking for things together and when I was in invetory he attacked me so I shot him in the leg and he knocked me down and we died together XD
